FINALLY, I GOT TO TRY THE NASI LEMAK ORIGINALLY FROM SINGAPORE

Finally, I got to try the nasi lemak originally from Singapore. The place looks like it has two floors from the front. When I went there, the second floor was reserved, so it was a bit inconvenient to pass through. The menu is actually simple just nasi lemak but what makes it diverse are the variety of side dishes like fried chicken, chicken cutlet, fish, and shrimp. You can also customize it, and there are set menus available too. I ended up choosing the one with chicken cutlet, which is their newest menu item. It came with nasi lemak, chicken cutlet, anchovies, cucumber, and chili sambal. The rice had a fragrant coconut aroma, almost like eating coconut sticky rice but made with rice. The chicken cutlet wasn't too big but juicy and not bland. The coating was thin but crispy. There was a kind of brown sauce, probably the chili sambal, but not spicy it tasted good, likely made with dried shrimp for a savory touch. I also added chicken luncheon. For my drink, I ordered my all-time favorite, barley. Whenever barley is available, I always order it.
