Guest UserFrom the first moment, i had such an excellent time at Blue Dove. I chose the place for the incredible design of the place, the location within Kazankh ancient town, and the reference to Doves... I left with so much more! The owner and her husband were so helpful and brought ice coffees for me and my dad when we arrived, which was so welcome. They had local treats and fruit to try and a wonderful sense of community. They helped us arrange a driver to Qionkushtai and packed us a breakfast to go, with coffee :) Every detail has been carefully considered and it was a joy to stay at Blue Dove. I consider owner Wen to be my friend and look forward to visiting again. I highly recommend!

FengshenxiuqiThe indescribable beauty can be said to be the most beautiful yard in Kazan. No matter from the health or the environment, the children are too cute, let alone send the local breakfast, the experience is full, the back is too big, will definitely go again, next time I go to live for a few more days. Hope more people see it, wrap it up!

XiaoyuanyifangThe location is fantastic, right inside Liuxing Street and very close to the entrance accessible by car, so you don't have to worry about dragging your luggage far. The area is lively and vibrant. If you get tired from exploring, you can easily pop back to your room for a rest before heading out again. The service was also exceptional and very welcoming; they even helped with our luggage. My only minor complaint is that the room was a bit small, especially the bathroom.

Guest UserThe environment is excellent, and the room is very spacious with great service. A special shout-out to Cassie at the front desk. I had a fall on the way and scraped my hand, but I didn't have any band-aids with me. Cassie brought over her own, which was incredibly thoughtful. Xinjiang is a beautiful place—stunning scenery, wonderful stories, and even more beautiful people!

A beautiful little courtyard tucked away in the old town, full of local charm and character. The front desk lady was super friendly and gave us a warm introduction. The room was really clean and tidy (oops, forgot to snap some photos!). The owner also has a very lively dog! Since it's an all-female stay, there were no safety concerns at all. We even saw some neighborhood cats wandering into the courtyard occasionally. Overall, a fantastic place to stay, highly recommend!

The room was spacious, the bedding was excellent, and I slept very comfortably. It had a strong ethnic feel. The room was very soundproof and clean; sitting in the courtyard in the evening was very pleasant. The owner was incredibly welcoming, and the breakfast was excellent and plentiful. They even helped cut the watermelon, and the cocktails they made were delicious and beautiful – so talented! It's also very close to Liuxing Street, with many great restaurants nearby; the location is fantastic. When I asked the owner, they recommended well-known local restaurants, not just trendy ones, but very good and tasteful. I'll definitely stay with the owner again next time! Thank you for the hospitality these past two days!

The room decor blends vintage charm with simple elegance. The hotel's restaurant feels like a state guesthouse with its delicious food, and the courtyard is like a small forest. The air is fantastic, it's quiet and secluded, and even the trees are numbered and certified. Most importantly, it's a hotel with history and stories. We canceled other guesthouses and extended our stay here precisely because it's irreplaceable and one-of-a-kind. Breakfast is superb, with a wide variety of options for all tastes, at 58 per person. The ice cream shop in the courtyard is also in an old building, with many flavors and a great vibe! 👍

The hygiene is excellent, and the owner is very warm and friendly. This is my second time visiting Yining, and the people here are genuinely wonderful. The hotel has a washing machine for laundry, and the staff even provided laundry detergent and hangers. The location is easy to find, right at the intersection of the main road in Liuxing Street.

Guest UserIt's 2 AM, and I can't sleep after writing this review in the courtyard, so I just got up and sat here. The night in Liuxing Street is so quiet, with only occasional dog barks and distant lights. The moon hangs above the apple tree.
I've stayed at this hostel for three days and will be leaving tomorrow. There are some things I want to write down before I forget.
First, let's talk about hygiene. I have a peculiar habit: the first thing I do when entering a room is to feel the tabletop and windowsill. And truly, it was spotless. The floor is wood-grain tile, and walking barefoot on it felt perfectly clean. The bedding was freshly changed and smelled warm, like it had been sun-dried. There wasn't a single hair on the public restroom floor, and the trash cans weren't emptied only when overflowing. What touched me most was that the cups in the wash area were placed upside down in a sterilizer cabinet, for guests to use. Yes, a sterilizer cabinet.
Location: It's in an alley in Liuxing Street, but very easy to find. Turn right out of the door, and a small alley leads directly to the main street. To the left is an old residential area, perfect for aimless wandering. It's about seven or eight minutes' walk to the Alexander Accordion Museum and also to the famous ice cream shop. If you, like me, enjoy walking and exploring small alleys, this place is a paradise. There are three bus stops nearby, making it convenient to go to Kaxgar and Hanren Street.
Service: The front desk staff was a girl with a ponytail, and her voice was soft. It was drizzling when I arrived on the first day, and she handed me a dry towel to wipe my hair. When I came back late at night, I found a message on the small blackboard at the entrance: 'There's yogurt in the fridge, help yourself.' I thought it was for a fee, but when I asked the next day, she smiled and said, 'It's free, we worry you might get overheated in this weather.' When I left, I forgot my power bank, and she chased me down two alleys.
Facilities: The beds are incredibly stable; the bunk beds don't wobble. Each bunk has a curtain, a light, two power outlets, and a small shelf, perfect for a phone and glasses. The common area has a water dispenser (with both hot and cold water), a microwave, a refrigerator, and a toaster. There's also a washing machine that can be used by scanning a QR code. The most pleasant surprise was a small bookshelf with not many books, but a few picture books about Ali, which made me want to visit Mount Kailash as I flipped through them.
Atmosphere: Unlike some hostels that deliberately force social interaction, the atmosphere here is very natural. In the evening, someone played the Dombra in the courtyard, while others just listened quietly. There was an older gentleman who had just returned from a pilgrimage, his feet still swollen, sitting on the steps drinking sweet tea, and no one disturbed him. Occasionally, people would strike up a conversation, also in soft voices.
I'm sitting in the courtyard now, and the evening breeze is a little cool. The moon is bright, and I can see the shadows of the clouds.
I'll probably feel a bit reluctant to leave tomorrow.
But it's okay; I know I'll be back.
The night of Liuxing Street, the dream of Mount Kailash, and the gentleness of this little courtyard all remind me why I'm always on the road.
