A clean place. About friends, we walked in a very silent Taksim square in a back street on the back street and reached less than 2 minutes. We reached in a shorter than 1 minute in the Istaklal street. What more is the prices that apply 😊

I have stayed here many times, but this time I was not satisfied at all. In the room, hair belonging to an old woman was scattered everywhere. The cleaning was unsuccessful. There was a hot water problem, the water was getting extremely cold and hot while taking a shower and washing dishes. I am not normally a person who chooses pillows, I can sleep with all pillows, regardless of whether they are hard, soft, high or low. The room is stuffed to the brim with a pillow large enough to bend your head at an exaggerated 45 degree angle. I preferred to sleep without a pillow.

After reading the reviews I decided to book an economy single room in the Berce Hotel. The reviews appeared to be mixed. When I arrived I was taken down to the dreaded basement room. It feels like a storage room that was converted into a single room below street level. Taking into account the star rating of the Hotel and the the relative price of my economy room the room wasn’t too bad. It’s not a place for luxury but being a solo traveller and just needing a place to sleep and get washed it was adequate. I get the feeling that if you pay the least you will likely be given this room. The fridge barely worked (Not reliable) and the TV wasn’t great. It is also below street level so expect to hear the street noise early in the morning. But if you just need a bed to sleep and a place to get washed (a shower)then it should suffice. Just remember there will likely be street noise as it’s below ground level. The location of the Hotel was great for seeing all the local sights. When the penthouse suite became available the owner kindly upgraded me for my final few nights. The view of the Bosporus from the top was fantastic. Very different from the basement room. The lesson I learned from this experience is you get what you pay for…if you pay cheap then don’t expect any frills..but you can’t beat the location or the view from the penthouse suite. As a solo traveller simply interested in a bed for the night with washing facilities conveniently located I would stay again if visiting Istanbul in the future. The owner was very helpful too in providing local advice and the boat trip on the Bosporus he arranged was one of my favourite excursions. One point I would change if given my time again would be to go further afield to buy my local sim. The cheapest deal the local shop at the end of the road did was a 25 Gb Turkcall deal… whereas otherTurkcell shops in the area gave the option of a 10Gb deal which came at a much cheaper price.

The hotel was very nice and staff were very helpful , the apartment had everything you will need from cooker to dishwasher, washing machine …

Friendly staff. There were no problems. The air conditioner is working. The only minus is the lack of a stove for cooking, which was written in the description.

This place is very close to the airport. It cost 100 liras to take a taxi (theoretically it should be 70 liras, but the driver charged more). The hotel entrance is easy to find. There are many hotels put together. The service desk facilities are okay. There is no water delivery. The room smells of smoke. It's heavy, but it's okay for one night's sleep.

This price is OK, the boss is enthusiastic

Excellent accommodation, very clean and pleasant, the people are super attentive, excellent service, they help you with the tours (balloons, typical dances, restaurants, etc.) the delicious breakfast, one of the best accommodations on my vacation in Turkey, highly recommended. Positive aspects; I have my own parking, my breakfast score 8/10, I give 9/10 for dinner. Restaurant workers do their job rightly. Negative aspects; I can say regret especially in the second accommodation. I stayed 1 night and then 3 nights with my wife and 2 children. The tape in the room holds all the hides and all the hides, most of the previous customers are hides. The rooms are wide, useful furniture but cleaning is available, you can see the hides on the corner. We were cold and we wanted to open the air conditioning, but the room 3A37 and other rooms on the same side were said the air conditioning was not working, because the rooms on the other side of the corridor were working. When I told the reception he retained me for about 4-5 hours, I asked for another room but I received a negative answer, they had no room in their hands, I saw there were empty rooms when I looked on the net. They could think of opening the pet in the room at 11 p.m. If I did not insist, we would have been cold with the children. I didn't fix the climate problem for three days, I checked out in a climate-degraded manner.
