We have just returned from this accommodation and could not fault it. We arrived at the airport and got on the C6 bus which dropped us off about 200 yards from this hotel. We were on the 30th floor so not good if you like heights but view amazing. Appartment excellent, really spacious. It seemed it had recently been refurbished. There were only two of us but it would have slept four people. Large bathroom containing towels, toothbrushes, toothpaste and shower gel on arrival. The kitchen also contained washing up liquid and cleaners. Maid service every day with clean towels. Continental breakfast included. Five minute walk to the beach. Would recommend this appartment. Alicante is lovely too.

We stayed here for the weekend during a recent city break. It is true that you get what you pay for and this is the case for Hotel Leuka. The reception and welcome was good. The rooms are clean with comfortable beds. The bathroom is a bath come shower arrangement with good water pressure and temperature the water was hot. The location is in a side street away from the main roads and only a short walk (3 minutes) from a C6 bus stop for transfer to and from the airport. The hotel is quite noisy as having hard (stone) floors with any footsteps or moving furniture can be heard. The walls between rooms are quite thin and people talking can be quite easily heard. Breakfast is plentiful though the scrambled egg and bacon were'luke warm'. There is a bar next door which we sat in for a couple of evenings. The drinks were really inexpensive. We enjoyed walking around the town and to the harbour with a day trip to Benidorm on the train. There's quite a lot to see in a weekend in Alicante and certainly worth a visit.

FANTASTIC STAY, the staff (mainly the young ladies) were so friendly and efficient and hard working, always cleaning and checking that things were OK. The place was clean, the beds were comfortable, location was great, kitchen was sufficient and the outside area was cosy. I would certainly recommend this hostel.

This is the 2nd time I’ve used this hotel, it’s ideal from the train station- literally across the road.
Especially when coming off a lengthy train ride with a child so we could catch an early morning flight from Alicante Airport.
Clean check in area and very friendly staff , helpful regarding public transport and there are free tea & coffee making facilities in the lobby in the evening .
The rooms are adequate with aircon if needed in the summer.
Clean bathroom and toilet with plenty of towels and toiletries , this is not a holiday hotel but for 1 night stays especially for the airport as the bus stop is just over the road.
As a woman travelling on her own and another occasion with s young child I have felt perfectly safe.

GGuest UserThere’s a clean and smart reception area, but the reception staff weren’t very welcoming, we arrived tired and late after a delayed flight and a smile and nice greeting would have made us feel more welcome. The rooms are very spacious with a big bed which we found very comfortable. However the room lacks any facilities whatsoever and way below what we expect for a 4 star hotel. We were shocked on waking the first morning to find there are no tea and coffee facilities?! Also no iron or ironing board. Plus only one arm chair was provided even though there is ample space, so we both couldn’t sit down and relax in the room. The noise from other rooms and the street on the Friday night was horrendous, even on the 5th floor. We didn’t sleep at all. We suspect this is because weekends are much busier, the breakfast room on the Saturday morning was absolutely packed. The breakfast itself was very good for 9 euros we think it’s worth it, they offer a good selection of gluten free items (I have an allergy). But as I mention above, Saturday morning breakfast wasn’t enjoyable due to how busy it was. In fact the waitress ushered us off the table as soon as we finished our last bite (I still had some tea left to drink!) as she said there was a queue to get in. In summary, a mixed stay but too many negatives and we wouldn’t stay again.

GGuest UserThis is an excellent hotel choice. It is modern, spacious, and comfortable hotel. The rooms are very nice, with well sized balcony, the beds are comfortable, and the modern bathroom is functional, bright, with plenty of towels and nice hot water. The staff are efficient, approachable and helpful. The cafe seating area is outside road side, which is very great for to relax and just let the world pass by. The pool is excellent, with lovely decking. There's lots of eateries nearby, and the beautiful beach is just a short walk. The tram line is right outside. For the price you pay I doubt you can do better.

GGuest UserNow there are a lot of people that this hotel is not this and not that. Let me say that if you are not over weight it’s a nice still to the Mariana and restaurants and beach to be fair. This is not on the front but what a lovely place rooms are clean with a mini bar that’s a nice addition to the room. Safes in the room and overall clean today and a excellent nice stay. As I always say I stay away a lot with my job and review fairly this place was lovely. The roof top pool was not massive but what do you expect for a roof lol. Nice little bar up there too. Have to say they tried there best to accommodate my early check in coukd not promise but they did there best. The front of house areas and the reception team are a credit to this hotel

GGuest UserI spent 5 nights here in the beginning of January 2023. For people with healthy legs, the hotel is a walking distance away from the Alicante city centre. The location is a little bit hidden down a hill; be prepared to go down and up some stairs during your stay. Otherwise the location was not that awkward in my opinion as some people have commented. Lovely sea views, the sunrises and sunsets were amazing. Very importantly, don't trust Google Maps GPS too much when you approach the hotel from the city centre via the avenue Villajoyosa! At least for me Maps placed the hotel somewhere inside the big mountain nearby, which was obviously incorrect. So if Maps does the same to you, keep walking, there will be hotel signs further the Villajoyosa avenue. The hotel was pretty good for a 3 star hotel, a tad luxurious even. It had everything needed. Gym, tennis court, pool (not open in the Winter months), restaurant, 24 h reception. Very helpful staff and good cleaning. No coffee/tea making facilities or a fridge inside the rooms, but you can request them for free from the reception. Breakfast was okay, nothing special, loved the views in the cafeteria though! There were some issues with my room, but the staff promptly took action and changed my room from a standard to a superior one. The standard room was a bit chilly, and in the superior room you could hear people's conversations in other rooms. But no biggie, I could sleep just fine. All in all, it was a very good stay for a 3 star hotel! I didn't expect too much and was pleasantly surprised.

GGuest UserThe Budget hotel was great value as usual, but the restaurant at the adjacent Ibis was understaffed and tables were not even set out. Food was not presented well; School dinner-ish and no table service. The one member of staff (at the bar) taking orders also had to deal with bar orders. Because the tables were grouped together there was not enough seating for diners. One at our table had to separate the tables for social distancing - there was no member of staff who showed any interest. Completed orders were shouted for from the bar area. Contrast this with Barcelona the night before. Why so different?

GGuest UserWe had the worst meal we have ever had in Spain last night. My husband had fish. No idea what it was but it looked and tasted disgusting. I had pork with potaotes which tuned out to be tiny Duchess potatoes probably frozen and reheated. We did register our views and were given a discount of €10 which was an unasked for token but we would have preferred a decent meal. On arrival at 20.15 we were told they had cancelled our reservation as were late. We did not know there was a set arrival time. The receptionist said he had rung me 3 times but I had no missed calls on my phone. We were given a room. An awful experience and we will not be staying here again.

GGuest UserOnly an overnight stay before our morning flight back to uk. We wanted somewhere within walking distance to the city centre and with parking. The hotel was easy to find with free parking, and also a 15 min easy walk to the bars and restaurants in the centre. In the morning we had an easy 10 minute drive to the airport. Our room and bathroom were a bit dated but clean and comfortable which is all we required. We didn’t eat in the hotel but had a couple of drinks out on the terrace when we returned to the hotel in the evening. Given its location and free parking we would certainly visit again.
