The hotel is on the edge of a cliff and the view is very good, especially for watching the fireworks display. We stayed at the hotel on the night of the fireworks display. It was very comfortable to watch it directly in the room. There was no need to go to the crowded beach. The price of 2900 is not cheap. It seems to be only 1000 in the off-season.
The hotel is some distance from the train station, so walking is not practical. The hotel has a shuttle bus that leaves every 20 minutes but is often not on time. As a result, we didn't get on the bus after eating near the train station that night. The taxi back to the hotel cost more than 2,000 yen. expensive. In fact, it is very convenient to take the Yuyou Line bus.
The hotel is very large and there are many people. It has three hot springs. We soaked in two of them and they were all great.

The hardware of the hotel is good, but it is very expensive on the day of watching the fireworks. The price is more than 2,000 per night, but it is not easy to get a room. What I'm speechless about is that the automatic check-in process is so terrible. I spent a full 40 minutes in front of my iPad. The operator didn't understand Chinese or English and couldn't understand. He had to write down his identity information and his domestic address. Everything had to be video-recorded with the operator. Make sure I am myself before I will send you a room password. This is the first time in my life to experience such a stay. There weren't any waiters in the hotel, but luckily it was not easy to get it done in the end.

At the end of May 2023, I booked a 3-night stay with 2 meals
Facilities: The hotel opened in May 2021 is basically equivalent to a newly opened hotel. The rooms and public areas are very new and clean. The room is super big, enough for 4 people. You can see part of the sea view, and you can watch the fireworks display on the top floor, but we still go to the beach to watch the fireworks by ourselves. Downstairs there is Powerless Children's Paradise, nearby Seven and Lawson are very convenient, and there are large supermarkets maxvalue and drugstores within 10 minutes' walk. It takes 2 minutes to walk to the central area of the Fireworks Festival, and 5 minutes to walk to the pier to take a boat to Hatsushima.
Service: There are several non-Japanese staff in the hotel, who seem to be from India. They are fluent in Japanese and English, and the communication is basically barrier-free, but there are no Chinese-speaking staff. Consulting about buying medicine, watching fireworks, borrowing a thermometer, helping to call a car, etc., the service is very thoughtful and enthusiastic. It was raining when we left on the last day, and the front desk took us to a taxi with an umbrella.
Environment: Everyone is very friendly, about 90% of Japanese local tourists, the atmosphere is very good.
Insufficient: The next day, because the child was uncomfortable, I stayed in the room for a whole day, so I hung do not disturb on the door. The room did not need to be cleaned. Housekeeping put the replacement towels, bathrobes, etc. at the door. On the third day, the child got better. After going out to play for a day, he posted something to be cleaned on the door early in the morning. After a long day of playing, he still piled up all the things at the door of the room like the day before. He didn’t even notice that I posted it on the door. The sign is to be cleaned. But the flaws do not conceal the advantages, it is not a very so-called thing.

I wish I could give it 5 stars! Let's start with the bad - the hotel thought of just about everything except effective soundproofing. It was unpleasant to hear the traffic at all times when in the room even with the balcony closed, but you could find a way to accept it. What really killed it was 2 evenings in a row hearing a kid running above you for .5-1 hr at a time and being woken up in the middle of the night twice because someone decided to enjoy their onsen on their balcony and was talking and laughing loudly. We stayed for 5 nights and the weekend was the worst as the hotel had a higher occupancy rate. Without that...there is no good, there is only great: - Check-in is private, seated in the lobby with welcoming refreshments - Private onsen on your balcony (in addition to the large one for all guests) - amazing! - Room accommodations very well appointed with numerous amenities and very spacious - Parking available on your room level very convenient (not all, but some... we stayed on 4th floor so even exit from garage was available on our floor) - Restaurants - we had breakfast which had great options and service, we also enjoyed a room service for dinner which offered ability to order from multiple of restaurants. We didn't have dinner in the restaurants as we didn't find the menus appealing for all in our party. - Location is great, short walk to most things you'd want to do in Atami, across the street from a beach (not a great one, but people use it) and relatively easy to get out by car (especially if you ignore GPS directions that guide to tiny streets)

■ Location Take a bus (220 yen cash only) from Shuzenji Station and get off at Miyukibashi, 2-3 minutes. The other side across the new bridge along the Katsura River. About 7 minutes on foot from Shuzenji Onsen Station on the route bus. Large high-rise inn. The scenery might be beautiful during autumn leaves. ■Nearby Attractions We recommend going to Niji no Sato on a free electric bicycle. The bicycle was also made by Panasonic and was new, and it was powerful even on the slopes. You can get there in about 20 minutes. At Niji no Sato, you can enjoy steam locomotives and views of Mt. Fuji. Also, if you have a receipt for staying at Shuzenji Onsen, Niji no Sato will give you a 30% discount. ■ Room The room was spacious and the bed was set on tatami mats, so it was comfortable to sleep. It was nice to have a humidifier. ■ Meals Buffet style with a competitive number of items. If you are with children, you can enjoy it in an entertainment mood. It might be more fun if you make it a fair specification such as cotton candy. On the contrary, it is a mess, so it is not recommended for those who want to enjoy it slowly or emphasize the atmosphere. ■ Amenities In front of the Daily Yamazaki convenience store in the ryokan, you can take whatever you want as much as you like. I think that management efforts to reduce personnel and maintenance costs are rational, only for Obako Hotel. I think the service of choosing a yukata is very good. Wouldn't it be nice to have a special yukata for a fee? If there is a design that looks good on Instagram. ■ Hospitality The check-in time was around 17:00, so I contacted them in advance. At that time, there are only two dinners at 18:00 and 18:30, and the 19:45 two-part system is not being done at this time, so I hurried to the hotel without eating lunch. At the front desk of the inn, it was said that after 18:00, there would be a two-part system at 19:30, and there was a discrepancy between the phone and time. Although I complained about it, the woman at the reception was indifferent, with no apology or confirmation, whether the complaint was a daily occurrence. Perhaps the person on the phone misunderstood and told the time, but I asked if there was 19:45, and although I insisted that it was not, I regret that I told the wrong time. . I can't help but make a mistake, but I was disappointed because there was no follow-up at the reception.

I recently had the delight of staying at Izu Marriott, and I must say, it was a truly wonderful experience. From the moment I arrived, I was blown away by the stunning location of the hotel. Nestled in the picturesque town of Izu, the hotel is surrounded by stunning natural beauty. The hotel itself is equally impressive. It is well-designed and beautifully decorated, creating a relaxing and inviting atmosphere. The rooms are spacious and luxurious, with all the amenities you could need for a comfortable stay. What really stood out to me, however, was the exceptional service provided by the staff at Izu Marriott. They were incredibly polite and accommodating, going above and beyond to ensure that I had a memorable stay. Whether I needed recommendations for local attractions or assistance with my room, the staff was always available and eager to help. Especially thank Roshan and the front desk team, who provide exceptional service to us.

The room is well-equipped. After the hot springs, there are ice bars, ice cream to choose from (all you can eat), and Ye Ming (ramen). The breakfast is very rich and the choices are diverse. After the hot springs in the morning, there is a lotus (all you can drink), which is great😄👍🏻

I suddenly decided to go to Numazu and made a reservation on the night of the day of my stay. I was confused because the entrance was a little difficult to understand, but the front desk was simple and clean and very beautiful. The room feels like an ordinary hotel, but the bath is amazing! I imagined a unit bath in an ordinary hotel, but the unit bath here is wide without a feeling of oppression, and it is partly wood grain and the design is nice. I thought it was a hotel made by Daiwa House. The price is not high, so I will definitely use it again next time I go to Numazu. The bath was a high score anyway. By the way, there is a corner with a microwave oven and vending machine on the top floor. There is a 7-Eleven diagonally opposite the hotel, so you don't have to worry if you're hungry in the middle of the night! The station is close, and the parking lot (1 day 1000 yen) is also available, so the convenience is excellent.

4.4/5
Excellent
FFlavioI’m a little torn to rate the location average because it can be a pain to get to if you don’t have a car, but the view from the room (apparently all rooms have view of the sea) is great.
A lot of variety for breakfast but nothing really stood out.
I didn’t get to visit the onsen because they don’t allow tattooed people.
I would stay again, especially in summer on a fireworks day!
LlegokingGreat value for money. It is very close to Atami Station, a 5-minute walk, very convenient. After exiting the JR station, turn left and walk straight ahead (passing the bus station, there is a Family Mart opposite). Self check-in, remember to ask the staff for a kettle when checking in, as there is no one in the room; disposable items such as toothbrushes and cups can be obtained from the elevator. However, breakfast is a small sandwich and coffee, which is not full and is not recommended. You can store your luggage in the hotel before check-in (automatic luggage box on the first floor). The MOA Art Museum can be reached directly by bus in front of the hotel, but it is still recommended to go to Atami Station to take the bus, otherwise there may be no seats. The staff is rather cold-faced and unenthusiastic. Another bad thing is that on the way from Atami Station to the hotel, you will pass by a heavenly burial ground, which is a bit unlucky~ Everything else is perfect~
GGuest UserBecause it is near ”MuddyCat” that I wanted to go, there is a tablet terminal at the entrance, and the face is initially registered, and the password and the room number are sent to the email. Take a picture of your face on a tablet and enter your password. There was no person at the front desk and it was unmanned. Payment is PayPay (QR code is at the front desk) or it seems to be a way to put cash in the envelope. If you rent a towel or toothbrush at another price, you will pay the same (there was) I didn't find a sleeping clothes, so you should bring it. (if you didn't put it, there was 100 in Max Valley) There was no kitchen, but there was a refrigerator and microwave. The facilities were clean.
GGuest User2Stayed on the first day of the three consecutive holidays in the month. 2 I thought about it a week ago and looked for an inn, but there was nowhere (apart from the stupid high place), it was almost the only choice. It is a big hotel with a transfer bus from the station. It was close to Manyo Park and so on. There is also a convenience store in front of you. Dinner was delicious and the best except for the iron plate baking of pork roses and the western style pot (this 2 goods were better not. In terms of quality, not quantity.). The bath is not good or not necessary. It was a Japanese room, so it was normal to come to lay a futon, but when I told the front desk, I was saved because I could pass the 「 service 」 and be free by myself. Breakfast was good level on average, but the richness of the type is a surprise level. It may not be able to eat even if it stays for a long time in the feeling that there is nothing in the Japanese and Western countries. It is a recommended inn.
GGuest UserWe came to see the blooming Jacaranda Trees with the deep blue flowers. KKR Hotel Atami is a little off from the main strip but an easy to walk downtown. (Also quiet at night) It is on a hill and from the 5th floor there is nothing between you and the Sweeping Ocean! Wonderful View! And the Natural Hot Spring Bath, both indoor and outdoor have the same sweeping views of the ocean. The Outdoor Bath, called ”Seiki no Yu”- bath under the twinkling Stars, has some Zen Rock Gardens around it--quite relaxing. We stayed in the modern bedroom which was smallish, but clean and had everything we needed. We had the summertime Half-Board Plan which included an amazing array of Japanese dishes for dinner, beautifully decorated and delicious. Free Parking was in the Courtyard, the Entrance was a little hard to find, but everyone was helpful. We will stay again.
GGuest UserThe facilities are old, but Showa and good. Even during Golden Week, the price is stable Itoen Group. The dinner is a decent selection and the taste is reasonable. ◎ with alcohol. Breakfast is at a level that seems to be enough compared to night. After all, I think this inn is exhausted by the ”Roman bath”. I entered both night and morning. It is worth entering with nostalgic. Hot water is also good. Because it is a long-established hotel, there are stairs and steps everywhere in the lobby, room, moving, Rome bath. I saw an old man who moved in a wheelchair climbed while supporting the stairs and his son folded his wheelchair and climbed the stairs. I don't think people with disabilities can enjoy this hotel.
GGuest UserI stayed in a Japanese-style room in the main building, but I was able to enjoy a relaxing and relaxing trip with a Showa-era feel. I can't deny that the facility feels old, but I think the rooms were well-cleaned. There are three public baths, including the main building annex, and even though we were using them during Golden Week, the public baths were very crowded. We recommend that you consider the times when it is likely to be crowded. The buffet has a wide variety and is delicious, and comes with an all-you-can-drink option, so it's a great value. However, due to the coronavirus pandemic, the time limit has been changed to 70 minutes, so it will be a very busy meal. If possible, I would like to go back to 90 minutes to 2 hours. It's a 15-minute walk from the station, so you can walk downhill from the station, so you can walk to the hotel while eating and sightseeing.Although it's uphill on the way back, it's a location where you won't get bored even if you try your best to walk. A shuttle bus is also available. By the way, Atami gets quite congested during the leisure season, so I personally think it would be difficult to get there by car. There are several ITO EN affiliated hotels in Atami, so I'm not sure where to go next. If there was one feature, I think it would be a hotel I would want to visit again, so I would like to expect more features and services from this hotel.
SSouravThis is a traditional Japanese Ryokan style hotel. All instructions are in English however, means there are foreigners regularly staying here. There is a open air onsen (hot bath) which is very pleasant. Must be reserved in advance. Drinks can be bought at 200 yen a pop. This is a fully unmanned Ryokan meaning it self check in and self checkout ! The rooms are very small (4 meter square) which barely fits a bed. Pictures on the travel sites about the rooms in this hotel are deceiving ! The location is sort of OK from Kinomiya station but it's quite far from Atami city center and Atami sun beach . We took at taxi which was 1200 yen. Kinomiya Jinja is 25 minutes by foot.
