You have to stay here! Everything is perfect. Hotel is lovely. Staff are so welcoming and helpful. We had a problem and one staff member had excellent English and could solve our problem. The breakfast in the morning was delicious. Thank you again, I highly recommend your hotel.

The experience of this B&B really exceeded my expectations! The room is very high-end, fully equipped and modern, the bedding is comfortable, and the bathroom is clean and tidy, making people feel as warm as home. Parking is also very convenient. The B&B has spacious parking spaces, so there is no need to worry about parking problems. It is especially suitable for self-driving travelers. What impressed me most was the service of the B&B. The staff was very warm and thoughtful, making people feel at home from check-in to check-out. They not only provided detailed local travel guides, but also took the initiative to help arrange itineraries, and even recommended some unknown niche attractions, making my trip more colorful. Before leaving, the B&B also thoughtfully prepared local specialties as gifts, which made me feel very warm. This kind of meticulous service and human touch is the essence of B&B. It is not only a place to stay, but also a place where people can feel the local culture and enthusiasm. If I have the opportunity to come to Datong again, I will definitely choose to stay in this B&B again and recommend it to my friends. This stay experience has given me a deeper feeling for the city of Datong, and I look forward to coming again next time!

It's just across the street from Huayan Temple. Go there when it opens at 8am to avoid tour groups and large crowds. The room is large, and the upstairs is quiet, clean, and thoughtfully provides disposable bath towels and toilet seats, as well as body lotion and facial cleanser. The proprietress is kind and friendly. Datong is not cold at the end of October. Come and experience the charm of ancient buildings in Shanxi! A small suggestion, it would be more convenient to install a full-length mirror behind the door.

The facilities are great. The rooms are incredibly nice, clean and full of details. As for the staff, they are super nice. Especially Rio, the general manager, we had a problem with not being able to contact the hotel at the next destination and she did us the favor of speaking with them. Her kindness, poise, willingness, dedication and how well she speaks English saved our trip. We will always have great memories of this place and of her in particular. 10/10.

Spacious room, clean and comfortable. Breakfasts were more than adequate with a choice of varieties. Hotel location was ok just outside the wall though neighbouring shops were all shuttered. Taxis plentiful and inexpensive. Nightly dinner was at the hotel restaurant - good food, surprisingly very affordable prices and extremely good services from the staff. What stood out most were the very helpful, cheerful staff, at the front desk, restaurants, and cleaners!

Very close to the Datong South station, about 5 min by car. Spacious rooms, bathrobes provided, excellent tea (proper tea, no teabags!) inside the room. We stayed for 2 days. Easy ride to the ancient city of Datong, about 15-20 min, I think. The only inconvenience was that the heating is on all the time, i had to keep the window openn throughout the night. And the reception is not 24/7 as advertised. When we tried to check out at 6:30 am to go to the Hanging Monastery, there was noone. We called them afyerwards, and everything was sorted though, they even let us come back and leave our bags till the evening when we had spare time before the train.

Excellent. Done in the traditional hotel style but with very modern in-room amenities. Bathroom is clean and private, with nice shower including good quality—free flow—shampoo and bodywash, clean toilet and a proper door (no glass bathrooms here!). It’s so hard to find a hotel room like this these days. Most importantly, all the staff were totally amazing, and the manager is so friendly and keen to help and can speak some English which makes things all the easier. There are quite a few shaokao and noodle places around the hotel, and importantly, the snowman drink place (蜜雪冰城) is not too far away! The hotel is just a couple of Ks south of the most popular entrance to the amazing ancient wall (大同古城), and in the other direction, about five hundred metres to another nice park called Mingtan Park where I flew my new drone for the first time ever while a local man practiced perfectly his Taoist meditation completely undeterred by the annoying whirring sound of the drone! My only regret is not planning more than a single night here. There’s so much more to Datong than just the Yungang Grottoes and the Hengshan Hanging Temple (though they are both totally spectacular!), so stay a couple of nights at least if you can.

The location of the B&B is easy to find, very close to various attractions in Gulou. Very convenient for traveling. The room is quite big, the hygiene is very good, and it is very warm. The lady at the front desk is very welcoming. I will stay here again next time.

I chose this hotel because it is just a twenty minute walk north of Datong South Station. It is right next to Fantawild amusement park, so is a good choice for families (Most of the guests were families with young kids). Everything inside the hotel is brand new. One of the hosts at reception was exceptional, and she not only offered wonderful device and care to me but also to every guest I saw her interacting with (I didn't learn her name, alas). One interesting note: I stayed there on a Friday and Saturday night, and there was a firework show on both evenings in Fanatwild next door. The booming sound startled me at first, but I quickly realized what it was.

📍Location: The B&B has an excellent location, convenient transportation around, free parking, close to the city wall and bus station, convenient to popular attractions, and various specialty shops, supermarkets and restaurants nearby. There is also a hot pot on the first floor of the B&B, which is very convenient and meets all the needs of daily life. Whether it is foraging or shopping, it is easy and comfortable. 🏠Room: The room is ingeniously decorated, the decoration style is simple but warm, and the details show quality. The layout is neat and orderly, without a sense of crampedness. The bedding is soft and comfortable, clean and tidy, and you can sleep well all night. The bathroom is separated into dry and wet areas, and the toiletries are all available, and the quality is high, exuding a pleasant fragrance, which is very comfortable to use. 💁♀️Service: The service staff is hospitable and answers all questions. From consultation before booking to various needs during the stay, they have given timely and thoughtful responses and help. Not only did they recommend interesting places and food guides around us, but they also helped arrange vehicles for travel, making our journey smoother and unimpeded. 🌟Features: The B&B also provides snacks and fruits, as well as breakfast for the next day, which is also very rich. You can also drink tea and chat here in your spare time, and there are also coffee and drinks to enjoy a pleasant time. At night, the lights in the courtyard are on, the atmosphere is extremely romantic, and it adds a different color to the entire accommodation experience. The stay experience is perfect. If I have the opportunity to come here again, I will definitely choose this B&B again without hesitation, and I strongly recommend it to all travelers! 👍👍👍👍
