PPumPhaTiewThis was a great place to stay. The owners were friendly, attentive, and recommended many places to visit in Datong. The accommodation was clean and the breakfast was delicious. It was conveniently located within walking distance of various tourist attractions.
I traveled with 7 people, and Chuanshi Heyuan Homestay even helped arrange a van with a driver for my group. The van took us to the Yungang Caves and Hengshan Mountain. I was very impressed. If I return to Datong, I will definitely stay here again.

GGuest UserFacilities: The design is excellent, and all the amenities are thoughtfully arranged and very practical. The bed and pillows are incredibly comfortable; lying down felt so therapeutic, and I fell asleep almost instantly.
Hygiene: The hygiene was impeccable.
Environment: The location is perfect, within walking distance of Daiwang Mansion, Drum Tower, and Huayan Temple. After watching the iron flower performance at night, it was just a short stroll back to bed.
Service: The service was incredibly attentive and prompt. The butler recommended many delicious local eateries, and they were all indeed fantastic. The tea at the front desk was also delightful; I'd fill my thermos every time I went out – it was so comforting. They even offered a thoughtful bedtime gift, making the overall experience incredibly pleasant.

CCornelis HeemskerkWe had a great stay for 4 nights at this homestay. Our room was very comfortable and offered enough space. The bed was quite had but we had a good sleep every night. The breakfast was only Chinese style but different every day. Coffee could be taken from their coffee corner. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

BBramantyoReally ideal place to stay in Datong. 2.4km from the railway station (north) and close to the wall. Places to eat nearby. Hotel host was really friendly. Good communication. And gave us a late checkout until 7pm! They were really nice to give us a late checkout at that time. The rooms are clean. Toilet was clean. Modern. And cozy. It is located in shop 1-4. Where the shop owners were really nice too. Overall a really pleasant and enjoyable place to stay if you want to visit the Yungang Grottoe, The wall. 🙂

Let me focus on breakfast: it is very rich, with local specialties, mutton offal, pot cakes, and noodles are all quite delicious👍! The service of the store is also super good. The small courtyard has good privacy and is very quiet. It is highly recommended to live here if you are traveling with children or elders! The address is very convenient, near Wudingmen, and you can walk to the surrounding area. When I left, the store gave me a bag of their own millet. The service was really detailed. Thank you, thank you. It was a great experience!

Our stay was a pleasant surprise, far exceeding our expectations. From the moment we entered the lobby, the staff's friendly smiles and efficient, professional service impressed us. The rooms were elegantly designed, the bedding was very comfortable, and the bathroom featured a separate shower and toilet with ample water pressure – every detail reflected a commitment to quality.
The hotel's meticulous service was particularly commendable: upon learning we were traveling by car, they proactively offered suggestions on nearby transportation. This provided a perfect way to relax after a long journey.
The excellent location, comprehensive facilities, and personalized service complemented each other perfectly, making for a comfortable and pleasant stay. It wasn't just a place to rest during our trip, but also a part of a wonderful memory. This will definitely be our top choice for our next visit, and we will highly recommend it to our friends and family!

The hotel's location is exceptionally advantageous, nestled in the Dongxin Plaza area. Surrounded by well-developed commercial facilities and convenient transportation, it's incredibly convenient for both commuting and shopping, saving me significant time and energy on my business trips.
The front desk staff were highly professional, and the reception process was efficient and smooth. During check-in, they were enthusiastic and proactive, not only completing the formalities quickly but also patiently answering my questions about the hotel's facilities and surroundings. This attentive service made me feel cared for and respected even in a foreign city.
The guest rooms were comfortable and pleasant, with a well-planned layout and elegant, simple decor. The bed had the perfect firmness and the high-quality linens provided a good night's sleep, ensuring a restful night's sleep after a busy day. The in-room amenities were well-equipped and functioned well, meeting all my business needs.
The hotel's dining service was also commendable, with a rich and nutritious breakfast menu featuring both local specialties and more traditional Western dishes, catering to every palate. Furthermore, the hotel's strict security measures and excellent hygiene in both public areas and guest rooms create a safe and clean experience.

UUser500I could not ask for anything more. It’s a simple place to sleep and I chose the room with the shared bathroom. I was exhausted and slept well. The staff are kind and it is safe. There’s a hot water boiler provided. Photos show the amazing old town.
