After checking in with Joy,we get to our room is not clean housekeeping was in room next to us,asked Brenda and Sadie if they had done our room I was informed then they had only done the beds the day before and they were playing catch up on the rooms,no paper in restroom, they did a quick clean and said they would be back tomorrow lie #1 We walked down to lobby for paper and was told by Joy that were so very sorry and take some off our bill lie#2 I put in request for housekeeping left the next morning went to town for 5 hrs returned to take a nap room had not been touched. We were there for a Thursday-Sunday convention. Our group had reserved all but 12 rooms. This is an older facility so we expected things not to be perfect but this was very far from perfect. I will say that the AC will freeze you out. We had a room with two beds. The one I slept in was bad....no terrible. It sounded like it was going to come apart when I rolled over. It was almost like rolling in a pile of tin cans. It took quite a while and effort the part of the staff to get it swapped with one from another room. They did offer to let us change rooms. The trim molding on the top of the headboard of Kim, Brent, Joe or Brian busted their fannies to make things right but only had so much to work with. We heard that half of the hotel had been remodeled but the owner stopped and was not planning on doing any more. Stay away.

The hotel was clean and the continental breakfast was phenomenal. We spent time in the pool which was clean and nice. Shelley has great customer service and is awesome at what she does. She makes sure needs and wants are being met and that people have a wonderful time. We are grateful for her

Nice place room is clean the little study area is nice. Water pressure is minimal at best but gets hot. The towels are good scruffy rough towels which I like. And the bathroom is well set up. The coffeemaker is the Pod whatever type which is Marginal but they seem to have hot coffee  downstairs The bed was Extra firm which I like. Sheets are nice and overall it's quite a comfy room. The obligatory blinky Smoke detector light in the ceiling is OK and not as bright as some.. The little work area on the end of the room was a great idea..konda allow you stretch out and work. Now the Downside... The night staff was awesome the morning staff are... Well they are trying hard in the ”teenager angst sorta way” breakfast starts at 630 and is out (what there is) precisely around   645ish or so if you are on a tight schedule it ain't gonna happen. The fare is... Well sad. Usually a couple of heated things like an egg jalapeño souffle that was literally dry and tasteless there is a oat bagle steamed with a piece of sausage and an egg... Pro tip microwave it it's still cold . And there are always the famed Cubed Eggs. One understands how the competition across the street is so busy. Final word It's an OK place to stay not exactly what I'd expect from Marriott but overall Not bad a few tweaks and it would be Awesome

A little hotel, with character. Clean. The people Lindsey and Vernon running it are very nice and helpful. Easy parking and in walking distance to the shops. The town is very nice. Easy walking. Still decorated with Christmas lights. It was an overnight stay, would like to return in summer or fall.
