I was so touched! Right after I got off the high-speed train, the inn owner was already waiting for me by the roadside in his car. Since cars can't enter the ancient city gate, the owner switched to an electric scooter and continued to take me to the inn, free of charge. The proprietress helped me carry my luggage to the second floor, which I felt really bad about, but was deeply moved by! I absolutely love the style of this room. After check-in, the proprietress grabbed a map and meticulously explained tips for exploring Pingyao Ancient City and important details to note, making everything very clear. I love Shanxi; I felt such attentive care here. When it was time to leave, the owner offered to drive me to the high-speed train station again. I felt embarrassed and decided to leave early and take a taxi to the station myself, then informed the owner via WeChat. He immediately asked if I had gotten into the car yet, offering to drive me if I hadn't. Oh, I was so moved! I told him I had really gotten into a car and didn't need him to drive, wishing his business prosperity and continued success! For anyone planning a trip to Pingyao Ancient City, choose this place; it's very reliable, you won't go wrong!

Cosy historical building done up very nicely. Room was well renovated, owner super friendly and very accommodating, we asked for more water, toilet paper, different type of breakfast etc all happy to oblige. 10 minutes walk to light show, 10m walk to center of ancient city where most of the historical sites were. 10m walk to outside where the best food is..DO NOT eat inside the old city, food outside much better. Owner also arranged for car to take us to Wang Family compound and Shuanglian temple at much better price than I could find anywhere online. and private transfer to/from train station as well. Very happy I booked to stay at this location. Breakfast was EXCELLENT

I chose Nan She for both of my trips to Datong, spaced about twenty days apart. The first time was by chance, but the second was a deliberate choice, both reflecting my high appreciation for every aspect of Nan She. It's located right beneath the North City Wall of the ancient city, close to Daiwang Mansion and Kuixing Tower. Its proximity to the main road makes getting around very convenient. The entrance to the North City Wall is just a few minutes' walk away, offering a superb spot to watch the sunset over the ancient city. The breakfast at the guesthouse is absolutely delicious. The rooms are spotless, and the bedding is clean; every detail is perfectly executed. The overall service is beyond words – attentive, warm, and thoughtful. Choosing the right accommodation is a crucial part of enhancing the travel experience, and both of my stays here provided an excellent one. Datong is a city you'll want to revisit; the more you get to know it, the more you'll love it. The blend of history and modernity, delicious food, and beautiful scenery offers endless appeal. This inn is located right in the heart of the ancient city, making it incredibly convenient for sightseeing and getting around. It's just a stone's throw away from major attractions like the County Government Office, the city walls, the Escort Agency, the Exchange House, and Xietongqing. Step right outside and you'll find a street full of delicious food, creative cultural shops, and bars. Despite being so central, it's very quiet at night. The rooms are well-equipped, and the price is very reasonable. Highly recommended!

The rooms are fully equipped, even featuring a mini-fridge stocked with complimentary bottled water, Sprite, Coke, bananas, apples, tea, coffee, paper cups, and disposable face towels. A tea set is also provided, adding a cozy, home-like touch. The courtyard is adorned with lush greenery, seating, and picturesque landscaping, ideal for sunbathing. At night, it transforms with brilliant lights, creating a unique and enchanting ambiance. It's about a 10-minute walk from the ancient city's North Gate parking lot, with dedicated staff available to assist with luggage. Surrounded by numerous shops, it offers incredible convenience for shopping, dining, and sightseeing. The staff are warm, friendly, and provide excellent service. Overall, it's a fantastic guesthouse within the ancient city.

A really comfortable B&B! The facilities are all brand new, and the bedding and toiletries are excellent. The room layout is well-designed, and the soundproofing is quite good. Being able to enjoy a nice hot shower and a good night's sleep when you're away from home is truly priceless. The breakfast was delicious too, and the owner even surprised us with a wonderful freshly ground coffee! All the other services were very thoughtful, making us truly feel at home. The location is also fantastic, just behind the bustling Nanda Street, offering a quiet retreat in a lively area. Highly recommend!

I've been to Xinzhou Ancient City a few times, and I genuinely feel that Futian Yuhua Hotel is the absolute best hotel here. The rooms are spotless, they deliver fresh fruit daily, and the beds are incredibly comfortable. The private hot spring bath experience was fantastic, and there was a constant supply of complimentary drinks every day. From the moment you step through the main entrance, you notice the incredible attention to detail – it's clear the owner has excellent taste. From the moment I called about parking, a butler was already waiting at the entrance. The service was warm and thoughtful. When leaving, they even reminded me to take a complimentary bottle of water and offered tissues, showing how much they genuinely care for their guests. On the day of check-in, I couldn't figure out the stopper for the hot spring pool, but after a quick call, someone came to help within less than a minute. I'll definitely be bringing my family back to stay here again in the future and will highly recommend it to my friends.

The hotel is next to Taishan Temple, the ancient city is c, and the Taishan Temple Snack Street is out. The room is very new, the outdoor pool is very fast, the room is very intelligent, the staff service is first-class, the lobby fruit and coffee are free. The car is parked in the surrounding parking lot, and the battery car can be picked up and dropped off.

The room space is open and bright, the facilities are maintained in place, the sanitation is meticulous and there are no dead ends, the wet and dry separation bathroom is clean and refreshing, and the high-quality bedding is matched with a quiet environment, which can completely remove the fatigue of the journey. The service was warm and thoughtful throughout the whole process, the front desk handled the procedures efficiently, the staff took the initiative to say hello, responded to the needs in a timely manner, and recommended local play guides intimately. The breakfast buffet is fresh and complete, taking into account a variety of tastes, fitness, parking and other supporting facilities are complete and convenient. From hardware quality to soft service, the brand level is fully demonstrated, and the living is comfortable and at ease, highly recommended!

The location is right by the ancient city gate. You can park your car directly at the gate and walk in. This homestay is very thoughtful; they helped us book discounted tickets for 'Another Pingyao' in advance, and during our stay, they assisted with calling taxis, booking restaurants, and arranging a tour guide. When an elder accidentally fell in the room, the landlady even bought spray and plasters for them. The room was very comfortable, and the breakfast had a good variety and was delicious; they were also flexible with adding or removing items, and there was a sweet soup every day. The only minor complaint might be that the pillows were a bit too firm...
