"Overall, we had a very pleasant stay at The Gaia Hotel Bandung. The room was very clean, the staff were friendly and provided excellent service, and I think the overall quality of the hotel is well worth the price. The facilities and complimentary benefits provided by the hotel were also excellent. I also really appreciated the complimentary birthday cake provided during our stay. It was a thoughtful gesture and made the experience more memorable for us. The only part that I felt did not quite match the standard of a 5-star hotel was the breakfast. The selection was not as extensive as I expected. Even some common breakfast options such as fried rice and fried noodles were not available during our breakfast. The coffee selection was also surprisingly limited. There were no options such as latte or cappuccino, and only instant creamer was provided on the table. For a hotel of this level, I expected a better coffee experience and a wider breakfast selection. Other than the breakfast, everything was excellent."

"The service here is not satisfying. On my first day, my room was not cleaned at all, even though I clearly hung the housekeeping tag on the door. The next morning, I explicitly asked the receptionist to have my room cleaned before I went out. They told me it was too early for the housekeeping crew but assured me they would clean it as soon as they were available. However, when I returned to the hotel around 3 PM, my room was still untouched! On the bright side, the breakfast food is okay, and they serve delicious kwey tiao. The location is also good, there is a cheap, 24-hour self-service laundromat nearby, and plenty of street food vendors nearby serving great food."

"Delicious breakfast with a great variety of choices. The breakfast was absolutely delicious and had plenty of options. Amazing hotel with great service, clean rooms, and a comfortable atmosphere.  Thank you so much for the lovely anniversary wishes and the complimentary cake. "we booked an executive suite, they gave us a room on the 11th floor. it has a good view, but the moment we turned on the jacuzzi to use it, it smelled like sewerage and it flushed so much dirt, and the shower wasnt hot enough. we asked to change the room, and they gave us a room on the 7th floor near by the kids pool, where you dont need an alarm because kids will wake you up by 7 Am. the breakfast has a good variety, but the plates arent always clean. The hotel has an amazing view, and its near by the events. its 3hrs away from the airport. حجزنا اكسكيوتف سوت وعطونا غرفة فالطابق ١١، بس اول ما شغلنا الجاكوزي طلعت ريحة مجاري، وصار يطلع أوصاخ! غيرولنا الغرفة للطابق ٧ قريب مسبح الأطفال، وما احتجنا منبه لان الاطفال ينهضونا يوميا الساعه ٧ الصبح بازعاجهم. ايضًا ستائر الحمام فيها عفن، مما يعني قلة النظافة فالفندق. الفطور جيد، بس الصحون غير نظيفة كفايه. الفندق قريب من معظم الفعاليات ويطل على مناظر جميلة جدًا. يبعد عن المطار قرابة ٣ ساعات ونصف. يناسب العوائل."

"We had another wonderful stay at Mason Pine, and once again, it did not disappoint! This has definitely become our family’s go-to hotel whenever we want a comfortable and hassle-free getaway. 🙏🏼 We took the Whoosh from Jakarta, and Mason Pine’s free shuttle service picked us up directly from the station and took us to the hotel in only around 15 minutes. The return transfer was just as smooth and convenient. One of the things we love most about Mason Pine is how many family-friendly facilities they have, and they’re not just for show—they’re all active and enjoyable for the kids. The swimming pool is HUGE, and the kids’ pool is also incredibly spacious, complete with a fun slide that the kids absolutely loved! The food selection was varied and delicious, and the service throughout the hotel was spot on. Every staff member was so friendly, warm, and helpful, which made our stay even more enjoyable. We also really appreciate the convenience of the location. There are several cafés and a supermarket just across the street, so sometimes we’d order GoFood, grab some drinks, or simply enjoy coffee and snacks at one of the cafés across from the hotel. It makes the whole stay feel very comfortable and easy, especially when traveling with family. A special thank you to Mas Nova, who took care of our transfer back to the Whoosh. We unexpectedly had to change our return ticket to an earlier time, but the team was incredibly accommodating. We were still taken to the station immediately after check-out without having to wait around or deal with any hassle. Everything was handled so smoothly! Thank you so much, Mas Nova, and to all the wonderful staff at Mason Pine for always taking such great care of us. Mason Pine is definitely our family’s go-to hotel. We always feel comfortable here, and we’ll definitely be back again! 🙏🏼"

"The sliding bathroom door is made of aluminum, so it's noisy. Check-in took forever, super slow and drawn out. If there's a request made during booking, it should be addressed. Don't wait until arrival to give a bunch of excuses. Got a room way, way in the back, but that's just how the hotel is designed. Check-out also involved a long wait... Maybe they're afraid the TV will go missing, lol."

"We stayed 4 nights as a family with two children. Overall: an excellent family resort with genuinely outstanding staff — the friendliness was consistent everywhere we went, from check-in to restaurants to the spa, across the entire stay. Check-in & room: Check-in was long but handled in a friendly manner. Executive Suite 7501 is very spacious with a large bathroom and a very large balcony. Ideal layout for a family of four. Pools: Very large swimming pools with separate areas for kids and adults — this separation worked well for us. Damar Restaurant: We ate here for the Saturday ”Surf & Sear Live Robata Night” and daily breakfast. The dinner buffet is the widest I have seen in a hotel — huge variety, delicious and freshly cooked, in a cozy atmosphere with very attentive staff who helped us in every way. Kids ate free at the themed night (printed on the bill), drinks were included in the buffet price (iced tea, cold brew, iced latte, ginger fizz), and the ALL Accor membership 10% F&B discount was honored. One honest caveat: the advertised live robata grilling counter was absent our night because the restaurant was hosting a wedding, so it was effectively buffet-only and busy — if you're booking specifically for the live-grill experience, confirm no private event is scheduled. Breakfast (also at Damar): wide variety, same friendly staff, but very crowded on Sunday morning — noticeably calmer on weekdays. The resort clearly runs at full capacity on weekends with the Jakarta crowd. Mad Cow (steakhouse, Level 6): Quiet, relaxed atmosphere on our Sunday visit. Steaks are grilled on an open station, staff were very friendly and helped us choose. Fresh juices were good. Note it's a premium-priced venue — imported Australian 450g cuts at steakhouse prices — and alcohol-free per local regulations (mocktails and juices only). Spa: Very clean and relaxing. We took two treatments — a 90-minute Traditional Balinese massage and a 60-minute Deep Tissue — both excellent. Padi Pool & Bar: Good mocktail selection for a pool day. Practical notes: the resort suits families exceptionally well; GrabFood delivers to the lobby if you want variety; folio can be pre-settled the evening before an early checkout, which made our 06:30 departure effortless; roughly 2 hours from CGK airport (use the Kunciran toll route to avoid Jakarta traffic). Verdict: The staff make this resort — every single venue, every single day. We'd return."

"The hotel's location is excellent, very close to the Woosh station. When I arrived, the hotel had only been open for a month, so the paint smell was quite strong. However, the cleanliness was impeccable, and the staff were incredibly friendly. I was even given my key before the official check-in time (early check-in). There are a couple of things to note: firstly, the hotel entrance sign wasn't installed yet (there was no sign at the gate). Secondly, regarding breakfast: I was informed that if there are fewer than 20 guests, there's no buffet (previously it was 30 people, now it's a minimum of 20). Also, breakfast is supposed to offer both Asian and Western options, but currently, only Asian is available."
