The hotel is very well located and easy to access from the shuttle station on foot with suitcases. Our room had a terrific view of the Matterhorn.
The staff were very courteous and the included breakfast was sufficient.
The air conditioning lacked power to cool the room in the heat of summer but it was better than no A.C at all.
Would return to the same hotel in the future.

We loved the hotel. The room was amazing, with views of the Matterhorn and staff were always helpful. I would have given a 5 star rating, however, some of the blinds and windows were broken and the room was advertised as the Sky and Stars suite, yet some roof windows wouldn't open and were clearly broken and some of the roof blinds were either missing or broken and unable to open, one of them directly above the main bed.

I wanted to love this hotel, but found it to be very awkward and in need of a deep clean and paint job, It is very quirky (which I think is part of the appeal) and was confused by the theme. The kitchen in our sweet was kind of dirty and the shower needed a deep clean. The walls are scuffed and you can tell that the people who stay here "use it hard". The air conditioning was very ineffective with the roof being made out of glass. The front desk staff was not very informative as to area hiking and the like. The man who checked us in was very nice and there was a woman at breakfast every morning (Martha or Marcia) who was the best employee/most helpful that we encountered. More helpful than the front desk. I would choose another place to stay should I visit again.

Wir verbrachten drei Nächte in diesem Haus. Unser Zimmer war einfach traumhaft. Unkonventionell und mit liebe zum Detail hat Architekt Julen hier gewütet. Ich hätte mir sehr gerne all die anderen Zimmer noch angesehen. Nebst der sehr spannenden Architektur funktioniert sogar beinahe alles perfekt. Einzig die Nasszellen. Zwar schön anzusehen, jedoch sehr klein und in unserem Fall halt nicht wirklich ein stilles Örtchen. Die Türe lässt sich nicht geräusch- und geruchsdicht schliessen was uns doch ziemlich störte. Das Personal war stets sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Auch der SPA-Bereich unterscheidet sich von bekannten Lösungen und besticht durch seine Originalität. Ich kann mir vorstellen, dass dieser Bereich nicht bei allen Gästen nur gut ankommt. Wir mochten ihn (auch wenn uns das dauernde Handy-Geknippse von Influencerinnen im Pool mit der Zeit mächtig nervte) Das Frühstück war einfach nur genial. Hier gibt es auch nach langem Suchen absolut nichts zu bemängeln. Ebenfalls der Raum mit dem schönen Kamin in dem man dieses geniessen kann. Das Restaurant war leider geschlossen. Bei einem nächsten Besuch werde ich dieses dann ebenfalls gerne testen.

Nice hotel but could be better with some friendliness. Felt like the staff was not too friendly. There was no laundry papers to write on or even bags to put the laundry. The staff didn’t smile at us which was weird because we have been to manyyyy countries and swiss people might just be the LEAST friendliest people we have come across 😅 beautiful hotel with beautiful view of matterhorn but i think it should be complemented with friendliness and warmth of their people, which they lack. Hotel hospitality everywhere else in Asia or even other parts of Europe are well known for their excellent and outstanding hospitality which I think Switzerland should learn a thing or two from.
