Four Points by Sheraton Los Angeles Westside
4.2/5125 Reviews
This was our first visit to the hotel since before the Pandemic and, having stayed there many times previously we were welcomed back as if we were family! So great to see Sergio still at the bar providing his excellent service as always. He really is the best bar tender we've ever met, and long may he stay at the hotel! Juan and his colleagues at breakfast were incredible! The hotel was fully booked on some days, but the breakfast team were like a well-oiled machine making sure that everyone was looked after, and that buffet items were constantly being replaced. We hope to be back in LA before long, and the Four Points will always be our first choice of hotels. Thanks to everyone who looked after us over 9 nights.
Courtyard by Marriott Culver City Los Angeles
4/564 Reviews
I stayed here for 3 nights during WeHo pride weekend. It is within 10 miles from both downtown and WeHo. Even closer to the airport. The front desk is very kind and let me check in when I arrived before 2pm. The room was well decorated and met all my needs. Though there is highway nearby, I still slept well in general. There is paid breakfast buffet at the bistro and quite convenient. Parking is $25 per day and one just uses room card to go in and out. Overall I am very satisfied with my stay, better than last time when I stayed at a similar Marriott hotel in North Hollywood. Will definitely go back to this hotel.

Venice Beach
Found this place here on TA. I was looking to stay almost anywhere near the 405 and this was one of the highest rated, best values around. Yes, the property is an older motel-type setup, but it seems to be recently updated I like the laminate floors over dingy carpet you find in so many other places. My king bed was firm and I slept like a baby. Easy parking, pleasant service. As others have mentioned, don’t put too much stock in the “free breakfast.” There are no eggs, waffles, or anything hot. I literally had a bowl of Raisin Bran, just like at home :) If you’re visiting from outside of California, you’d be well-served to go get yourself a Mexican breakfast at El Jacalito or famous Paca’s Tacos. Both walkable.

Visually lovely and hip, people are nice, but you get what you pay for. While they went out of their way to give me a quieter room on the back (and it was quiet), some of the basics were off: Room is so bare bones that they don't even provide you with a drinking glass (had to get dressed again and go downstairs for one); no wifi in my room; not enough light to read in bed or put on makeup in the bathroom; on the side with the night stand and charger plugs, bed is very worn (other side is fine tho). And even tho I asked before I reserved whether there were any ”add on” fees (they said no) they do add $15 a night ”facility” fee - whatever that is. I did push back and they took it off. Expedient for a business trip although not comfortable.
Sunburst Spa & Suites Motel
3.7/50 Reviews
The Sunburst is a fine hotel for the budget-conscious traveler (like myself, who stayed for one night in early September 2019). It is well maintained, clean, the rooms are surprisingly large, everything worked well (TV, WWW, refrig, microwave), and the staff is accommodating. My visit was hassle-free.. The location is also very good for access to the 405 freeway. The negative reviews posted by others appear to be from individuals paid to make those commentaries, as not a single issue raised in the complaints was observed by me. I highly recommend this property to those seeking a good, clean room at a very low price.
Travelodge by Wyndham Culver City

Room was very clean and space was perfect for the two of us. Parking lot is not very big but does the job. Execellent restaurant on the sidewalk below hotel, very convenient and good food at walking distance. Close to LAX Airport a plus.
