The Nanyue King Museum was built on the original site of the Nanyue King Tomb, which was excavated in June 1983. The ticket price is CNY 10. The museum consists of the main exhibition building, the comprehensive exhibition building, and the ancient tomb protection area. One part is the original site of the Nanyue King Tomb, where you can see the remains of the tomb in the shape of the Chinese character "士" (shi). One part is the exhibition of the relics unearthed from the Nanyue King Tomb, including a jade burial suit sewn with silk thread, which is the most complete Han Dynasty jade burial suit discovered in China so far, with exquisite craftsmanship. There is a dragon and phoenix pattern jade pendant, carved from blue-white jade, reflecting the artistic level of the Nanyue Dynasty. There is a gold seal of the Emperor Wen, which is an important relic proving the identity of the tomb owner. There are also bronze tiger talismans with gold inscriptions, rhinoceros horn-shaped jade cups, and other relics with high historical and artistic value.
