We changed to another hotel closer to the west gate, planning to climb the city wall after dinner no matter what. In the evening, we arrived at the west gate of the Datong Ancient City. You can enter by scanning a QR code for a reservation. Climbing up the high 70 steps, looking around, the afterglow of the sunset on the ancient city wall made it look beautiful and spectacular. For a visit, you can rent electric cars or bicycles, which are very convenient. He said renting a tandem bicycle would still mean I had to ride alone, which is too tiring.
