The location is great if you are looking to save some money from getting cable cars or elevators to the upper level. The only issue is if you come in winter expect it to be very cold. The ac in the room was not enough to keep you warm making it very uncomfortable. Not much amenities in the area - just a few small grocery stores and small restaurants just to make it through. North gate entrance is 5 mins walk away. We recommend understanding how the park works well before planning your visit.

Close to the North Gate, the owner provides pick-up service, suitable for in-depth tours. The proprietress’s cooking is delicious. If you order in advance, you can enjoy hot meals as soon as you get down the mountain. In winter, the temperature in the mountains is low due to the high altitude. The air conditioner has low power and the room temperature cannot be raised. I hope the boss can find a way to improve it.

Exceptional service from the whole family, very good food and breakfast, and the location couldn't be better, just 700 meters from one of the gates of Zhangjiajie Park (in my opinion, the best access since fewer people enter through here). In addition, we were able to arrange with them the transport to and from the airport, and they also offered to make the reservation for Tianmen Mountain and Zhangjiajie Park. In short, a 10!!
