Beijing Hotels with Bars

This hotel was recommended by Trip.com, and it was my first stay here. I was extremely satisfied and had a warm experience during my three-day visit. The room was clean and tidy, the front desk staff were enthusiastic, and the breakfast was plentiful, with both Chinese and Western options. The location is super convenient, just a short walk to Metro Line 10 and Airport Line 12. It's a great and convenient hotel, and they even offer supper at 10 PM!

Having stayed in many hotels, this one left a great impression on me. The room size was just right, not feeling cramped at all. The bathroom was spotless, with no water marks or stains. The mattress was comfortable even after sleeping for a long time, providing an excellent sleep experience. The surrounding area has convenient transportation, making it easy to get anywhere. The staff were polite, and their service was just right, not overly enthusiastic. The price was reasonable, and overall, everything was well-balanced. It's a great choice for accommodation when traveling. Plus, they not only have a washing machine but also a dryer! [Yay]

My overall experience at Wanda Vista Beijing was great. The location is truly unbeatable, right in the CBD, making it super convenient for shopping, dining, and taking the subway. It saves a lot of hassle whether you're here for a business trip or a vacation. Although the hotel has been open for some years, the rooms are well-maintained, clean, and tidy. The bed was incredibly comfortable; after a long day of traveling, I could get a solid night's sleep. The floor-to-ceiling windows offered a fantastic view of Beijing's nightscape, creating a wonderful ambiance. The staff were very professional and polite. The concierge and front desk were responsive without being overly enthusiastic, which can sometimes feel pressuring. The breakfast offered a wide variety of choices. My only minor gripe is that some of the equipment showed its age, but it didn't detract from the overall comfort of the stay. All in all, it's a very solid five-star hotel. If you're looking for convenience and comfort, I highly recommend it. I'd definitely consider staying here again on my next visit to Beijing.

Amazing! We spent five nights staying in a deluxe king room with terrace/balcony at The Purple Horse Hotel in Beijing at the end of June 2026.. The location is excellent. The hotel is situated in the heart of a Hutong which offers a calm quiet and serene experience in the middle of a bustling city, only a short walk to restaurants and shops. The Hutong itself is a great experience, it's safe and friendly and we enjoyed chatting to the locals at the corner shop. The hotel is absolutely wonderful. It's less than two years old and It is finished to a really high standard, the attention to detail is incredible. It felt luxurious with the highest quality furnishings and the bathroom and shower were like something you would find in a spa. Our room had great views over the Hutong and the Beijing skyline and had excellent air conditioning. We had a buffet breakfast and a buffet dinner included and it was delicious and served in a beautiful restaurant on the top floor. Above that there was an amazing rooftop terrace with an outdoor swimming pool, a cocktail bar and 360⁰ views of the city. There is also a Peking duck restaurant on the ground floor, a gym and a self service complimentary laundry room. The best thing about this hotel is the staff. The level of service and the attentiveness of the staff is at a level that we have never experienced before. The staff are super friendly and polite and they are always trying to help. Our room was cleaned to an immaculate level every day and we were often left little gifts and kind notes. The service in the restaurant was great and once again always really kind and friendly, special mention to Nieve for looking after us so well. Anything we needed, any questions we had, the staff really went out of their way to help us and did so with big smiles on their faces and we had fun times in our interactions with them. Everyone had a good level of English, especially the front for house staff and management . If you want a comfortable, clean, modern hotel with great facilities, in a great, safe location and would like staff that will advise and help you and direct you and even organise trips and transport for you, then this is the hotel for you. We would like to thank some of the staff that really went out of their way to help us. Ella and Anduo who organised a print shop for us and helped us find some specific gift shops. Nieve for making us smile everyday in the restaurant. The housekeeping team for making our room so clean, comfortable and amazing every day. It’s a very good hotel located in ideal location . It’s very near to forbidden city which is just few streets away. Many restaurants located nearby, like Si Ji Min Fu Peking Duck. You could get help from the hotel to get the queue number and waiting at the hotel room before your turn. It’s really save a lot of time. The daily breakfast was good , just that the serving plates or cups were found cracked or chipped , the hotel still use that for serving customers during breakfast .We were given free drink voucher and you gotta to get the voucher from the service counter daily. Free laundry and free robot delivery service . As there’s only one robot for food delivery to room, and during peak hour , you might need to go down to collect the food at the hotel counter yourself . And the room cleaning service is awesome and they helped us to clean the baggage and left us a message in sticky note when the job’s done. Kudos to the dedicated room cleaner. Many local Beijing snacks and cold drinks are served at the hotel lobby and they are free. When we’re checked out , we’re given a small free goodie bag to bring back home.

The hygiene, environment, and facilities were excellent. The location is absolutely superb, right in Dongsi Sitiao. Just walk straight and turn right, and you're on Dongsi Beidajie. It's perfect for a city walk, exploring, eating, and checking off all your must-sees. It's also super convenient to grab pastries from Honghua Dianxinju and Daoxiangcun as souvenirs. The hutong itself offers an immersive experience of old Beijing's alleyways and is wonderfully quiet. In terms of service, the hardware and facilities were great. The welcome snacks in the room were special Daoxiangcun treats, and the welcome fruit and drinks were a thoughtful touch. The readily available complimentary bottled water in the hallways was also very convenient. So much for the good. Now, let's talk about areas for improvement – specifically, the soft services. I understand that a hotel is essentially a service industry, so service is an extremely important component. The service here, if I were to use an analogy, felt like a bottle of milk mixed with half a bottle of water. It had a milky taste, but it felt a bit diluted, a little off. The remaining half bottle of milk was there out of necessity, to prove it was still milk. Personally, I think poor performance usually stems from two reasons: 1. a willingness issue; 2. a capability issue. As for what the specific problem is, the boss probably needs to identify it. If it's a capability issue, I'd suggest more training. If it's a willingness issue, it's a bit harder to pinpoint, given that there's still that half bottle of milk. I'd definitely consider staying here again if I come back to Beijing and would recommend it to friends, purely for the environment and location. As for the service, perhaps dropping the '24h Private Residence Butler' label would make it feel less incongruous. Finally, in brief, some reasons for my negative feedback on the service – too lazy to elaborate, but let's call it the ”missing luggage tag incident” and the ”insisting a display item is new incident.” Honestly, I'm usually very accommodating with minor issues; otherwise, I wouldn't have waited 20 minutes at the front desk when I was rushing to catch a flight. But what I can't tolerate is deception. The fact that I had to persist to expose a display item being passed off as new is quite ridiculous. And lastly, a shout-out to the girl who worked hard running to the storage room to get a new item; she really tried and apologized, but I still needed to get this off my chest.

This location was ideal for my short layover. Conveniently located adjacent to Beijing Capital International Airport, it offers virtually every amenity you could imagine. The value is also excellent considering what you save by taking advantage of the complimentary airport shuttle service. What truly made this stay exceptional, however, was the outstanding hospitality. I ordered room service, and the food arrived hot, delicious, reasonably priced, and surprisingly high quality. Breakfast was another highlight—I highly recommend adding it to your stay, whether you dine in the restaurant or enjoy it from the comfort of your room. I especially want to recognize Deane at the guest services desk. Exceptional customer service is becoming increasingly rare, and Deane reminded me what genuine hospitality looks like. When I needed a little extra time before checking out, he patiently listened to my request, helped me work through my admittedly imperfect Chinese, and went above and beyond by arranging a special accommodation that allowed me to remain in my room beyond the standard checkout time. At no point did I feel rushed or like an inconvenience. Instead, I felt genuinely welcomed as a guest. His professionalism, kindness, and willingness to help transformed what could have been a stressful travel day into a relaxed and enjoyable experience. Employees like Deane are a tremendous asset to any hotel, and he deserves recognition for the positive impression he leaves on guests. This personalized level of customer care is exactly why I would recommend this hotel to anyone flying into or out of Beijing, and why I will absolutely stay here again. I’ve attached a few photos I took during my visit. A special note for families with children: you would be hard-pressed to find a better airport hotel. Between the family rooms, swimming pool, breakfast buffet, and evening dining options—including pizza, burgers, and other Western favorites—there is plenty to keep children happy while creating memorable family experiences. 10/10. The service was excellent. We arrived a bit late, and turndown service had already been done. Someone even guided us to our room. When I lost my room key at the bar, the bartender helped me contact the front desk and retrieve it. We received a handwritten welcome letter and complimentary Beijing-style fruits and snacks, which was a nice touch. The location is superb, right next to Wangfujing Street. From the bar's terrace, you can see the Forbidden City and Chang'an Avenue. However, the public areas are quite small and, being located within a mall, feel a bit cramped.

The Club Med resort is quite expansive, divided into a main building (housing the front desk, guest rooms, restaurants, gym, meeting rooms, etc.) and an annex building (primarily for recreational facilities, including archery, rock climbing, flying trapeze, bars, a water park, and a ball pit). The two buildings are conveniently connected by a skywalk. A big thank you to our butler, Suna, who provided meticulous reminders throughout our stay (dining times, themed activity schedules, etc.) and also helped coordinate issues like replenishing bottled water and arranging a late check-out. We really appreciate Suna! **Cleanliness:** The room was clean, and housekeeping service was prompt. **Dining:** The buffet offered a wide variety of dishes and was quickly refilled. **Activities:** There were numerous activities available during our stay, such as bubble parties, large-scale song and dance shows, childcare services, and a water park. The children had a fantastic time. **Outdoor:** There are basketball courts, badminton courts, and a pine cone park. Guests can also enjoy hiking or cycling on their own.

This hotel offers pretty good value for money, with an excellent location and affordable prices. While the facilities are a bit old, they are well-maintained. However, the customer service and the female front desk staff were quite subpar. They were unwilling to offer room upgrades or late check-outs, which was disappointing. I hope they improve, as it would be a shame to waste such a great location and the efforts of most of the other staff members.
