Brussels Hotels with Balcony

Easy to get to and find. We travelled via Eurostar and then took the Metro to the nearest station to the hotel, Porter de Namur. Check in was swift and we were allocated a room before check in time which we appreciated after a very early start to our journey. We stayed in a standard king room which was suitable for our needs as we were only visiting for 2 nights. The room was spacious and clean. The bathroom was small but was clean, modern and had all the amenities we needed. Breakfast was lovely. Continental selection, cooked items was also available such as sausages, bacon, scrambled eggs, baked beans and hash browns. There was also a waffle machine where we could make our own fresh waffles which was very tasty. We would stay here again if we return to Brussels.

I booked two rooms. The hotel faces a decent-sized plaza, which is full of restaurants. During the World Cup, the restaurants were packed with people dining and watching the matches. The hotel itself is clean and tidy, offering great value for money! It's also not far from the popular attractions. Very satisfied!

Best location you can ask for - quiet street, but right next to all the major landmarks, 2 min walk from Brussels train station, hundreds of restaurants within 5-10 min walking distance, 8-10 min walking distance from both Asian and local supermarkets. The room itself is a classic design, but a bit dated. The best was the 2 closets. there’s one next to the bed and one next to the bathroom. The bathtub shower is a disaster as water splashes out everywhere with the glass pane and the air ventilation is nonexistent. Hot showers mean everything will be fogged up and bathroom smells stay for a longer period of time. The gym is decent with a self-checkout snack bar. Weights are a little wonky. The adjustable dumbbell was half broken, only fixed by a very nice guest. The front desk staff were friendly and tried their best to meet our needs. The housekeeping was not. We called the front desk for a missing floor towel and the housekeeping never delivered it for 4 hours until I went down to complain. We also called for a tissue box since it was finished and It was also never delivered despite calling 4-5 times over the course of 2 days. We called in the morning, afternoon and night. Never delivered. That is the worst housekeeping staff I have ever met in my years of traveling around the world in 4 star hotels. It is either they are lazy as hell or the front desk never followed up on whether the items are delivered or not. That’s the reason why I wrote this detailed review.

The location of the apartment is very good, the block is quiet and safe. Very new, tasteful decoration, practical and elegant room layout, very large bathroom, kitchen, air-conditioning is quiet. There is a common kitchen on the zero floor, exquisite dessert snacks, great. If you have large suitcases, please be careful to book the upstairs housing, there is no elevator. I hope that communication will be quick and solve the doubts, and it may not be as desired. The whole process is online and telephone communication, and the door opening of each space needs to be carried out online. Please improve: the bathroom sink is very slow, the top light flickers, the bedside lamp is broken, and the clean quilt cover has unclean marks.

This room in a European city center was incredibly spacious, comfortable, and spotless. Breakfast, at 17.5 euros per person, offered a fantastic spread including ham, cheese, fruits, vegetables, yogurt, milk, coffee, juice, bread, tea, and scrambled eggs – all very fresh, allowing for a leisurely start to the day. The reception area is small and shares space with the restaurant, but check-in was quick. While official check-in is at 3 PM, they allowed us to check in at 2 PM. Luggage storage is available, and the front desk also provides complimentary tea and candies, plus a self-service vending machine for snacks and drinks. The location is superb, with all the main attractions within easy walking distance, and the area feels very safe. Housekeeping doesn't come daily, so I brought my own trash bags to collect rubbish, which I could then dispose of in the large refuse room on the ground floor. There's also a spacious restroom on the ground floor, which was convenient for changing clothes and sorting out luggage before checking in.

The air conditioning has been generally out of order for a long time, according to the brief explanation given at the front desk. The room was stifling, over 30 degrees Celsius, and there wasn't even a backup fan. No apologies were offered, and they didn't seem too bothered by the situation. We had booked four rooms to be close to RTBF the next morning. Our French guests had a terrible night because it was impossible to open the windows due to the excessive noise from the road. It's a shame because the rooms themselves were very spacious.

Holes in the bath towel. Dirty floor in the shower. Only 3 Flemish channels on TV. No Wi-Fi, they ask for a code we don't have. Breakfast for 19 euros for one coffee, some sort of orange juice, and a plain croissant (the rest was impossible: ham/hard-boiled egg/broccoli/pumpkin/some kind of cabbage... At that price, you'd at least expect fresh bread, butter, and jam... We were told it hadn't been delivered, okay, but 19 euros per person is a rip-off! In short, I won't be returning.

The rooms at this hotel come with a fully equipped kitchen, including an induction hob, microwave, toaster, and dishwasher. They also provide pots, pans, and utensils, so you can easily buy groceries and prepare simple meals. We booked a triple room this time, which was very spacious and had a nice balcony, which was a plus. The hotel's location is quite convenient. It's about a 5-minute walk to Brussels-Luxembourg station and a slightly longer 10-minute walk to Troon metro station. The European Union headquarters are right next to Brussels-Luxembourg station, and there are several embassies nearby. It takes about 20-30 minutes to walk to the Grand Place from the hotel. The walk itself is quite pleasant, with pretty buildings and parks along the way, so a city walk doesn't feel too long. The only minor downside is that, perhaps because it's an apartment-style hotel, there's no mid-stay cleaning service (we stayed for two nights). On our second day, after we ran out of coffee, I called the front desk to ask for more coffee capsules. They said they'd send someone over, but after a long wait, no one showed up. Eventually, I managed to catch a cleaning staff member in the hallway and got the coffee from them. The responsiveness in this area definitely needs improvement.

The location of the hotel is very safe and quiet, and the view outside is beautiful, the facilities are slightly outdated but clean, the air conditioning is not very powerful, a little hot to stay in summer. The amenities provided in the suite were great, the kitchen even had a dishwasher, loved it.

I had ti wait until 2 pm no one minute less to enter the room again. However, the lady let me put my stuff in the room as I arrived early in the morning. The room is comfy but there was no AC and the fan was little, not enough for the summer; it was a hot night. I could not hear any noise so I slept like a baby! The decoration is the best, lovely and lots of art everywhere you look. I would stay again if there is a bigger fan. Location is best, a few steps away from every single attraction.
