Family-friendly Hotels in Baishan

A great experience to start with Park Hyatt Changbaishan prior to winter season. The room was delicates and They keep replenishing water and keep you hydrated. Many thanks for Charles who communicated and arrange shuttle, share tips here for us before the journey, due to language barrier, we were really concerned about it, the check in service of Linda was very considered. She provided us the activity package and we have been enjoy it for those day. Winni was kind enough to meet our needs. But the facilities was old so it needs lots of maintenance works on it. This is a fantastic hotel to stay at whilst skiing in Changbaishan. With it’s own ski hire desk and the cost of hire and you ski pass included in the rate (this is not well advertised), all you need to do is grab your gear and take a few steps out to the lifts. The hotel itself is huge and the rooms well presented. There are good food options in the hotel and the small town, just outside the door, has a good few more. The breakfast buffet was really good with a wide choice for everyone. We did not sample the restaurants in the hotel though. Only small let down was the slight end of season feel when we were there. We had club access but there was a reluctance to keep restocking the beer and wine as it was used up. Not the end of the world but it was frustrating when there was a group of us wanting to enjoy a few apres-ski drinks. There is also an outdoor pool which was lacking in heat on a couple of occasions, not sure if this was because they perceived it was quiet and not being regularly used. These were relatively minor grips though. The staff were very friendly and helpful and all in all would be very happy to return.

The bed in the king-size room is very comfortable and big enough to sleep three people. The facilities are a bit old-fashioned, and the room lighting is a bit dim, which is suitable for rest. The hotel service is very good, the breakfast variety is complete, and the taste is also good. There are many special projects. You can enjoy many rights and interests when you stay. You can only enjoy it once during your stay. If you want to play again, you can buy tickets by yourself. It is very suitable for parent-child travel. Because it is the peak season, there are many people and you need to queue up for the project, but the service staff are very good and can answer questions patiently. The hot spring requires each person to pay a 10 yuan package of supplies (bath towels, toiletries, etc.), which does not provide free meals and drinks. You can use hand cards to pay when you go out. There are many kinds of food and beverages in the park, and you can choose according to your preferences. There is a special bus to Tianchi to take you to the Xipo Distribution Center. It is about 7:55 in the morning to Jinhua Resort, and you can wait ten minutes in advance. The hotel front desk can store luggage, and you can also consult about rafting, car rental, etc., but it may be more expensive than finding it yourself. In short, eating, using, playing, and traveling here can be solved well, and I will choose it next time.

So if you are coming here, you are going to Wanda Ski Resort. There are so many many hotels in the area that it really doesn't matter so much which one you pick. Holiday Inn is one of the furthest away from the resort, but the price reflects this. However, it is still only a 10-15min walk (even when it's cold and icy) from the resort. The hotel is busy, there will be wait for the front desk, this is why service got 4/5, but the actual information from staff was okay (no English though so god bless my Chinese partner) The hotel has a mini cinema, a restaurant and access to the ski slopes. You can hire ski's, snowboards along with all the boots and clothing required so you don't need to worry about that. In the hotel is the rental place, you rent your gear and you simply walk out of the hotel and you are at the ski slopes. Please note this is NOT the same 10min walk to Wanda ski resort, the hotel has its own access to the mountain and you use that. The restaurant is fine and breakfast was a buffet with mainly Chinese but some western stuff too. The room, it's not large, but not cramped. Very warm, we even needed the windows open at -40C outside to avoid being too hot. There is a mini supermarket in the hotel, but a better 24 hour store across the road. I think for the money paid compared to other hotels, its very good value. Maybe other hotels have bigger rooms or more restaurants, but as every hotel is next to each other, I wouldn't bother paying more to get one closer to the resort as you can save thousands of RMB for a 1 min walk. And as most of your time will be spent in Wanda ski resort, you won't be in your room much. I doubt I would return to Changbaishan / Wanda Ski resort as an area, but if I did, then as long as the value was still there, Holiday Inn Express is a good enough choice

The hot springs are from 1 pm to 8:30 pm, and the 3rd floor is the net red hot spring and the infinity pool. Very popular. There is no tiring day. Breakfast is a buffet from 7 am to 9:30 am, with a variety of varieties and suitable for all tastes. If you eat at the hotel's Chinese restaurant is also large and expensive, you can give priority to it. If you want to go to other places to eat, go out to the road and pass 10 meters left and turn right. There is a good day restaurant that is also large and expensive, very delicious, you really can not order takeaway. Isn't it beautiful to have a hot spring and have a drink on such a good night?

I took my family to Changbai Mountain for the first time and stayed at the Westin Hotel. The bed was large and comfortable, and the Westin Hotel bedding was of high quality. Every day when I woke up, the grass fragrance and warm air of the green mountains hit me. The hotel housekeeper, Manager Chen, was very enthusiastic. He took the initiative to add us on WeChat and sent us an introduction to the beautiful scenery of Changbai Mountain and the user rights of the resort. He would contact us on WeChat every day to care about our journey and feelings, and provide travel arrangement suggestions in a timely manner. During the stay, the hotel manager Xing helped solve the problem in a timely manner. The experience was particularly good. Looking forward to the next trip^-^

The hotel was a pleasant surprise. We made a temporary reservation. The hotel is surrounded by woods and the snow is very thick. Children love to play. I booked tickets for the western slope of Tianchi through the hotel. The bus went directly from the hotel to the scenic spot. The rafting provided was also very good, so there was no need to queue. , the whole journey takes about 30 minutes, the only drawback is that the buffet dinner is very simple, 68 people, about four or five dishes

The environment is really good, refreshing! After posting the photos, many friends asked me where I was, so I shared the hotel with them. I was a little worried about the service after reading the reviews. But the service is actually OK, which may be related to people's personality, but there is still room for improvement. The 2nd and 3rd floors do block the roof. I booked the 5th floor, which has a good view. I don't know how to book the 1st floor, but now it seems that the 1st floor should not block the view. In terms of hygiene, mainly when eating in the restaurant, I found that some coffee cups had black marks. I told the waiter and he took them to wash immediately. But it was a bit disgusting. I encountered the same problem when eating at the Italian restaurant at the foot of the mountain. There was a circle of black marks inside the coffee cup, which could be removed with my hand. It is estimated that they were brushed together, a problem. The furniture is a little old, which is acceptable, and this cannot be changed all the time. But the sheets and quilt covers look black, which may be used for a long time. It is recommended to strengthen cleaning or replacement. In short, I hope that the overall hygiene can be improved. After all, it is a star hotel. You can't just point to the environment, or it should be better in all aspects. Overall, I am satisfied and have a good experience. I will recommend it to my friends and would like to come again next time. However, I hope the hotel can improve its shortcomings. I hope that the bad parts can be improved next time I go.

We are an early bird and can stay for one night by ordering more than 1,000 yuan. The hot springs are very good and there are many different hot springs. But many people enjoy the outdoor hot springs. The rooms are also very beautiful, but it is a bit hot. The temperature cannot be controlled and can only be heated. The only way to cool down is to open the window. It turns out that you can walk a short distance to the ski resort, so if you need hot springs and skiing, this is the only option. The prices of nearby restaurants are also more reasonable than those at Songhua Lake.
