The room is bright and tidy, clean and sanitary, with complete facilities. The underground parking lot is spacious and easy to park. There is Qin Da Ma Restaurant and another breakfast shop next to the hotel. It is very convenient for dinner and breakfast. Zhangjiajie snacks were also given when checking out. It is a very cost-effective hotel.

The room is quite big. When I checked in, I asked for a room not close to the main road. After entering, the air conditioner was a bit noisy. The waiter Lai directly changed the room for me. The sanitation was not bad, but there were no disposable slippers. It was very convenient for shopping and eating. It's very convenient in the downtown area

Good location as it’s just across the cable car station. Lotsa eateries nearby. Nice and spacious room. Good breakfast spread. Excellent customer service especially Xiao Ching who was friendly and helpful. She also kept in touch with us to check if we require any assistance. We were checked in early at 10am and they also accommodated our late check out at 2 pm. Highly recommended

I booked this hotel for my mom since my husband and I stayed there a few years ago and had an amazing experience. However, she said that no one would speak to her in any English (when we were there, everyone was very helpful and the manager was foreign). She also had a bad experience with a massage she booked. She thought she could charge it to the room, but the woman demanded cash, then once she paid, wouldn’t let her out of the room until she gave an extra tip. Apparently that was the only word she said in English the whole time. I’ve never been expected to tip in China, so this seems like they’re taking advantage of foreign guests who may not know better. The hotel is very conveniently located within walking distance of the national park, but the concierge tried to get her to take a taxi for way too much to a different gate. Luckily, she called me to ask if that was worth it and I told her, “no, don’t take a ¥50 taxi to another gate when you’re less than 1km from one of the main gates.” It just made her start to feel uncomfortable that everyone in the hotel was trying to trick her. It’s a shame because the hotel is lovely and the breakfast is actually quite good, which my mom said is still the case. But she had a very mixed experience where the hotel was great, but the staff didn’t make her feel well taken care of. Very different from my husband’s and my experience a few years ago.

The hotel is in an excellent location, very close to Tinamen Mountain cable car (10 minute walk), and close to many restaurants. We got a room upgrade to a very big, comfortable and clean room. The breakfast is excellent, delicious traditional chinese cuisine. The hotel haas a travel agency (where we booked tickets to the national park saving us the lines), money exchange service and several grocery stores. Overall everything was good except for a very unpleasant interaction with the staff. We had an early train in the morning and we asked at the front desk to help us book a taxi in advance. The entire staff, none of them speaks english obviously, 5 people started to make fun of us in chinese for several minutes, eventually telling us to to catch a taxi on the road at 5 in the morning. What is so funny about asking the hotel staff to call a taxi? It was very humiliating, this hotel clearly does not care for its foreign guests. I've stayed in several hotels in China, never have I experienced anything similar. Additionaly, since we checked out before breakfast the hotel refused to provide us with any appropriate compensation, offering us a bottle of water and a piece of bread. Cannot recommend this hotel.

Incredible hotel! Maybe the best I've ever stayed in, definitely the best I've been to in China. I usually stay in cheaper hotels though, so I'm not someone who has much experience with more luxurious hotels. That being said, the room was spacious, comfortable, and clean. I loved the balcony overlooking the river. The breakfast was nice, I was happy with the laundry room, and the staff were very friendly. I would caution on two things: 1. there are regular helicopter tours over the river that are quite loud 2. the bridge to the main part of the town and the park gate is a bit of a walk, but you can also cross via stepping stones over the river which are much closer but not as accessible.
