THERE'S A NEW STARBUCKS COFFEE IN EAST JAKARTA

There's a new Starbucks Coffee in East Jakarta that caught my eye with its building design, located in the same area as All Fresh across from La Tropica. Considering the complex's name, the building might have a Korean vibe, sorry if that sounds a bit presumptuous The place has two floors and opens early, making it convenient for those needing coffee or breakfast before work. They also have a drive-thru. The ambiance is really nice, great for working on a laptop, and it seems quiet still, not many people know about it yet. The staff are friendly and polite. Yesterday, I tried their Sakura Mochi Choux Cream, one of their new spring pastry items. Unfortunately, it didn't look as pretty as in the promotional photos—it wasn't perfectly round and was served cold. As the name suggests, it had chewy mochi inside, though I was a bit confused if it was in the choux layer or mixed in the dough. It was decent and the sweetness was just right, but I could taste a slight eggy flavor. I also ordered their spring drink, the Cocoa Cloud Macchiato but asked for it hot.
