What makes this place special are the people. Yes, it is modern, tastefully designed and immaculate with great access to public transport and a couple of local treasures, the front desk with Tata, Tania and Sujata, complete with broad smiles and great local knowledge are a compliment to manager Emmanuel and Mr Fixit, Julian.

This was our second stay in a hotel of this chain, the first time in Provence. Positive: In general our experience was positive, a good place for a short overnight stay and onward journey. There is a parking lot (in Marseille it cost 10 euros extra). You can cook if you want (there is a kitchen, dishes and appliances). Bed, bathroom and toilet were nice and clean. Criticism: In Marseille the room was worn and poorly cleaned, there was dust on the microwave and in the air conditioning (a lot of thick layer) not cleaned. Poorly closing freezer compartment in which there was a lot of snow. There was no extra blanket or pillow. We could not be provided with an extra pillow on request. If the maids paid attention to the little things it would be very good.

Reception was shocking, everytime we needed assistance the wait was long and customer service not good, no one could be bothered. Small bar not a problem but no stock not even ice. The indoor pool was a good size but guest were allowed to walk in and out through the dining area wet with no shoes on straight into the lift. There seemed to be a lot of young people and familes being housed there, again not a problem but there was no hotel experience or service for the paying guest. The rooms were really nice and clean lots of space but the night we arrived one guest had been beaten up and had to be attended to by paramedics and police. Not sure how they got in as needed key card to enter lift. The saving grace for me was the roof terrace and pool, good space, lovely pool and the fact that were english and the weather was hot for us we had the whole area to ourselves as it was to cold for everyone else. The train runs almost directly behind the hotel which is cheap and a good way to travel in and out of the center. I would not stay here again.

Air-conditioning was very effective and quiet. Location was not great, but good — it was super near Gare Saint-Charles, but around a 10-15min walk to the Old Port. Everyone was friendly in the hotel, and spoke English very well which was useful as our French isn’t great. Couldn’t have asked for anything more, also the deposit was paid back straight away on the same day in full. Highly recommend.

Clean, but basic. Reception closes at 11pm, if you need assistance, hard luck. Parking is not at the hotel, but a general car park for all, charges €11 per night. There is a small parking area outside the hotel, but it is pure luck if you can get in it, only space for 5/6 cars. Staff are polite, but communication could be better for clients and each other.

New residence, very clean. Welcoming and helpful staff. The accommodations with balconies face south with a view of the pedestrian square. The other buildings (mainly offices) obstruct the noise from the nearby airport. Slightly limited crockery equipment; fridge too small, you have to do the shopping often. Far from the beaches and the city center, you have to take tram line 2 to get there (nearest beach Carras 10 minutes by tram, less busy than those in the center); city ​​center 25 - 30 min by tram. Close to transport: new Nice-St Augustin station (TER to Cannes / Antibes / Grasse / Nice city / Monaco / Menton) 300m away; “Grand Arénas” tram stop 300m away; Bus station for the west of the department (Cannes, Grasse, Antibes, hinterland) 500m away. No nearby business; the nearest supermarket is 600m away, Phoenix Park next door. ”Interparking nouvelle'R” parking nearby, but not very practical for SUVs and larger cars due to narrow passages.

· Easy to access location, though the hotel is not elegant, it is adequate, clean and efficient. Nice pool. Staff is extremely friendly, more than efficient and helpful with questions not even associated with hotel. Loved the very secure parking. Even a garage if the secure parking is not secure enough! And though I can struggle along in the French language, they spoke English! Business travelers would like this place as they need efficiency and easy access. There are small kitchens in the rooms for longer stays. As the autoroute is nearby, it isn't quiet outside. Rooms are quiet when window is closed. But that is clear when looking at the map on the booking.com website.

The room is big, the location is good, the parking is convenient, safe and reliable. Average breakfast, poor internet access. Everything else is fine Facilities: complete, the shower head in room 111 can't hang, it needs to be replaced and repaired Environment: Excellent, there is a big supermarket nearby******

This place does not deserve the score of 1 for terrible. Do NOT GO HERE. Its Old, tired, unclean, it has a manager who does not care for the customers. He sent his maintenance man to our room when we specifically asked for manager to come to room to report bedbugs. Manager said he was too busy. No doors on kitchen cupboards. Pigeons and Pigeon excretement literally covering the building with feathers inside room. No housekeeping at all. We moved rooms and views just filthy and place disgusting. No fitment to have shower, bath fitting turned off so bath cannot be used. It needs shutting down in my opinion

Bonjour, Hôtel à fuite d'urgence qui ne mérite pas d'être étoile, l'établissement est vétéros moyens, nous avons réservé une chambre qui était normalement la plus haute en gamme au tarif le plus élevé 93.30€ pour une nuit. After crossing the entrance doors the room was flooded with water to the ground with a very glissing fat substance, and that was only the beginning, of spiders that decorate the walls, the dust in the entire room the sticks and the complaints go up, the mosquitoes in the entire room..., the sticks are cut by I don't know what to slice, the bed heads fall into lambs the tissues go up and let appear on the bed and l'es chevet des morceaux pleins de poussière, la propreté n'est vraiment pas suivie dans cette maison le ménage semble inexistant ainsi que l'hygiène. La qualité de service inexistante, le personnel semble dépasser par la quantité de travail à fournir et perdu car une personne doit s'occuper de l'ensemble des tâches à effectuer Photo de la chambre pour illustrer l'absence de propreté en PJ A FUIR LIVEMENT NEW YOU HAVE !!!!!!!! This aparthotel is in a well communicated area and could have potential, however it is in need of a serious update especially for an over 300Euro/night tab -more expensive than the best 5Star hotel in the city. The elevator was out of order for the first 2 days (we stayed 3 nights) and we were put on the top floor (6th). Most of the staff did not speak English (or did not want to). The breakfast is good. The room was supposed to be for 4 people, however I don't see how would that be possible as to open the sofa bed we would need to move the dinning table closer to the kitchen, in which case you don't have space to either open suitcases or use the kitchen for that matter. Luckily we were only 2 people and did not need to use the sofa bed as a bed, but used to place our suitcases instead. We were assigned a 4 person room (and charged accordingly) -although we were only 2 people. The toilet bowl is in a small space (closet size) is extremely small and it only had one half of a toilet paper roll. No extra toilet paper rolls anywhere in the room. The kitchen seemed to be basically equipped, although we never used it, so I can't say if it was in proper working condition. The walls were very run down and with stains. Bedroom closet doors, sofa bed and doors were very cheap quality and the light fixtures were tattered and provided insufficient lighting. The curtains were dirty and stained. The safe box did not give us much confidence as it could be lifted easily with its contents. All and all, if we had been charged around 60Euro/night or less, it would have been acceptable, but for 300Euro/night it is way overrated and we felt abused, and to top things of, we were charged 11Euro for an extra breakfast (1 coffee). They seem to set their prices per night randomly in a range from 49Euro to 347Euro depending on events going on and general hotel availability in the city. If you pay the lower price it is an ok place, but definitely not worth if you get charged more than 60Euro/night.

My husband and I stayed for one night at this hotel. You can't check in until 3pm, no matter what - even if your flight arrives at 9am in the morning, so be aware that they will need to hold your bags if you wish to drop them off. Staff was very friendly, but right at 3pm, everyone arrives to check in and the wait can take a little time. Our room was pretty small, but had a little kitchen area and a decent sized bathroom. The bed was fairly comfortable and the view was basically of a run-down apartment building in the back of the property (depressing). We fortunately had a good nights rest with very little noise. There's a Nespresso machine in the room and you can buy pods at the front desk. The location is walkable to many tourist shops and restaurants right in Old Port. The room appeared to be clean, but a bit run down. I would suggest a one night's stay if needed, but to stay longer might cramp your style if you wish for something a bit more roomy and charming. Overall, good stay and a good place for walking around Old Port and surrounding neighborhoods.

Aparthotel with good location, service and reasonable price. It is quite suitable for business trips (my case), as well as for family vacations, tourist trips, etc. Around there is everything necessary for life.

Fairly well-equipped studios, family swimming pool, correct set... but it depends on the rooms... so beware! Especially since we take a deposit of 300 euros (even if you only stay one night) WITHOUT an incoming or outgoing inventory. Declare therefore upon your arrival any imperfection at the reception so that you can recover your deposit. We also don't like the group of cleaning staff who, in the morning, carry on a conversation, chatter in the corridors and clutter them. The cleaning trolleys we accept of course, but when you see the cleanliness of certain rooms, you understand that it was more interesting to chat than to pass the broom.

I had to book 2 night accomodation at short notice, this was a basic accomodation only.. There was no telephone between my room & reception in a large block of flats. The paper system at reception took a messge from my friends (my mobile phone had been stolen) but that messge never reached me, there was never a note on my door in the block of flats. The cooking pot was for 4 or 6 peopple, there needs ot be one at a size for just 1 or 2 people as it was a twin room. The bed(s) were board beds with a single mattress only on top. It was more suited to people with cars as there was parking & it was near the A50 route.. But I was on public transport & it took at least 30 minutes to get to the twon centre. To be fair,it was quiet & there was greenspace nearby. I would only book this place again if there was nowhere else to go.

Great location, close to metro, good room size and clean. The small pantry with extra sink is helpful when another person is using the toilet. A minor problem is that the hairdryer is attached in the toilet, have to wait for 1 person done using the hair dryer before the next person can use the toilet.

The staff at the front desk of the hotel are very friendly, and the check-in and check-out speed is also very fast. The location is good, and it is less than ten minutes' walk from the subway station in the picture. The room is also very clean, suitable in size and has a private bathroom. The best thing is that there is an open kitchen in the room, and the tableware is also very complete.

Despite other reviews, I have to note that staff was helpful (even in English, as I don't speak French). The apartment was spacious and has everything you might need for a short stay. It's located across the train station, however for a newcomer it's not that easy to reach it, you need to walk at least 10 minutes (if you're lucky and don't take a wrong turn). The apartment seemed clean at first sight, however there was dust in many places and the air-condition had a cigarette odor. Cleanliness is not the hotel's strong suit, as they tell you than they only clean the room after a week's stay (if you manage to stay there that long), they give you clean towels at an extra cost and they expect you to take down the garbage yourself (!). Combine this with the area's (next to the train station) lack of cleanliness and you get the picture. The bed was terrible, I had asked for a double bed and they stuck two single beds together.....Pillows were too soft. Breakfast was mediocre, with very few and low quality choices, the breakfast room was too small. In conclusion, the price I paid was way too much for what it had to offer. Hopefully, I only had to stay there for one night.

The hotel offers fully equipped studios/chambers. Spacious and comfortable rooms. Located in a quiet street. Great bathroom also. A convenient breakfast. Reserve as soon as possible, the rates are more interesting and the establishment is quickly attacked.

We were traveling with a mobility scooter and the building and grounds worked 100%. Reception staff so warm and welcoming. Bed and room very comfortable and spacious. We had a lovely balcony and view … well done and thank you - a great months stay. Perhaps sun umbrellas at the pool would have helped with the sun but I didn’t ask so perhaps they are available.

The ApartHotel Adagio turned out to be a good alternative to a hotel stay for me. Ideal location and great breakfast. I was there on business and had to drive to get there, and unfortunately the hotel's parking was full but I found space at the public parking Roqueville 200m from there. Personnel was very nice and accommodating.

I stayed in this hotel last week with my 81 year-old mother. I liked the location of the hotel and the initial impressions was quite favourable. Unfortunately, this is where it ends. Having booked a twin room, we ended up with a double bed. After enquiring wether this could be changed I was promised another room which I looked at but which also had a double bed. I then decided to stay in the original room because the receptionist did not know which rooms were made up as double or twin. She then promised to send someone the following day at a precise time to change the bed. The morning come and went. Nothing happened. I then contacted reception again, which did not know about anything. The day went by and finally in the late afternoon 2 grumpy women turned up, clearly causing them more work, and changed the bedding. The kitchen is modern and has a lot fo good features, but cheap and uncoordinated cutlery, no knives to cut anything decent. The 2 glasses were so small you could almost call it a shoot glass. Just a shame to have a fully functioning kitchen without much equipment to use. The bathroom is small and functional, but the main issue here is the height of the bath tub. How can anyone of a smaller statue even get in??? Not much room to put your toiletries either. Storage seems to be a general problem in the room as well since there is a wardrobe for hanging clothes but not really any storage space for folded clothes in easy reach. The carpet is dirty. There are no reading lights next to the bed and no lights close enough to the table. It was a very dim affair eating your dinner. There was a sign saying you cannot use the balcony for sitting outside or hanging things up. Why even have a balcony I wonder?? What makes me really negative is, that the hotel randomly charged my credit card which is just discovered today. Let´s see when I will get my refund. I am very disappointed with the lack of care and interest of the place.
