The hotel is well located from the center to the hotel you can take bus line 02 it takes just 5 minutes walking to the center it is 20 minutes walk. The receptionists are very attentive, I arrived early and allowed me to leave my backpack to enjoy the day at check out too. Clean and organized room and bathrooms Simple breakfast but for the price it's worth it. Swimming pool with an incredible view The receptionist Thayny, sorry I got the name wrong lol, very friendly and polite. I will definitely come back...

Lovely stay in Paladim & Alagoa Mar. We had booked a 1 bedroom apartment for 4 people although basic, it was clean and spacious, equipped with kettle, microwave, toaster, fridge and 2 small hobs. We arrived at 11am and although check in wasn’t until 3pm, luggage storage/shower/changing facilities were available. Pool area was ok, however could do with an update as there were multiple tiles missing. When we were there you needed to be down before 8am to reserve a sunbed if you would like ones together, think the hotel should open the pool later to prevent this happening. Location is perfect, 10-15 mins walk from both the old town and new town. My family and I preferred the old town as the new town bar ***** was a bit too hectic for us🤣 I suggest downloading the uber or bolt app as taxis are cheap and readily available on these apps. Overall we enjoyed our time in albufeira and would stay in Paladim & Alagoa again and would recommend it if you are looking for somewhere basic, clean and convenient.

Fantastic ten stars super attentive staff I was with 3 children and they managed to provide an excellent location for the apartment. I strongly recommend. To be repeated next year without a doubt. Congratulations are all.

We are coming to the end of our 10 night trip at this hotel. We are staying in a standard double room and this has been very comfortable. Inside the hotel is beautiful! Beds in rooms are spacious and bed linen changed every day alongside new towels. Although we were staying on street view rooms there was only one night I was disturbed of sleep and this was very brief as people made their way back to their apartment building. There was always plenty options at breakfast and food was really lovely. I cannot comment on dinner as we did not have this included. Pool area is very relaxing and lots of loungers - although the music by the pool was really repetitive and by personal preference, we would have liked more variety as it became boring. Also, for a four star hotel a plug next to the mirror would have been expected? We had a really relaxing massage in the spa here too with a lovely view! The beach is close, lots of bars and restaurants around a 5-10 minute walk away. Old town is not far in a taxi. In our experience the staff were very helpful and if we were to return to this part of Portugal we would definitely consider here again!

To say this place was awful is all I can do after my personal experience there recently, I certainly would never book to stay there again or recommend it. I booked a double room in their Guest House part of the complex. * The Reception is only open certain hours. You are supposed to be able to contact them outside those hours but I had to call them a couple of times and got no answer or help. It’s really impersonal and there’s no one around when you need them. * There is no facility to make hot drinks in your room. There was a bottle of water. You have to go to the breakfast room where a vending machine serves terrible quality drinks. You don’t want to have to walk around the hotel first thing in the morning to get hot drinks. *Room 521 was right by the door into reception and was noisy all night with people banging through into the corridor to get to their rooms. * The space immediately outside of the double windows in my room opened out on to the terrace for people sitting having breakfast. This was horrible and gave no privacy into the room at all. Thankfully it was raining but had it been sunny I would have had people sitting right up by my only window in the room. * They have waterproof mattress protectors on the bed which made it feel like you were sleeping wrapped in tin foil it was so hot and it crackled loudly every time you moved. * Pillows were either absolutely enormous and too big to put your head on or so flat and small they were useless. * No bathmat provided for the floor while showering, bit of a safety concern and I had to use a pool towel. No where to hang towels in the bathroom when you’ve used them…it was all just lacking in thought. * No waste bin in the bedroom * Horrid yellow lights in the room * It’s very dark and depressing inside. * Bright light over the door to highlight where the door was in the night but it lit the room up through the night making it hard to ignore and sleep. * Breakfast is only available from 8.30am which is very late. It was poor, stale bread and dirty jars with cereal in with a very poor selection of foods. Overall this was poor quality, grim and depressing and absolutely not worth the cost.

Breakfast buffet is super invincible and delicious! Especially fruit selection is especially great! The hotel will take the initiative to help parking is free. Hotel dinner is not recommended for single or buffet, the taste is very general, the ingredients are not too fresh. The sea view room has a beautiful sunrise view of the sea on the west side of the sunrise. Also saw the double rainbow! The on-site walking trail is also very convenient to walk to the sandy beach of Sao Rafeal. In the morning, it is empty and there is no one, just like enjoying a private beach. The only downside is that the spa is charged separately by number of people, and the free swimming pool also has to buy a swimming cap to enter.

Possibly the worst hotel I have ever stayed in The staff were actually embarrassed to work there Vile rooms disgusting dirty smelly and should be shut down I feel sorry if any one goes just glad we didn't have kids with us Shut this place now
