As a former tour & cruise guide I can gladly report that the gracious hosts of this grand view hilltop farm offer superb cuisine, including delicious wines from their own vines that surround the property. The well-appointed rooms & suites are quiet, cosy and comfortable and with the huge pool you will not want to leave. An excellent choice I shall gladly return to.

We spent 5 days at cascina Desderi, all of which were fantastic. The hosts and staff were great and 100 % service minded. We had two dinners here, and both food and wine were wonderful. Splendid views and walks along the hills as well as the vines. Enjoying their lovely wine in the evening sun was great, highly recommended!

Davvero un ottimo alloggio nelle colline in mezzo ai vigneti per staccare tutto e rilassarsi un po’, personale cortese e disponibile stanze belle spaziose, i bagni magari un filo meno, colazione servita con vista piscina, tutto molto curato, approvato anche per il futuro, consigliato.

Wow! Great, large room with warm and soft bedding, an absolutely beautiful vista overlooking a vineyard, wonderful hosts, and fine food. Thank you, Francisco, for being so welcoming. It's just a hop and skip to Neive and Barbaresco with their stunning vistas and vineyards.

When the Corona restrictions had been lifted, one of the very first places we wanted to visit – and return to – was Cascina Desderi. This spring we went back to Cascina Desderi, and discovered that the owners and hosts not only had survived the pandemic, but turned the place into an even better place. The owners had used the Corona years to improve the place, and this spring it was better than ever! The delicious dishes served by Francesco, the friendly comments and advice given by Roald – and Trond’s guided tour of the wine country, was better than ever. Excellent - he had obviously spent the days improving his manuscript. The tour in the spring was a happy return – now we plan to go back when they harvest the grapes later in September. We found this place by chance and we booked it just the evening before. Actually it has been a real pleasant surprise. A very beautiful location, a lovely house and a key differentiator: Francesco. A professional and friendly person who has made our stay very comfortable and lovely. We were offered for a dinner and when we learned about the menu, we were a little doubtful as it was a kind of a meeting point between Italy and Norway. Actually we were wrong as eventually we enjoyed it very much

Had been to Cascina Desderi a few years ago with Hagestad Touring on a Wine Tour in Italy. Then we were impressed by the cordial reception with wine tasting and delicious lunch and the possibility of swimming in the pool and the purchase of their good wines. This time we returned together with some friends for an overnight stay with dinner to be able to enjoy the hospitality a little more. We were accommodated in nice rooms and felt a bit luxurious as we could just walk out to the lovely pool directly from the room. From the very moment of arrival, we were very well taken care of by Francesco, who also made sure that everything worked perfectly throughout the evening. After a good night's sleep in comfortable beds and purchasing superb wines, we said goodby to definitely return to this gem in Piemonte! Arrivederci!

I have been here several times with friends, and we do love the place, the lovely hosts, the best vines, and fantastic food. Relaxing by the pool, peace🙌🥂😎looking forward to be back in October 🥂❤️The best 🌞
