We stayed in Jiadenyu the night before. Set off for Kanas early the next morning. Driving from Jiadenyu to Kanas takes about 30 minutes or less. We arrived at the scenic area entrance around 10 AM. The staff informed us that they were still clearing snow inside the park. After waiting about 10 minutes, they let us in. The staff checked our ID cards before allowing entry. 🦔Tour order: Wolong Bay — Moon Bay — Fairy Bay — Kanas Lake Just keep driving along the road; the roads in the scenic area are quite easy to drive on. Moon Bay and Kanas Lake are very photogenic! It’s recommended to reserve more time for Kanas Lake. You need to park your car in the parking lot and then walk into Kanas Lake! You can walk around the lake along the wooden boardwalk to return directly to the parking lot, or choose to walk halfway around the lake and then return the same way. The weather was very cold, so bring full cold-weather gear. We even saw a little fox at Kanas Lake!! There are also small wooden cabins for accommodation and places to eat inside the Kanas scenic area. If you stay inside the Kanas scenic area, you can get up early to explore the next day. Eating in Kanas is relatively more expensive than in Jiadenyu. 🥢Recommended in Jiadenyu: [Jiang Shang Xian Restaurant] Incredibly delicious!!! Highly recommend the thin-skinned buns 🍞, fried rice noodles (beef), lamb skewers 🍖, lamb chops 🍗, and baked naan 🥯. Every bite was so good, no words needed!!! After trying food in Hemu, Altay, and Kanas, this feels like the No.1 restaurant, hahaha.
