Room is super clean. Hosts are very friendly, polite and super helpful. Upon checkin, the host provided us with the map and explained patiently on how to cover the places of interest in Zhangjiajie. They make sure your stay with them is comfortable and feel at home. We have never felt so relaxed chatting and drinking their specially brewed tea together with the hosts. This minsu is near to the eating street and many restaurants. Also, this stay is walking distance to 东门. Super convenient!! Not to forget, the housekeeping auntie is also friendly and polite. The room has an outside window, and there is another building opposite. However, we basically don't look out the window after we come back from the mountain, so it is acceptable to us. For the route to visit Wulingyuan, you can consult the boss, there is a map. The boss's nephew Xiaoman and the boss's daughter gave us good suggestions and gave reasonable modification plans as we modified our itinerary, and they answered all questions. 👍👍👍 If you buy tickets for the small train or tickets or tickets with three ropes and one elevator, you can ask the boss to buy them after booking a room, which will be cheaper. Before leaving, the boss's wife suggested that we take a taxi to the West Station, which is great. I originally thought that I had to go to the bus station to take a bus to the West Station, and this kind of place might not be as convenient as a big city. In fact, calling Didi is fast and cheap, mainly because there are three people with luggage, and taking a taxi is comfortable and convenient. The lady boss is also learning from the previous guests, and then teaching the good experience to the later guests. 👍👍👍 There is a rice noodle shop in Cili nearby, and we had breakfast there and went to the East Gate on the way. We had breakfast there for a few days. It was well rated on Dianping.com. It was indeed cheap and good quality, with many styles and large quantities. The lady boss was also warm and thoughtful. There are so many things around Nanmen and Huangshizhai, much more than Tianzi Mountain and Yuanjiajie. Pay attention to safety when visiting. I like Tianzi Mountain very much, but it was a pity that it was foggy most of the time during the visit, Shentang Bay was full of fog, and Dianjiangtai was not visited because my parents were tired, which was a pity. But after getting off the bus at Shentang Bay, it was not easy to get a ride later. Some drivers would not stop when their cars were full. We waited for two or three cars before the driver stopped the car. After getting on the car, we arrived at Helong Park in three to five minutes.

If you are reading this, straightaway make your booking. You will not regret it because this is the best accommodation in Wulingyuan. 1. Superb location. Stone’s throw to the Eastern Gate of the National Park. Also near and walkable to Bus Station and supermarket. Yet, at night the ambience is very quiet and peaceful. 2. The room is spacious and very clean. The bathroom also very spacious and clean. The bed is super comfortable. I really have deep sleep to rest my body after exploring the national park. 3. The host is really kind n helpful. He will assist you on everything and u will feel at home away from home. I stay there for 3 nights. She assist me to design my 3 days itinerary exploring the National Park. The park is quite complicated. I just follow the suggested route and feel very happy to do that. I really have a very good quality of exploring Zhangjiajie National Park.

Not only that, she also volunteered to pay on my behalf first when booking tickets to various attractions site. She is responsive and can be reached anytime of the day and night from WeChat. Bed was comfortable and great. Hostel was just next to the East entrance to the park, which is very convenient for reaching early to avoid tour groups. Owner is very helpful and friendly. He can help get tickets with a discount and provide instructions to the complicated park. Close to many food options as well, which give a small discount when you show your room card. Highly recommended if you're a smart traveller who wants to maximise your time in the park efficiently.

I went to Zhangjiajie Forest Park and compared many hotels. Finally, I booked and chose this hotel on Ctrip. It is very cost-effective. It takes only one or two minutes to get to the scenic spot by taxi for about 5 yuan. I booked it early at the beginning, and the price fluctuated a little. Later, I called the front desk and the lady was very enthusiastic to help upgrade it to a family room for free, with a 2-meter bed and a 1.35-meter small bed. Breakfast for the children was also given. The room is large, clean and tidy, but the TV is a bit old and can't be projected, which is a bit regrettable.

When we checked in to the inn, it was the Mid-Autumn Festival. The proprietress was very considerate and prepared moon cakes. Although they were not worth much, they felt very good. The candies at the front desk were also very delicious. We booked a balcony room, which was not bad. It was close to the road. When we checked in, the proprietress also told us that if we had a light sleep, the front desk also provided disposable earplugs. Hahaha, it was not bad to stay for one night. It was close to the street at any time and not noisy at night. In the morning, I took the map and recommended route given by the proprietress and walked directly to the forest park. The breakfast introduced was also good. It is worth recommending. The room was clean, large and comfortable.

Been travelling multiple cities in China, this is the best hotel I've stayed so far, excellent service provided by all hotel staffs, polite, kind, helping all guests arrange their trips for free (if needed), provide suggestions of local food and must sees, hotel is super clean, room has great view, I will say the best thing I experienced in Zhangjiajie is staying at this hotel, I like this hotel more than the nature in here Great work team, hope all the best to you all

It is a small hotel. They provide a limited number of food to order for breakfast. Almost like a bed-and-breakfast place. Overall, it was a nice place to stay as long as you do not need their transportation service. The driver charged 120 CNY to the airport. The owner decided to send us instead of the driver. When we arrived at the airport, he charged 200 CNY. This hotel is about a 5-minute drive / 35 minutes walk to the entrance to the Zhangjiajie's Avatar / floating mountains. It is about 50 minute drive from the Tianmen Heaven's Gate. I recommend staying at the Zhangjiajiw's center (10-15 minutes drive to Tianmen Heaven's Gate). Pros: A bidet is available in the bathroom. The decor is lovely. The location is convenient to the main road with restaurants and many other stores. Cons: There was no place to hang the used towel if you plan to use it again. There is no place to put soap in the bathroom other than on the window sill. Also, it only gives one small bottle of soap to use for the sink and the shower. It has mosquitoes in the room. If you need to use the bathtub, please make sure to clean it yourself again before use. It was not very clean. No English-speaking staff.

I did a last minute decision not knowing how to figure out what to do in zhanjiajie, and how to go about touristic sites as all tours were booked way in advance. Nevertheless, The ‘housekeeper’ or so as it translates on WeChat was an impeccable host. Didn’t speak English but the communication was prompt , precise and arranged my whole trip: schedules, guides etc . It was a one stop shop for me as he also kept the accounts books. The hotel is a cute one and there’s good taste in furniture and parts are under construction, even though it looks neat and tidy as is. It’s in the centre of town and all tourist sites are easy access. And didi is readily available unlike other far off resorts.
