The hotel looks dated from the outside, is very modern in the lobby with machines for checking in and out, and then the rooms are also quite dated. The hotel is quite big, and you can be unfortunate to get a room far away from the lifts. The rooms are decent and clean. The bathroom is okay, but there wasn’t much caulk next to the shower so the water from the shower that hit the wall was just sliding down underneath the bath… very strange. On each floor there is one room where you can get ice and water, it also has a vending machine.

Overall was okay, a bit far from Kyoto staion. But, hotel has shuttle bus every 20 mins and make it more convenient. Service and amenities were nice. The worst part was humidity of the room and cleanliness (quite low compared to Japanese standard), plus bedsheets were smelly.

This hotel is located right near the intersection of Shijo Horikawa. I checked in at midnight, but the front desk was kind and I was able to respond without a disgusting face. The room was clean and the amenities were substantial, and there was a USB port for charging, which was very helpful. However, probably because it was a premise to use a large communal bath, there was only a shower booth in the room. It may be a negative for those who want to slowly soak in the bathtub in the room. Personally, I was happy with the large communal bath, so there was no problem at all. It was also good that the transportation was convenient. From the Shijo Horikawa bus stop, you can go not only to Kyoto Station, but also to famous tourist spots such as Kinkakuji, Kiyomizu-dera, Toji, Nijo Castle, Arashiyama, and you can go to Gion and downtown Kawaramachi without changing trains. You will need to change trains once, but you can also go to Nanzenji Temple and Ginkakuji Temple. If you walk a little, you will find Hankyu Omiya Station and Arashiden Shijo Omiya Station, and it is very accessible for sightseeing or business. There is a Family Mart just south of the hotel, and there are 7-Eleven ahead, so you don't have to worry about a little shopping. The accommodation fee was reasonable and it is a recommended hotel.

The location of hotel is in a walking distance from Kyoto Station. It is not close to the town 四條町. Every time when we go for shopping, we need to take a bus to the downtown. Easy access to anywhere by bus. The hotel staffs are very professional. The breakfast is highly recommended to book before departure. The hot spring, the room size, buffet breakfast, the service of reception are in a high standard. Highly recommended to the travelers who is planning to Kyoto. Interesting point: No shoes in this hotel. U need to lock your shoes in the locker before you walk in the hotel. They provided socks for you to wear.

Good location, excellent service , quiet & clean & modern hotel, good price to reserve it via online , room size is great ( not too small or not too big) , provide the locker free service at lobby , very convenient to take any transportation which is very closed to hotel, breakfast has many traditional Japanese food , is delicious ( suggest to provide little be more western food to the customers who may not enjoy eating daily Japanese food for breakfast) , having a traditional check in with staff and check out to use the machine which can save our time to line up long queue , have a large lobby for a rest ., having 7 eleven next to the hotel very convenient. I like they use a card to show the other guest which table is available as well as you don’t worried about someone just sit on when you go to take your food n easy for waiters clean the table for next guest too, smart arrangement 👍🏻for breakfast buffet

Nice and clean hotel, good location to browse the city. The staff are kind and friendly. The rooms are not big but family of 3 with one big piece of luggage can easily fit in. Japanese style room is very charming but you might need some time to adjust to a mattress firmness. The breakfast selection is rather limited and repetitive.

Good location in Kyoto Station. Easy to find out the hotel lobby when go out from Shikansen or JR train. We are arrive early before check in, the hotel reception allow to put our luggage without any charges. This hotel is good for family who bring younger children and can see the train outside from the window.

I and my mother stayed there for one night 20000 yen per person, with dinner and breakfast. It was a very comfortable stay. This was more like a hotel, except that we needed to walk around without your own shoes (without getting dirty feet) inside. It was fully booked on that day. We had an earlier check-in, which mean that we could enjoy our relaxing private Onsen bath without standing in line. We also tried the large onsen baths later in the evening after a long walk in the beautiful Arashiyama area nearby. It was hot, but great. One of the baths was outside in a Japanese garden. We got warmed up from the inside out, and had an ice popsicle before we went up to our room for good nights rest. We also enjoyed a huge dinner and breakfast, true local cuisine with typical taste in Kyoto that supposed to be refined and ”delicate” - you shouldn´t expect any strong taste, and correctly cooked. This supposed to be a 3-star-hotel, but the amenity was completed. We didn´t miss anything here. We thought the staff at the front desk were not amazing, but definitely not poor. We didn´t need to deal with them so much as we had good information in written form. Everything was clean and pleasant. Had absolutely nothing to complain. We would definitely love to come back again. My rating is 4 - not more or less. I certainly see that they still have a room for improvement, but overall I didn´t personally understand all the poor reviews.

I have read good reviews before deciding to book this hotel. It was the perfect choice. The staff is very welcoming. The amenities are provided at the hotel lobby. You are free to take what you need. The hotel is opposite Kyoto station. One particular staff stands out - Ms Kurita who provides good customer service. I am traveling with my elderly father and has difficulty walking. When the predicted typhoon in Japan, I have asked Ms Kurita for help and assistance and see what could be the best way to reach Kansai airport without any issues. She checked and said limo bus would be perfect and about 5mins away from hotel. I am impressed with her working and helpful attitude. I will book this hotel again if I come back in another season. Thanks Ms Kurita! You are a gem!! Thank you!

It's a nice hotel with a good location, easy enough to find from the train station. The rooms are clean and cozy. What was disappointing was the service at front desk. Not friendly or welcoming at all as compared to our stay in other cities like Osaka. We were even shuned away for breakfast as we wore the traditional Yukatas that were provided by the hotel, as the front desk said we couldn't wear it at the breakfast lounge and had to either go back up to change or we could take a small box of bread and pastries (that were cold) and we could eat in our rooms instead.

It's a nice hotel with a good location, easy enough to find from the train station. The rooms are clean and cozy. What was disappointing was the service at front desk. 宮津駅より徒歩で10分程かかり、天橋立へ3km程の距離があり、宮津市街地唯一のコンビニエンスストアにも徒歩で10分程度要する場所にあるホテルです。周辺環境の状況から利用しづらい印象を持つと思いますが、だからこそかもしれませんが、平日休日問わず周辺は静かで、大声でおしゃべりするような宿泊客もおらず、非常に快適に滞在できるホテルだと思います。ホテルのスタッフも一様に丁寧な接客で、気さくに声をかけてくれるものの、必要以上に距離を詰めてくるような接し方はしません。 ロビーから客室に至るまで、清潔さが保たれているのは言わずもがな、設備やアメニティも無駄が無くよくまとまっています。客室への入室時のカードキーをかざすセンサーが分かりづらい、客室の電気系統がやや分かりづらい（入口のスイッチは、部屋全体の電気系統のオンとオフを切り替えるもののようです）、バスルームはバスタブが無くシャワーのみ（且つ大浴場が無い）、という注意点がありますが、それ以外は全く申し分はありません。 1階のロビーには待ち合わせスペースの他、共用のキッチンのようなスペースがあり（シンクがあるだけで実際の調理は出来ません）、宿泊客に対し無料でコーヒーを始めとするドリンクのサービスが提供されています（全て無料です）。 殆どの宿泊客が車で利用するからか、充分な広さの駐車場が備わっている上、ホテルの目の前には高速バスのバス停があるため、京都などからの高速バスを利用してのホテルの利用も非常に便利です。 周辺は飲食店がいくつかありますが、上記の通りコンビニエンスストアはこのホテルよりやや遠いところにあります。一方でホテルの北（徒歩2～3分程度）のところにショッピングモールがありますので、食糧調達に殊更不便、ということは無いと思います。周辺環境にやや難はあるものの、ホテル自体は素晴らしく、何度も利用したくなるホテルです。 It takes about 10 minutes on foot from Miyazu Station, about 3 km to Amanohashidate, and about 10 minutes on foot to the only convenience store in Miyazu city center. The surrounding environment of this hotel may give the impression that it is difficult to use the hotel, but perhaps that is why the area is quiet on weekdays and holidays, and there are no guests who chat loudly, making the hotel a very comfortable place to stay. The hotel staff is also uniformly courteous and friendly, but they don't treat you in a way that puts more distance between you and them than is necessary. From the lobby to the guest rooms, it goes without saying that cleanliness is maintained, and the facilities and amenities are well organized without being wasteful. There are a few minor issues: the sensor to hold the card key when entering the room is confusing, the electrical system in the room is a bit confusing (the switch at the entrance seems to turn the entire electrical system on and off), and the bathroom is shower only with no bathtub (and there is no large bath). Other than that, everything else is perfect. In addition to the meeting area, there is a common kitchen-like area in the lobby on the first floor (with a sink, but no actual cooking) where coffee and other beverages are served to guests free of charge (all free of charge). The hotel has a large parking lot, probably because most guests use the hotel by car, and there is an express bus stop right in front of the hotel, making it very convenient to use the hotel by express bus from Kyoto and other cities. There are several restaurants in the area, but as mentioned above, a convenience store is located somewhat farther away from the hotel. On the other hand, there is a shopping mall just north of the hotel (about a 2 to 3 minute walk), so it's not particularly inconvenient to procure food. Although the surrounding environment is a little difficult, the hotel itself is excellent, and I would like to use this hotel again and again.

Gd location. V close to Amanohashidate viewland. A must visit spot. We stayed in room w terrace on G/F. Modern n nice decor. foldable mat provided for guests to sit on terrace. Just next to river bank. Privacy lacked but enjoyed seeing ships passing along from time to time. Public onsen not big but acceptable given the size of hotel. Free drinks n ice popsicles after onsen. Meals were good but not surprising. In laws stayed in room w outdoor onsen tub. Big w 92 square metres. V comfy. Gd views as room on 3/ F

Praise! The room is huge. The hotel looks expensive from the outside, but low-key. It happened to be facing the bridge outside the window. Ctrip noted that it wanted a higher floor height, which was useless. The service is super good, drink tea first. There is no elevator, but the waiter will help you carry the boxes, up and down. Check-in and check-out times are well-defined, but you can store boxes. Probably when you will be back, the box has been carried down for you when you left. The surrounding area is very quiet at night. Great location! Next to Zhien Temple. Next to the pier. It's easy to go to the opposite side. The hot spring on the first floor is also very good. Must go to experience. I went there once in the morning and evening, all of which were chartered. I took a shower by the way. . . I don't understand why someone bad reviews. The room doesn't need a shower room at all. . . What kind of hot spring hotel do not go to the hot spring. baffling.

At that time, I had to go to Abridge to play and just found a hot spring hotel close to the station. I didn't expect a big surprise! Although the hotel is small but has all the facilities, the hot spring lounge has not only ice water, but also a massage chair TV and comics. We chose the sea view room on the first floor and actually brought a small courtyard. Morning and evening meal is the hotel's Kaiseki cuisine, exquisite and delicious. If you are a service, there is an aunt who is super enthusiastic. Others may feel like a family, but the overall is great. After dinner, it’s nice to go to the seawall behind the hotel!

In front of the sightseeing ship Ichinomiya station, the outside was rounded from the window, but there was no one to look at and I didn't care much. Our room was on the 3 floor. Please be careful if you have a bad foot because all of the inn is old-fashioned steep stairs. It was a quiet and comfortable inn for children and cigarettes. The bath was narrow and I was awkward to be with other customers. I only used it once because I hated it and loved the bath. Dinner breakfast was naive and full of satisfaction. I received 1 wine with a reservation privilege from the official HP. The fruity white wine was very delicious. The staff 々 everyone was kind and nice.

Holiday with family, fixed garden view room, 7-8 minutes walk from Miyazu station, convenient transportation, good environment, spacious room, complete facilities, good service, and the dishes are super good, it is worth recommending to everyone

It was a little walk from the station, but there were several taverns around and it was convenient for meals. You can also enjoy nostalgic western food at the restaurant of Matsukaku Kan. On the day I checked in, I could put coffee myself and bring it back to the room. It was narrow because it was a reasonable room with 6,460 yen, and the outside of the window was a bicycle place, but the inside of the room was clean. However, it was troubled that the wall was a little thin or the sound of the alarm in the next room at 3 a.m. . Breakfast is buffet. I tasted it because there were curry and Maizuru specialty (?) meat potatoes in Matsuzawa Kan. Curry was a nostalgic taste with a lot of flour. I think it is a business hotel that is easy to use with business leisure.

Stayed one night to be close to the cruise terminal where we were to embark for a cruise around southern Japan. The hotel is very comfortable, and we asked for a water view, which was lovely. The staff were very friendly, and even though their English was limited, they could not be more helpful. The restaurant is not open for dinner, but we had a beautiful meal for lunch. There is a supermarket behind the hotel for supplies.

A 9-story building with brick-style tiles pasted beside the rotary in front of the station at the west exit of Nishi Maizuru Station. This city hotel has a banquet hall and a wedding hall, and local specialties are sold in the lobby with a wide 々. There is one large communal bath on the 3rd floor, and the usage time is divided for men and women. The room feels new in the interior and furniture, probably because it has just been renovated. The TV is large and wall-mounted. The air conditioner is installed for home use, and the temperature and air volume can be set freely. Located in front of the station, a single night is 6,300 yen. It is a convenient and not reasonable hotel.

A very good hotel with hot springs. The room is a little small, but the facilities are complete and clean. The breakfast is very delicious. It is worth staying. It is about 300 meters away from the train station. Five stars.
