As our flight arrived HK at 2355 hrs, we booked a night at Regal Hotel on arrival. Once you are at the Arrival Hall, turn to left towards the end & you will see a signboard directing you to Regal Hotel. Just less then 5 mins walk you will reach the Hotel’s Reception. Checking-in was a breeze in less then 3 mins we were given the room keys. Room is old but clean with all the necessities. As the room came with 1 complementary breakfast, i paid an extra HKD138/pax for the international buffet breakfast. Well worth the price. To reach the city, we took the HK Airport Express at a promo price for 2 pax single journey.

It's been a while since my last visit to Hong Kong, and this time I once again chose The Ritz-Carlton, Hong Kong. I love this hotel because it's one of the tallest in the world, standing at 490 meters. I particularly enjoy swimming on the 118th floor, overlooking Victoria Harbour. I arrived at the hotel before 1 PM and met the duty manager, KON TIN. Instead of rigidly sticking to the 3 PM check-in time, she quickly arranged a room for me – room number 109-11. I won't even mention the small touches like complimentary drinks at the front desk. To my surprise, the room had a stunning view of Victoria Harbour! It had just rained, and through the glass curtain wall, the mist appeared and disappeared, with Victoria Peak faintly visible in the distance. I absolutely loved it. After so many stays, this was the first time I'd had a room with a Victoria Harbour view, which naturally put me in a fantastic mood and made my business trip go smoothly. The breakfast, as always, was exquisite. The à la carte menu had changed since my last visit, offering more variety, and everything was delicious, comfortable, and flavorful. The wide selection of breakfast options caters to tastes from all over the world.

The hotel's location is excellent. It's a two-minute walk downstairs to the Avenue of Stars, and you can enjoy the Victoria Harbour views as you stroll along the coast, passing attractions like K11, Harbour City, and the Clock Tower. Both the MTR and ferry are conveniently accessible, and there are many dining options nearby. You can also choose a room with an extra bed. At around 700 yuan during the off-season, it's a top choice.

The room was quite spacious for Hong Kong standards, comparable to a standard twin room on the mainland. The common areas were very well air-conditioned. To get to the tower, you need to take an elevator to the 20th floor. The facilities weren't as outdated as some reviews suggested, and I was very happy with this room type in Hong Kong. We pushed the two small beds together to create a large bed over 2 meters wide. It offered excellent views, including a sea view, and the rooftop pool was also stunning, providing a dazzling view of Victoria Harbour at night. The transportation was extremely convenient; it was just a 3-4 minute walk to the MTR station if you turned right upon exiting. The only minor drawback was that the front desk staff who checked us in didn't smile at all. While they weren't impolite, there was no sense of warmth or friendliness.

I chose this hotel for its proximity to the vaccination center, and it turned out to be unexpectedly good. It's clean and fresh, and the service is excellent. The views from the 40th floor are clear and expansive. The executive lounge on the 36th floor offers breakfast from 7-10 AM, afternoon tea from 3-5 PM, and a rich selection of evening snacks from 6-8 PM, all complimentary. It's also very convenient for metro travel and taxis. Excellent value for money!

I'm genuinely shocked by the service these days. I witnessed an incident firsthand: a solo guest was staying at the hotel, and the next day, a 'friend' wanted to join them for the complimentary buffet breakfast. The person at the entrance, checking guests in, noticed it was a solo booking and immediately refused entry to the self-proclaimed 'friend'. The 'friend' turned to leave, but the hotel staff completely ignored us, who were waiting right behind them to check in for breakfast. Instead, they immediately called the front desk, confirmed the guest's information, and then, in front of everyone, used highly inappropriate language, loudly exclaiming, 'I just chased away a clueless *****!' We all heard it clearly. Meanwhile, the man who had left wasn't far from the elevators, heard what was said, and immediately came back, asking, 'What did you just say?' The person on the phone largely ignored him… To be frank, I don't care if that person was trying to get a free buffet breakfast or not, but the staff's handling of the situation was completely out of line. At the very least, they shouldn't have used such disrespectful language for other guests to hear while dealing with this, and their disregard for us waiting to enter – does that mean any guest who turns to leave will be subjected to discriminatory remarks? Speechless.

Third time staying here!!! As expected, it's just as good as before!!! The room was comfortable, and this time I specifically noted it was our honeymoon, and they thoughtfully prepared a small cake for us! It was absolutely wonderful! When we were leaving for the airport, they even helped us with our luggage and wrote down the driver's license plate number in case we forgot anything. Truly attentive service!

Facilities: There's a gym with a sea view and an outdoor infinity pool overlooking the sea, perfect for sunbathing. Environment: The hotel is located in Hung Hom Promenade, making it incredibly convenient for getting around. Service: Five-star service quality; English, Cantonese, and Mandarin are all spoken. Hygiene: Clean and tidy.

The hotel service was excellent! We checked in during the May Day holiday and even got a room upgrade. The front desk staff was very patient and told us where to find good food nearby. The hotel is very close to the subway, which makes getting around super convenient. I also really appreciated the water dispenser providing water at different temperatures – that's a great touch! And even though it's in Hong Kong, this hotel is HUGE! Although it's located in Sha Tin, getting to the city center by subway is really quick, so the value for money is just incredible! Plus, the hotel provides various little cards, for example, a card on the fridge clearly stating that the mini-bar is chargeable, and a card on the table apologizing for potential noise due to ongoing renovations. They are so thoughtful!

The hotel's location is excellent. It's a 2-minute walk to the MTR station and an underground passage from the left side of the lobby. It's also very close to the Avenue of Stars, Tsim Sha Tsui food street, K11, and Harbour City, all within a 10-minute walk. The staff are friendly and the service is very professional. Breakfast is served for a long period with plenty of well-prepared, tasty food. The facilities are well-maintained, and there's ample hot water. The only downside is that the room had a strong, damp and musty smell for all three nights of my stay, which affected my sleep. However, given Hong Kong's geography and climate, and the age of the hotel, this might be an unsolvable issue. Overall, it still deserves a high rating.
