Very nice and friendly hotel. I liked the area a lot, it is closed to many nice beaches, where you can reach by foot. Staffs are friendly and pool area is lovely and well maintained.
Free use of sunbed/parasol at the nearby beach is a huge plus. Really lovely beach!
Drink/food from the hotel is very good and reasonable price, wish they offer more choices though.
If you are looking for a relaxing stay in the island, not need much of night life, this is the place

We have just returned from a week. We had a warm welcome on arrival. The hotel is in a stunning location for a beach holiday, sitting between 2 gorgeous beaches just a stones throw from the hotel. Our room was beautifully renovated and spotlessly clean. Very nice to have a separate shower room too. Breakfast was possibly one of the best we’ve ever experienced in Greece. The pool area was beautiful, clean and well maintained. The air con was very efficient and much needed… the only ****** was having to pay 10€ a day for it!! We’ve never had that before and always stay in the same type of hotel in Greece. We were told it was because we had booked with a tour operator. Overall we could not fault this hotel !!

Excellent hotel, good location for a peaceful holiday. Several beaches within walking distance. Room was comfortable, hotel staff were amazing nothing was too much for them and breakfast had everything we needed. Good selection of Tavernas nearby.

We had a wonderful week long stay here. The hotel is as described and Hilary and Ria are so friendly and run the hotel really well! They also have 2 Labrador dogs Bailey and Baloo who are just an added bonus and don't cause any trouble. We had a superior room and it was really comfy with plenty of room and storage, the shower was hot with good pressure. Our room was kept clean everyday and came with Aircon, fridge, kettle and safe (big enough for a 10inch tablet). The breakfast is always fresh and offers cooked items, cold meats, cheeses, cereals, fruit, bread, cakes and pastries with tea and coffee. The staff all work extremely hard and deserve a lot of thanks and credit. The pool area is beautiful and the pool itself is a big size and warm, the day bar serves drinks, food and ice cream during the day that are all reasonably priced and tasty! The evening menu is small but tasty and again well priced. The area is lovely and quiet, plenty of beautiful sandy beaches our favourite for watersports was Banana beach (10-15 minute walk) but Plaka beach was also beautiful and quiet. St Nicholas beach is lovely and closest to the hotel. The hotel has several taverna's nearby our favourite being Familia closely followed by Mesala. Around a 20 minute walk further inland is Lithies tavern definitely worth a visit! My only complaint is that we were only there for one week, we are looking at returning next year for 2 weeks. This is a beautiful hotel set in peaceful surroundings. Sami and Gwendoline run the bar and food during the day and are so helpful and friendly. They are absolutely lovely, nothing is too much trouble! The food is amazing. The pool area is clean and tidy and offers shade and full sun. There are lots of games, books and lots of little areas you can sit and relax in. I would thoroughly recommend.

Just back from our 6th. visit to the VBH and everything about the hotel and the staff was wonderful (even through the pandemic!) We are retired so are able to visit out of the school holidays. Hilary runs a very happy, relaxed ship and is always ready to help e.g. contact doctor if necessary. The little bar under the trees is open again in the evenings making an after-dinner drink a must! The pool area is beautiful and well-served by the bar-staff, the pool-side toilets are particularly well-appointed with showers, baby-changing facilities and automatic lighting. Although the hotel is B&B, lovely food is always available on request from the bar and the breakfast is excellent! There are several restaurants and a couple of bars within strolling distance, as well as car-hire and bus stops into Zakynthos town. St.Nicholas's beach and water sports are just around the corner, as are Vrahos and Plaka beaches. The standard bedrooms could use a bit of updating but the views over the pine trees and the gardens make up for it. We have already booked for 2024.

Excellent hotel, staff go out of their way to give you the best experience, breakfast has everything that you could want with hot and cold available, all delicious. Great service at the bar from yianni, will return in a heart beat, a real family hotel, close to beach with plenty of tavernas within walking distance, book you won’t be disappointed

Just home from our second visit this year to this amazing hotel. We have been staying here for many years and the friendly welcome and first class service is unbeatable ! Stunning location between two beautiful beaches, comfortable and clean rooms, plentiful breakfast, spotlessly clean pool and pretty gardens.
