Overall nice hotel, large rooms with a simple but beautiful design! The rest of the hotel needed a new decor to match the rooms! The area is quiet with the beach close by! To improve the cleanliness, we noticed several dead mosquitoes on the wall when we arrived that could have been cleaned and were not!

This hotel was excellent and had amazing facilities. The pool area was great and had plenty of sunbeds. The food in the hotel was delicious. There was a wide variety of food for breakfast and evening meals, which I thoroughly enjoyed. The drinks in the hotel were also reasonably priced. There is a snack bar by the pool which offers a variety of food throughout the day. The staff were friendly and very attentive. The room was quite big and had a balcony which had an excellent view of the sea. The bathroom was a good size with a powerful shower. The bedroom was cleaned daily to a high standard. The hotel was located outside the main town of Albufeira however it was easily accessible using taxis. The hotel did offer a shuttle to the main town however this was only twice a day. I would recommend getting an uber to get to and from the hotel as they came quickly and were cheap especially compared to the UK. Overall, the hotel was amazing and I would definitely go back again!

Lovely clean hotel, although was out of the way! Local spar was about 40 mins walk away! There is a nearer shop tommys supermarket but does not have much in! Uber was a must to bars! The staff were polite, although some of the reception staff were a bit dry at times! The rooms were clean and plenty of room some ants were around in the bathroom though! We were half board and breakfast was ok, the usual stuff! Dinner was ok but found we struggled a bit, had our children been with us it would of been hard as there were no chips on any evening! All in all it was a nice week stay. Pool was clean and always found sunbeds. All in all a lovely weeks stay .

our family hosted at the hotel in beginning of August 2024. it was really wonderful place! the hotel is very clean-100%, breakfast -100%, pool area clean, silent, always found sun beds-100%, Sao Rafael beach 5 min. in taxi ~eur5 , the people are so positive and serviceable-100% it was really good place!! we reached this wonderful Hotel by chance as booked Villa Bella Vista by Bedzy and escaped from there, Don't come closer to those villa!!!!!! But Hotel Baia Grande it's the Place!

Très bon séjour, hôtel au calme, reposant à côté de la foule d’Albufeira … pour ceux qui aiment marcher, criques, plages et restos de plage à proximité ( 1/4 h de marche ) , marina ( 1/2h de marche) . Possibilité de louer un véhicule à partir de l’hôtel, taxis et ubers très faciles d’accès … Personnel très sympathique. Un très bon séjour .

Recomendo este hotel, eu e a minha familia já não passamos sem ficar uns dias de férias neste hotel. Estas ferias fomos supreendidos por um excelente barbecue á beira piscina do hotel, foi fantastico. Um clima muito tranquilo e descontraido ao som da musica tradicional portuguesa, e com uma companhia sensacional. Perguntei ao meu filho de 10 anos, o quê que ele tinha gostado mais nas férias do Algarve, e ele respondeu-me que tinha sido a noite do Barbecue no Hotel Baia Grande. O Barbecue tinha muita variedade e a comida era de excelente qualidade, e estáva tudo muito bem organizado, tudo o staff do hotel e administracao estão de parabens. Evidenciaram muita experiencia na realizacão deste evento.

We stayed here in July, a family of 3 (2 adults and a nearly 2 year old). The hotel itself is lovely and welcoming. The pool area was good but it would have been nice to have a slide or something for the childrens pool. We stayed B&B and the breakfast was good, we always managed to find something to eat and our daughter had something different each day. The rooms were spotless, cleaned every day and a perfect size for the 3 of us. We ate a couple of times by the pool and each time it was lovely, and the drinks were fab. We also made the most of happy hour at the piano bar (the young man that works at the piano bar was lovely and helpful). An extra special thanks to Maria and the other staff members who were all great with our daughter, playing and interacting with her and helping us get high chairs etc when we needed it. The bbq on a Thursday was great value for money also, a great selection of food on offer. We would return in future

Had an amazing week in Baía Grande hotel, stunning hotel, amazingly friendly staff every one of them. Rooms cleaned every day, pool setting lovely with day beds, swing chairs comfy sofa/chairs as well as loungers, plenty of shaded areas too if required. Snack bar by pool serves variety of food and drinks at reasonable prices. The hotel was a bit “out of the way” but this did not bother us as we had lots of lovely walks exploring the surrounding areas and still walked into old town etc ( around 30/45 mins) taxi coats around 10€

Nice hotel but not child friendly when it come to prams. We had to literally carry the pram up and down stairs to access the pool. Not really ideal. Pool bar food was amazing but hot food not so much. Luckily we ate out. Location quote but nice. Would return but not with a child until or was of walking g age due to lack of ramps
