Zhangjiakou Hotels with Free Breakfast

We had a wonderful stay and enjoyed skiing. The slopes are well prepared and easy to ski. We enjoyed CNY at the hotel and also the F&B Arrangement did meet our expectations - even though we are European. I would like to mention that the staff was very helpful - especially Hannah (Front office) and also both the F &B Manager and Housekeeping Manager made sure we were well looked after and all three spoke very good English. Thank you very much and we will visit again.

First of all, I must praise the hotel's unbeatable scenery. Each room has a large terrace facing the perfect forest. Just sit or lie down and relax without thinking about anything. This is the greatest respect for the forest. You can pick mushrooms in the opposite woods, but they are basically inedible. There is a great iron flower performance every day in the area, which is also highly recommended. The other rooms, services, and breakfast are OK, worthy of the price. Will come again!

I can imagine that they have had the hardware ready for the Beijing Olympics back in 2022; but it was surprising how fast things now feel ”worn”. That's really too bad. Towers can still have the smell of tard from cigarettes which again is too bad. Meanwhile, it's a nice touch to also give lift tickets but the fact that you need to have the front desk signed voucher to go over to the ski school next desk (not next door) to provide the ticket card is a bit weird and troublesome for customers. Yes, I get it, it's really two organizations and the vouchers are the controls/ receipts. But you can actually get the ticket card deposit refund all done at the front desk means that the systems are connected. Hence, the logistics is not really set up with the customer experience in mind which is really a shame. Enough with the areas which can potentially enhance above. Here are the brilliant parts and the reason why you may want to come back to the hotel. It's the people. We were bothered by the logistics (as you can see) and during breakfast time, we also hear there is another family bothered by some hardware issue the night before; but the staff really took seriousness in resolving the problems. In addition, my wife was sick in one of the nights; congee was not on the lunch and dinner manual, but the staff and cook were willing to trouble themselves to make the congee (and I can tell you that I have been at 5 stars hotels before and when they say no congee on the manual -- those hotels will just stick with that answer) --＞ in this AI-driven, RPA-strived and customer centric-talking atmosphere nowadays, it's refreshing if not heart-felt to really experience hotel staff who show care for its customers. This is where the Excellent rating for Service comes from. Keep up the human-side of the hospitality business --＞ it's always about the people and how your guests feel they are treated, that's how you make them come back and make a profit --＞ not robotics ! I don't like to waste time writing reviews (but I am a writer in earlier years), and I am having a soar throat. But I would recommend to hotel to any guests who wants to feel being being taken care of.

Good stay. Trainee Shirley was particularly helpful. Some noisy dogs overnight, but that's the owner's fault, not the hotel's.

The hotel is clean and comfortable, the service attitude is good, the entertainment activities are rich, and I have a lot of fun. We chose this hotel since we wanted to go on staycation and this isn't too far from Thaiwoo Ski Resort. We arrived at about 7pm in the hotel and the parking lot was full but some cars were parking beside the hotel's entrance so we just followed them and parked too. We thought it was alright since nobody told us not to. But the next day early in the morning they called us to move our car because it doesn't look good for their hotel and since we aren't morning people we were kinda pissed. They could have told us last night. Although; this thing happened to us, we still think the hotel is nice for staying. Great rooms.

The location of the hotel is very good. You can walk to Fulong Four Seasons Town in about 10 minutes, eliminating the trouble of parking. Eating in town is very convenient and tastes good. The room facilities and hardware are great and worthy of four-star standards, but the accessories are a bit missing and need to be delivered soon. When my son got off the kid's bed and there was cat hair on his butt, the front desk said they don't allow pets. I questioned it and had to lay down the sheets myself, which would deduct points. Tucao Hot Spring has only 1 large and 4 small underground rooms. It’s too small. It’s not equivalent to the 88 tickets. If you check in, it’s free. It’s acceptable. But the room fee of more than 1,000 yuan only includes 2 tickets. I paid for 2 tickets at my own expense. It is simply too bad. The breakfast can only be said to be average and not outstanding.

The room has one bedroom and one living room, which is very comfortable. The high floor can see the mountain from north to south. This time, two adults and two children, one child was given various experiences for free. Breakfast is in Shuanglong, which is very rich and varied, and can be called a five-star hotel. The tour package was used up after a day and an afternoon. The children loved the jungle crossing. I felt that the hotel really provided a high-quality parent-child experience. For the morning hiking project, we found that we were the only family when we gathered. The coach led us to the small forest cross-country route. It was quiet and cool, and the slope was a bit busy and difficult. The experience was great. We left the hotel from Monday to Tuesday. There were very few people. There was no queue for all projects. Even the cable car was out of service for an hour or so. We really felt like we had booked the whole place when we went up and down the mountain. It really felt like a vacation. Looking around at the top of Honghualiang, Zhangjiakou’s beautiful rivers and mountains are full of windmills. It’s really beautiful.

The hotel is ideally situated in a prime location, making it easy to reach and navigate. From the moment we arrived, we were struck by its stunning beauty and elegant decor. The check-in process was very smooth. They even offer self check-in. After we arrived to our room we received a welcome plate of fruit and yogurt. The room we stayed in was a masterpiece of design, meticulously decorated with a keen eye for detail, and the cleanliness maintained by the staff was impeccable. We thoroughly enjoyed the buffet breakfast, which offered an impressive variety of dishes, including both Western and Chinese cuisines. The area surrounding the hotel boasts breathtaking views of the river, adding to the overall charm of our stay. The only thing missing is a swimming pool. The other amenities are very nice.

The hotel is still very good overall! Whether it is facilities or service attitude, it is impeccable! The mountain view room also has a balcony, you can eat hot pot by yourself, and the room also has a microwave, refrigerator, etc.! Because there are few people in the off-season, breakfast can only provide a set meal. Although it is very exquisite, it does not feel worth so much money! The second is the evening activities. It was previously introduced that there would be iron flowers and bonfire parties on Fridays and weekends. We arrived on Saturday, September 14th, but there were no programs in the evening. It rained again on the night of the 15th, so we didn’t go out to see it…………
