Pet friendly Hotels in Shanxi, China

My experience staying at this hotel as below. 1. They provide pickup and drop off from the train station. The day before the Inn contacted me to make arrangement for the pickup. Then they arranged to drive me back to station on the day I leave. Service was efficient and prompt. Much appreciated. 2. I was able to use the washing machine to wash come clothes which was much needed. Comb and toiletries were provided. So grateful for these little necessities as I left mine at the previous hotel. 3. The boss upgraded me to a bigger and better room because it was the low season. The kang bed was so comfortable and firm. I had the best sleep so far at this Inn. I'm so happy. 4. The Inn is inside the old city and practically next to one of the city gates. Very convenient for sightseeing old Pingyao city. 5. Everyone very friendly and helpful. Boss also gave me a bottle of vinegar. Wish I could take it back to UK with me. 6. The price of this Inn is also very reasonable and affordable. 7. Pingyao is a beautiful, ancient old city. Worth coming. I highly recommend staying here. We had a late pickup from the train station and were very warmly welcomed. Our room was clean, spacious and very comfortable, and the next day we were even brought back to the station. The hotel is located right in the center of the old town, so all major sights and restaurants are just a short walk away. The location is perfect for exploring the historic Pingyao old town while still being able to enjoy a quiet atmosphere in the evening. We had a really great stay in Pingyao. The hosts went out of their way to be helpful and very attentive. The staff speaks English, which made communication easy and pleasant. We especially liked that breakfast was even brought to our room.

The location is absolutely fantastic, very close to the city center. When we checked in, they upgraded our room for free, and the owner even helped us with our luggage. When we left, they gave us some handmade vinegar from their shop, and also free outfits and discount vouchers for popular restaurants. It was absolutely wonderful! Since I have relatives in Pingyao, I'll definitely bring them to stay here next time.

We had a amazing time staying at this hotel. It's in an ancient house over 200 years old and it's absolutely beautiful. Like walking into a museum but still with all the facilities. It's in a brilliant location in the old city. Easy to walk to. We were picked up from the high-speed train station and taken about the 20 minutes to the outside of the the city and our cases were brought in on the electric trolley. We were given a good welcome with a map to explain where everything was and some recommendations for restaurants. Breakfast was was tasty with local produce and he shared some of his vinegar with us as well. It was all good, a comfy bed, air conditioning shower was good and the staff were really well. Welcoming and friendly. Very small but but pleasant stay.

Facilities: The design is excellent, and all the amenities are thoughtfully arranged and very practical. The bed and pillows are incredibly comfortable; lying down felt so therapeutic, and I fell asleep almost instantly. Hygiene: The hygiene was impeccable. Environment: The location is perfect, within walking distance of Daiwang Mansion, Drum Tower, and Huayan Temple. After watching the iron flower performance at night, it was just a short stroll back to bed. Service: The service was incredibly attentive and prompt. The butler recommended many delicious local eateries, and they were all indeed fantastic. The tea at the front desk was also delightful; I'd fill my thermos every time I went out – it was so comforting. They even offered a thoughtful bedtime gift, making the overall experience incredibly pleasant.

My stay at Futiandahua Rain Hot Spring Hotel was absolutely fantastic! First off, the location is superb, right inside the ancient city. It's super close to where they do the iron flower show, which, by the way, is an absolute must-see. I'm getting on in years, but watching that show brought tears to my eyes; I was so moved by the performers' dedication and the incredible spectacle they put on. It's clear the hotel owner pays incredible attention to detail. My two girlfriends and I stayed in a triple room, and from the moment we walked into the lobby, we were gushing over the hotel's ambiance, the staff, and the room's decor. Every little detail was thoughtfully done. Even when we were heading out to explore the ancient city, the front desk proactively offered us a pack of tissues to take with us. The room itself was a standalone unit, so it was incredibly quiet. They delivered coffee and afternoon tea daily, and the fruit plate in the room was fresh. There was also a cooler in the lobby with bottled water available for guests. The whole room was smart-enabled with XiaoDu (a smart assistant), and the shower had great water pressure and was very comfortable, with a separate wet and dry area. Oh, one small thing: the trash can in the bathroom was a bit too small; I hope they can improve that. The private hot spring was amazing. After a full day of sightseeing, coming back to soak in the hot spring and chat was just pure bliss.

Facilities: The room facilities matched what was advertised. Cleanliness: The room was quite clean. Environment: The accommodation was very quiet, and the room was warm. Service: The owner provided excellent service, especially the breakfast, which was delicious and highly satisfying.

I have always preferred to stay in Huazhu hotels. This time I came to the ancient city of Zhangzhou and decisively chose Huazhu luxury. It turns out that it is really the most correct decision on this trip! As a high-end line of flower building, the overall texture completely exceeds expectations. The courtyard design is elegant and quiet, quiet in the middle of noisy, and you can walk directly to the ancient city of Zhangzhou. It is especially convenient to visit the night view and eat snacks. The room hygiene is meticulous, the hardware configuration is high-end and intimate, the bedding comfort is full, the independent private soup experience is full of atmosphere, and the 24-hour hot spring water is too healing for the fatigue of the journey. The butler service is warm and thoughtful, the details are attentive, and the whole stay experience is comfortable and at ease. It is worthy of flower luxury, the quality is as reliable as ever, this is the first choice for accommodation in the ancient city of Zhangzhou, I will choose here next time, highly recommended!

This was my first time visiting Pingyao Ancient City, and this guesthouse truly deserves its five-star rating. The overall decor creates an incredible ambiance. The courtyard offers a serene and peaceful atmosphere, while the interior design is elegant and grand, exuding classical beauty at every turn! The room layout and furnishings show impeccable taste. I was very satisfied with the cleanliness; every corner was spotless, and the facilities were complete and a pleasure to use. The front desk lady and all the staff were dedicated, thoughtful, and handled everything gracefully and generously. You could feel their genuine sincerity and enthusiasm everywhere. Staying in such a comfortable place during my trip made the experience exceptionally pleasant. I highly, highly recommend it!!!

The hotel's location is excellent, very close to the snack street, Bell Tower shopping area, and Liuxiang commercial district, making shopping and dining incredibly convenient. The Jin Merchants Museum (former Governor's Mansion) is also within walking distance of the hotel. The thoughtful touches like the 'Cozy Teahouse - Afternoon Tea Time' (including a pot of tea) and the coffee were much appreciated. We also enjoyed the 'Immersive Experience: Journey through a Jin Merchant Mansion with Free Young Mistress Attire'. Plus, there's a very friendly cat named 'Facai' in the hotel lobby!
