Reviews: Detective Conan Anime | Oita Yufuin & Kyushu Zoo & Umizu Hell Day Trip
Guest User2026-09-17
It was the best itinerary my entire family, including my wife and elementary school daughter, participated in.
It was full of things to see, from the safari tour my child loves to the fascinating Kamado Jigoku and the charming Yufuin.
My wife and child truly enjoyed the famous "Kinsho Croquettes," crispy fried chicken, and unique "Grandpa Jelly" that we tasted during our free time in Yufuin.
We were able to enjoy foot baths twice during the trip, which was perfect for relieving travel fatigue. It was also very meaningful to be able to browse and purchase local specialties that cannot be bought in Korea and are only available in the region.
Most importantly, thanks to Guide Kang Chun-hwa, who carefully selected and guided us with only practical and useful advice without recommending excessive shopping, we felt much more secure and comfortable throughout the trip. Thank you for making our day perfect!★

Reviews: 1-day tour to Kyushu Wildlife Park African Safari in Oita, Japan: Anime fairy tale town · Animal interaction journey

Excellent value for money, though the itinerary was a bit rushed. The zoo safari is all about taking photos, but unfortunately the bus windows were a bit dirty, so I couldn't get good pictures (Picture 1). You need to move to the driver's seat to take better photos (Picture 2 onwards). After the safari, we had some time to see other animals, all of which were very interesting. The tour bus couldn't stop at Mount Yufu, and there was a bit of fog, so I didn't take any photos, but it wasn't anything particularly special anyway. Beppu Umi Jigoku (Hell on the Sea) was quite interesting, and they even offer free foot baths, so remember to bring towels and tissues. Yufuin Street is very long, but it's not particularly special, and there's not enough time to walk the whole street; it seems like staying overnight at a hot spring hotel would be better. The tour guide's commentary along the way was a bit lacking in substance, but it was acceptable for the price. It turned out to be bilingual, but the English was quite poor, thankfully I could understand Chinese.★

Reviews: 1-day tour to Kyushu Wildlife Park African Safari: Beppu Umi Jigoku + Yufuin Panorama + Mount Yufu Trailhead
Guest User2026-09-26
We really enjoyed the tour; the sights were beautiful! The Hell Springs were especially memorable; the safari was very interesting. We didn't regret not getting a cage; you can see everything better from the bus! The village seemed too touristy and bustling, although the lake is very beautiful. The guide was very good, explained everything thoroughly, and everything was organized clearly and consistently. Thank you!★

Reviews: 1-day tour to Umi Jigoku/Kamado Jigoku + Yufuin + African safari

Thank you to our tour guide, Huahua, for her excellent service! The sightseeing tour at Kyushu Zoo was wonderful, complete with background music! It was so immersive and enjoyable! In Yufuin, she provided detailed explanations of the official names of the attractions, including popular restaurants and snacks! She was incredibly patient with the children's questions about "Yukijin" (a type of hot spring bath), answering every single one! She also kindly led the group to Lake Kinrin.★

I signed up for this bus tour because I was tired from traveling alone, and I am 100% satisfied. Guide Kang Chun-hwa was so kind, from explaining the tour to leading the group, so even though I was traveling alone, I didn't feel left out at all. The itinerary, which included visiting the hot springs, a safari, and Yufuin, was fun and not tiring at all! If I get the chance, I would love to participate in another tour led by her in the future. It was such a great time!★

Reviews: Kyushu Hidden Gem | Slow Living in Yufuin, Misty Kinrin Lake Like a Dream, Embrace Nature

Despite the hot and humid weather in Fukuoka, our guide was kind and helpful until the very end, making the trip truly enjoyable.
In particular, the bus was cool, allowing us to tour the African Safari comfortably. It was fascinating and fun to observe the animals up close from inside the bus.
Thanks to you, I made many wonderful memories. I highly recommend Guide Lee Hyang-yong!
