The car park has 16 spaces but in nearly two weeks I never had a problem getting a space although it was November. There are several more spaces under the hotel itself. There are local pay car parks close by but at 400-550 yen they aren't cheap. The hotel itself is dated and could do with a refresh especially in some of the the common areas. Stained carpets, with tatty and dirty paintwork in places aren't appealing and are easy to fix. That said, my room was clean, warm and the double bed was very comfortable. Unlike some Japanese hotels the bathroom wasn't one of these plastic capsules which looks like it has been dropped into the room. However, the bathroom itself while functional was again old. The TV had only Japanese channels but there was a fridge and a denji kettle for making tea and coffee. The wi-fi functioned fine. My room was no smoking but there was a whiff of cigarette smoke in the corridor. The staff were very friendly but spoke minimal English and offered me a bottle of water or a beer on arrival which was a lovely gesture. Reading this you might be thinking it all sounds a bit grim but it's not. It is an inexpensive hotel which is a bit tired and could do with updating. The location is great and the free car park is a real draw.
