Zante Sun Resort

Had a fantastic stay here. The staff were really friendly and very helpful. We had a problem with our fridge but they worked on it until it was fixed and kept us updated on what was happening. The food was very good and very well presented with the restaurant manager making sure everything was kept in order whilst ensuring guests had everything they needed. Him and all the waitresses were very welcoming and during lunch and dinner brought bottles of water to the table and took your drinks order. We used the small pool at the back of the hotel and were always able to find a sunbed and at the snack bar there was a lovely lady that served the drinks and kept the area tidy. We had lunch a couple times at the main snack bar and that was also good. We really enjoyed the fruit cups which were filled with all kinds of fruit and the toasted sandwiches and burgers that were made to order. Again the staff at this bar/snack bar were very friendly. The rooms are very modern but my only complaint was there were no drawers to put anything in . They were cleaned every day. It is very quiet in the evening but you get used to it and we had brought a pack of cards with us so we were okay. We visited Cameo Island and my husband enjoyed his swim in the sea. It's 5 euro and you get a souvenir keyring. The little beach does get busy so best to go early. We also waled to Laganas a couple of times and enjoyed a drink on the seafront. All in all we had a great time and would definitely go back.

Not a long journey from the airport. Check in was fast and efficient. We had 2 rooms that accommodated 3 people in each. The hotel was spotless and the staff very polite. For us as a family the only thing that let the hotel down was there wasn’t a great choice at meal times (all inclusive) for children. There were no pancakes or waffles served at breakfast which we have become accustomed to at other hotels when on an all inclusive package and very little for fussy eating children to choose from on an evening. (No chicken nuggets or pizza etc) The all inclusive drinks (cocktails) were an acquired taste.. there was no usual “s@x on the beach or pina colada.. just a large list of made up cocktails that to me tasted like alcoholic Ice pops. There is no entertainment on an evening and no music playing around the pool. ( which will be heaven to some people) The walk into Laganas isn’t the best as there are no footpaths when walking on the roads and if you drop down to follow the beach you end up walking over stones/rocks in places and either have to walk through the sea at one point or walk up hill through a beach bar to join the road. This is a lovely hotel but unfortunately the food aspect has ruined it a bit for us.

Everything was clean and nice. Stuf was very polite and helpfull. Our room was very nice we loved it. Food was excellent and I can’t say anything bad about the hotel nor hotel employees. Only thing that is negative about the hotel is that theater is no beach directly next to the hotel but we went there and we knew about it so it was okay for us.

Lovely hotel, the standard of the room was very good with tea making facilities and a fridge. The towels were changed every day and the cleaners did an excellent job. The cocktails in the Skyfall bar were excellent. All of the staff in the restaurant and main pool bar worked very hard, always with a smile and nothing was too much trouble. The only thing stopping me from giving this five stars was the cost of the towels for the pool: €30 for the two of us for 10 days - we could exchange them each day but I think this was a high charge.

1st time in Zante for our group of friends. The Zante sun hotel was beautiful, really friendly and spotlessly clean. staff were lovely and go out of their way to help if needed. Good location for boat trips and very peaceful in the evening. Ate out at a few local restaurants also and the food was excellent. Great holiday had by all. ☀️

The hotel was outstanding from beginning to end. We arrived late at night and were pleasantly surprised to find that sandwiches had been prepared for us, which was greatly appreciated after a long day of travel. Our room was spacious, clean, and exactly as described. The food was excellent, catering to all tastes. The chefs continuously prepared fresh dishes to ensure there was plenty for everyone. The waitstaff were hardworking and efficient, quickly clearing plates and taking drink orders. The hotel manager was always present, particularly during meal times, and made a point to speak with us daily, showing genuine concern for our satisfaction. The hotel is situated in a quiet location, as advertised, and is a short walk from the harbor. My partner and I spent an evening in Laganas, which was just a short taxi ride away, to enjoy some drinks which was nice if you like some lively nightlife. We booked two excursions during our stay: the 3-in-1 trip with Traventure and the Shipwreck tour with Happy Traveller. We highly recommend Traventure for a personal experience and beautiful sights. However, avoid booking with Happy Traveller; they were a complete disappointment and have poor reviews on Facebook, which I wish I had checked before. For future trips, it's worth asking the hotel for recommendations on reputable companies. Would definitely recommend staying here to anyone.

Beautiful hotel, friendly staff, great variety of food. The hotel was modern, well maintained and very clean. Baboo made some fantastic cocktails up on the Skyfall bar which were better than at home. We had never stayed on this side of the Island, but the hotel was in a perfect location for catching a boat ride to turtle island or visiting Cameo Island. The restaurant staff were friendly and very helpful with finding a table. The hotel cuts off all inclusive at 11am on the day of departure and our pickup wasn’t until 16:30 so having no drinks/lunch before pickup wasn’t what we wanted to hear and something we have never experienced when travelling before. We were fortunate enough that Reception allowed us to pay for the extension of our room until 16:00 had our all inclusive extended until 14:00. Is this something that could be considered to be changed for guests in future? Thank you for the wonderful stay we had, we will definitely consider returning if the rules of All inclusive change (bringing our children with us just wouldn’t be an option without this change).
