Things to do in Songyang

The village is small and quite rustic, with initial signs of commercialization. It's worth a visit for photos, especially at sunset when the scattered ancient villages are accompanied by wisps of smoke rising from their chimneys – a truly beautiful sight. A word of caution: the village's pebbles are difficult to walk on, so wear appropriate shoes. Also, there's a 500-meter-long winding mountain road in and out of the village with extremely high oncoming traffic, making it quite challenging to drive. Traveling during the off-season is strongly recommended.

After visiting Yangjiatang Village, on the way back to the hotel, we made a special trip to Chenjiapu Village, known as "a utopia atop the clouds, an ancient village on a cliff." There's a Librairie Avant-Garde bookstore there, which is also quite nice.

Songyang Old Street, also known as Nanzhi Street, is located in Songyang County, Lishui City, Zhejiang Province. It is one of the oldest ancient streets in the area. It began in the Tang and Song Dynasties, flourished in the Yuan, Ming and Qing Dynasties, and still retains a large number of buildings from the Ming and Qing Dynasties. It is the longest county town old street in Zhejiang Province, with a core line length of 1.9 kilometers, a total planning area of ​​about 7.68 hectares, and a total length of the core pedestrian street of about 640 meters.

The ride was smooth and the scenery was beautiful. The magic carpet and glass slide were both very comfortable experiences. Feeling the breeze on the glass walkway was wonderful. The staff at the visitor center were very helpful and answered many of our questions.

Songzhuang Village is relatively small. Its most distinctive feature is that there is a small stream in the village with an ancient stone arch bridge over the stream. As it is not very famous, there are not many tourists in the village. There are also very few residents in the village, with only a few elderly people. It is very quiet and not much developed, so it is quite pristine.

The well-protected forest area has gurgling water and streams flowing down the mountain road. There are many waterfalls along the way, and the shady side is also cool. According to the introduction of the scenic area, there are many protected animals and plants, but of course I didn't encounter any animals on this trip.

Guyan Huaxiang has a quiet atmosphere, and it's quite pleasant to stroll along the river. There aren't many shops, so you can take your time to explore without rushing. A 15-minute round trip boat ride costs 40 yuan per person, which is a decent experience and a nice way to leisurely enjoy the river view.

⛰️A 600-year-old ancient village located about 10 minutes drive up from Yangjiatang. The village is full of aboriginals. The village is very simple and has not been commercialized at all. It is recommended to come here if you like traditional Chinese villages. 🏠There is a "Youtian Huakai" B&B in the village. The B&B is very niche, cost-effective, and the service is quite considerate. The B&B is also equipped with a restaurant and a cafe, which meets my life needs. I have to recommend his coffee and dishes to everyone again. The taste is very authentic! There is no additives in the restaurant outside! 🚗The transportation is also convenient. I drove here this time. It is only a 10-minute drive from Yangjiatang. The mountain road is also relatively wide, and there is no problem for female drivers. There are also parking lots and charging piles in the village. I have to say that this small village is really too humane! BBs who can't drive can choose to take a taxi after arriving in Songyang, which is about 30-40💰. 🌸In general, the scenery of the village is beautiful, but the village is not big. It is a small but beautiful existence. In the village, you can see villagers farming, clouds rolling, smoke curling, and a full atmosphere of life. It perfectly interprets the "countryside" in my heart. If I have time, I will come again, chat with the owner of the homestay, eat with the villagers, experience farming, listen to the cicadas and birds singing... It is a childhood memory and a piece of pure land in my heart!

The endless tea garden makes people feel relaxed and happy. The tea garden road is undulating and designed as a cycling track. It combines sports and tea culture and is a good place for leisure and sports.

It's a very small village. The scenery in front of Guoyunshanju is very good. But the study room of Guoyunshanju was closed on the day I went there, so I couldn't buy coffee. Later, I went to visit the small exhibition hall. The children had a lot of fun going up and down the houses. If you are interested, you can walk around the small waterfall further down. It takes about an hour to walk around slowly. Everyone thinks it feels good to walk around. You can take pictures of Chenjiapu Village at the entrance of the village.
