DAY 4: Hemu - Kanas, Kanas Lake

Depart for Kanas at noon. Near Kanas, the driver reminded us of a scenic viewpoint (p3). Both Sanwan and this viewpoint were in the shadows (p2). It is recommended to visit in the morning if you want to enjoy the views. We didn’t stay long at Wolong Bay and Moon Bay as originally planned. Following the advice of the homestay host, we went to Kanas Lake. In winter, you can go onto the lake surface, but everyone must be very careful not to go near the center of the lake or the water’s edge. There are stairs to the lakeside, and you should bring crampons. (We saw several people fall again.) There is a photo service at Kanas Lake, 30 yuan per photo. We caught the blue hour (p7-p11). The little kitten at the Kanas homestay is so soft and cute.
