I used to visit Cancun every year with my family, but this may be my last trip. I booked a deluxe 3-bedroom villa, but upon arrival, we waited over an hour for it to be ready, only to be given an outdated, poorly furnished, and smelly unit. They tried to convince me this was the deluxe villa I had booked, and my only alternative was to wait until the next day for a transfer to a new villa. After insisting on either a transfer or a full refund, a clean villa miraculously appeared. However, I have yet to receive an apology from management or reception for the delay, or even a follow-up call to check on our satisfaction. I’m deeply disappointed in how the place has deteriorated.
