This hotel is perfect for travelers catching an early flight the next day. It's just a few minutes' walk to the departure hall, and finding the hotel is easy with clear signs guiding you from the airport arrivals. However, the facilities are a bit old. The room only has UK-style power outlets, but you can borrow an adapter for free from the front desk. Overall, it's a good stay.

It's been a while since my last visit to Hong Kong, and this time I once again chose The Ritz-Carlton, Hong Kong. I love this hotel because it's one of the tallest in the world, standing at 490 meters. I particularly enjoy swimming on the 118th floor, overlooking Victoria Harbour. I arrived at the hotel before 1 PM and met the duty manager, KON TIN. Instead of rigidly sticking to the 3 PM check-in time, she quickly arranged a room for me – room number 109-11. I won't even mention the small touches like complimentary drinks at the front desk. To my surprise, the room had a stunning view of Victoria Harbour! It had just rained, and through the glass curtain wall, the mist appeared and disappeared, with Victoria Peak faintly visible in the distance. I absolutely loved it. After so many stays, this was the first time I'd had a room with a Victoria Harbour view, which naturally put me in a fantastic mood and made my business trip go smoothly. The breakfast, as always, was exquisite. The à la carte menu had changed since my last visit, offering more variety, and everything was delicious, comfortable, and flavorful. The wide selection of breakfast options caters to tastes from all over the world.

We checked in earlier but they still need us to wait till 3 pm and it wasn’t on time , I mean the room wasn’t ready yet . As I have booked it in trip . Com and the lady receptionist said she can’t find my booking and Imseh need so much time to check my booking . Ok and I have told her I am celebrating my birthday and I need to take photo in the room and celebrate so see if she can upgrade me . I was happy she did and it was 10th floor . The view from the room was good and I took lots of birthday photos . The pool was great and relaxing. The staff was friendly and polite . The sauna was good too . I will try it again for sure .

Mixed review for an overnight stay: - I booked a large room 25+ sq m to get proper space to work - the room was clean and bathroom was clean  - the location is great walking distance to ferry to north point and Whampoa MTR station - Lots of eateries and mall nearby walking distance - the hotel has a strange policy of no tooth brush, no water in the room. For this price, this should be included and not optional. Environment is lame excuse give the extensive use of air conditioning and lighting everywhere and all the cars and taxis with engine on outside the hotel. Just saving on water bottle and toothbrush for environment is a lame excuse and. It consistent with the star rating.  - the staff are really rude - it seems HK people resent visitors and feel a grudge having to serve overseas visitors from mainland

Facilities: The room was well-maintained, and the bedding was very comfortable. Cleanliness: The housekeeping staff cleaned the room meticulously every day, and there was even a supervisor checking their work, which made me feel very secure and at ease. Service: VINOD, the Indian manager at the breakfast restaurant, truly provided five-star service; I felt completely at home. Executive Lounge Privileges: The food, drinks, and service were all excellent. Environment: The location is incredibly convenient, directly connected to Mong Kok Station and the adjacent shopping mall. It's super easy to get around. If I'm in this area again, I'll definitely choose to stay here.

To celebrate my mom's birthday a little early, I booked us into a Club 38 Seaview room at Hotel ICON. The entire check-in process was smooth, and we had a wonderful stay. About the room: The Club 38 seaview truly is spectacular. With 180-degree floor-to-ceiling windows directly facing Victoria Harbour, you can enjoy the ocean view right from your bed. During the day, you see boats coming and going, and at night, the lights of both sides of the harbour sparkle. For Hong Kong standards, the room was very spacious, with a strong design aesthetic. The complimentary mini-bar was refilled daily, which was a huge plus. About the service: I sent an email before arrival mentioning it was for a birthday celebration, and not only did the hotel confirm, but they genuinely prepared a birthday cake and a handwritten card upon check-in. Both the front desk and room service staff were very polite and incredibly responsive!

Booked a room on a weekday, and they only informed me it was ready after 4:30 PM. They couldn't give me the room before 3 PM, and the room rate was about 20% higher than on other platforms. Other platforms also offer a 2 PM checkout, but they wouldn't extend it here. I paid more for the room, got it late, and had to check out early. Are they trying to rip off loyal customers? The other amenities were just average for a five-star hotel. But the overall experience was really bad.

This hotel is located right by University Station and is a standard five-star establishment. We stayed in an executive suite, and while the decor showed its age, it was well-maintained. The bedding was clean, and the room service was excellent. The buffet on the first floor was also good. We originally stayed for two nights and then extended for an additional day. The Chinese restaurant on the 4th floor was also great, with authentic flavors and warm service, though it was a bit pricey! Our child is doing postgraduate studies at CUHK, and we had hoped to arrange a long-term stay, but the price was still too high, and we couldn't reach an agreement. However, we'll definitely stay here again in the future! The overall service quality was excellent, and both check-in and check-out were very fast! Thanks for the late check-out and the complimentary buffet! Hotel prices in Hong Kong tend to be on the higher side, so I hope your prices can become more affordable in the future!

Perhaps we booked during peak season and not too far in advance, but a twin room with breakfast for four nights cost over 9,100. The room is spacious, and the bathroom is also quite roomy. The 15th floor offers a great view. You can choose different types of pillows; I picked a memory foam pillow and a cassia seed pillow, both very comfortable. The breakfast has a good variety, but the taste is just average, nothing outstanding. The hotel elevator carpets are changed daily, which helps you remember what day it is. The hotel is very close to the sea, and even at 11 PM, many lights are still on in the sea-view rooms. The gym is on B2, and the pool is a bit small.

AAnonymous UserShangri-La's service and executive lounge food quality are consistently excellent, and this property is no exception. This was my first stay since the rooms were renovated, and I was very impressed. The staff across all departments were professional, kind, and efficient. The executive lounge offered a great variety of food and drinks, and breakfast had many options. I didn't get a chance to use the gym this time, but I'll definitely try it next time.

GGuest UserThe room was spacious and uniquely designed, very clean and tidy. I even got a free upgrade, and the service attitude was excellent. I heard there's an infinity pool on the rooftop, but I didn't have time to check it out. Breakfast was included, and the spread was rich with high-quality options. This hotel offers incredible value for money. If I ever visit Saigon again, I'll definitely choose this place and highly recommend it to my friends.

FFanfanbufanAfter temporarily closing its doors to the old Mandarin Oriental just two streets away, Landmark's MO officially took over on June 1st, opening a new chapter for MO Hong Kong. As an MO fan, I was among the first to book and experience the L900 suite. Public Areas | Arrival Lobby The most significant and captivating change is the completely redesigned hotel lobby. Entering immediately activates a ”noise reduction” mode, bringing a sense of tranquility. The lobby, concierge, and other functional areas are cleverly concealed within ingenious partitions, with a clear flow of movement. The lighting and art installations are combined in a lighter, more airy way, creating a bright and clean atmosphere. Guest Rooms | L900 Suite The L900 suite I stayed in is the largest of its type, approximately 84 square meters (900 square feet), a rare find in the Central business district. The design language is ”homey residence,” featuring a fully partitioned layout with an entrance foyer, a bedroom on the left, a bathroom in front, and a living room on the right. 🪭The living room features primarily fabric furniture, with a tree-shaped art installation on the wall echoing the hotel's design theme. The well-stocked mini-bar in the corner is a boon for those who enjoy a drink [secretly observing R]. 🪭The master bedroom continues the private residence design style, with a double walk-in closet that boasts an exquisite symmetrical beauty. However, I'm not entirely comfortable with the switch design; I still prefer the straightforward switch logic of the older Mandarin Oriental style. 🪭The bathroom is the highlight, featuring an oversized, round, deep soaking bathtub encased in frosted glass. However, the vanity is too cramped; even a toiletries bag can't be fully unfolded, which slightly detracts from the overall experience. The ”Whispers of the Fan” fragrance bath series, a collaboration with AMOUAGE starting in June, smells wonderful and perfectly matches MO's understated and restrained style. Dining | Michelin Three-Star Amber I pre-booked the three-Michelin-starred French restaurant Amber, which has consistently ranked among the top restaurants in Hong Kong for its beautiful food for many years. The restaurant has also undergone a space upgrade and menu update, continuing its dual Michelin three-star + green star accolades. 🪭There are two sets to choose from: one is the ”Full Amber experiences” (which includes a visit to the kitchen and interaction with the chef), and the other is the five-course experience I selected, featuring an upgraded version of their signature ”Lobster Caviar.” 🪭Amber continues the French culinary philosophy of being dairy-free, low in sugar and salt, showcasing the natural flavors of ingredients through simple cooking techniques. The lobster caviar with seaweed crisps was absolutely amazing—rich in layers, refreshing, and not greasy at all. Spa | As the hotel's Spa Studio is still under renovation, the entire team has moved from the old Mandarin Oriental. Currently, they are temporarily providing services in the guest rooms on the 8th floor. You need to confirm the time and services in advance. There are four basic services to choose from, but thankfully, the therapists are all from the old Mandarin Oriental.
