Athens Hotels with Balcony

I stayed here as part of a business trip in Dec 2023. The hotel was relatively empty given the season but that was part of the reason I loved it. Everything from the check-in process to room service and dining options are amazing here. Location: Its located about 40 mins away from Athens city center. Right on the water the views are to die for! You can just sit on the balcony all day and take in the breeze, the views of the mountains and the water. Its so peaceful that for two days I forgot everything about my real life back home. Staff: Amazing staff, always willing to go above and beyond for client needs Dining: We had catered food for two days. Delicious food throughout and the desserts were something else. We ate at Beef bar one night. From the atmosphere to the food, everything was outstanding. I ordered in-room dining one day. Highly recommend trying the Greek mezze! Rooms: the rooms have been tastefully decorated and give you the feeling of absolute luxury. I can't wait to be back at this hotel.

The accommodation is really good value for money. It's like a perfect officetel, but I had a hard time finding it because the apar**ent facilities and map were provided. The local network didn't work, so I got data tethering. It's really great if there's good location information. Usually, these facilities don't store bags well, but there was a separate room, so I used it well. There are other accommodations in Athens now, and the prices are similar, but there is a big difference. I think I will definitely come here next time I come to Athens again.

This is an exceptionally lovely place to stay in the centre of Athens. Walking distance to the Acropolis, Plaka District and all the fabulous restaurants. Very nice rooms and amenities with very friendly staff. Excellent service. Make sure you go up to the roof top bar for food and drinks with a fabulous night time view of the Acropolis and make sure you say hi to Marios… the best and friendliest of bar hosts!

Overall Service was amazing. Everyone from the front desk to dining and maintenance were great. Front desk team helped me organize anything from transportation, tours and local places to eat that weren’t on the travel blogs. Rooms were great, maintenance helpful when needed. If you’re going to work and holiday at same time… definitely worth the extra dollars for a small suite. The private balcony was a nice relief and a great spot for room service one night with a cocktail. Oh… and while the dining area is not ‘alluring’ as outside seating locales… the spiced meat puff pastries (omg), cauliflower steak, and Sea Bass for dinner were outstanding! Enjoy!

The room is large, about 100 square meters, and you can cook and eat. Because I was not familiar with it at first, I took a lot of unnecessary steps before I found the supermarket. After getting familiar with it, I discovered that there are several supermarkets within 5 minutes, some big and some small. Just not open on Sundays. It is very convenient to take a taxi to the city center, the beach or Piraeus Port, and the most expensive taxi fare is only 10 euros. The boss was super nice and gave us baskets of fresh oranges for juice. Highly recommended.

Stayed five days with friends. Booked four rooms. Staff were very friendly, as for me is a Greeks, some of the most hospitable people in the world. The breakfast was plentiful, staff again done a great job. It was a very busy As it’s a conference Hotel really. However that didn’t mean that it was bad. The pool was mostly quiet. And spotless clean as was the whole hotel. Heard some say it was far away from city. For us we didn’t think so, it was literally a 15 minute walk right to the centre, however if you cross the very busy road, your literally among some great non touristy restaurants and cafes. I never felt the staff or the policy of the hotel was to attempt to get money from you for extras, everyone was very integrity minded. My only slight gripe was that the maid service was a bit inconsistent, so the room wasn’t made up to the same standard each day. However I mentioned it to the reception and received a letter and bottle of wine, which wasn’t expected but appreciated. On a plus the rooms are huge, with a nice sitting area and large bathroom. Only other thing. As we book four rooms for 5 nights , and our flight was leaving late and we needed a room to stay later, I felt the 117 euros for late checkout was a bit steep and as we had booked the four rooms I think they could have gave us a bigger discount than have the room rate , as is their policy obviously. Other than that. It was a great hotel considering its massive size. Would definitely recommend. It’s not Dubai 5 star so if that’s what you expect you will be discounted. However it’s very good and very genuine, spotless clean and great staff.

We start with the positive aspects: very appreciable breakfast in quality, quantity and variety, available from 7 to 11 which is not all of us. Receptionists gentle. Now we go to the rest. At the arrival, despite the reservation provided double rooms (we are all colleagues because it is a work trip) they tried to replace us three marriage, replaced after our protests. The rooms had a small bathroom, with a window that looks at the axis room, a few centimetres; the shower will be 60 x 60, wash with the tent applied on it because there is no box; The washing machine looks like a small waterway, size camper. Women in the cleaning room are very urged to change sapony, towels and baths every day, to barbe at all ecological sensitivity (I tried to present it at the reception but I was not absolutely understood, and I don't speak the language) but if it is to swallow a floor, empty a powder, or throw a bag with inside the pizza cartridges their scourge disappears, to re-emerging if they have to remove the device left below from the spine Then the phone at the wall is true, but it is very basic. This hotel still uses the keys instead of the magnetic cards: and of them it is very jealous, at the point that people in the room were two, but the key to which they were entitled was one! The differential is not there, the ecological transaction must still begin here. See you a little, I won't go back to this hotel, but I hope it is in Athens, it is a wonderful city!

It’s very difficult to articulate the O&O experience, the expression “you need to be there to fully appreciate” definitely applies here, but I’ll give it a go! From initially stepping foot through yes, the gated community to navigating the curated grounds, interactions with all staff members as you call a ‘kalimera’ to each one to when you leave, the ‘One&Only Experience’, as I’ve dubbed it, is truly unique. Some reviews here complain about the exclusivity but one knows this is what the brand manifests in advance. And it’s actually not so inclusive as to be snobby. From the private bungalows with their own gardens and plunge pools to walking the coastline and taking a cool glass of wine on the terrace with the Saronic islands and Peloponnese as your backdrop, the ambiance oozes relaxation and discretion. Greece is famous for its filoxenia and whilst O&O isn’t a Greek brand, it’s certainly adopted the natural friendliness this country is famed for; nothing feels forced or fake with the staff interactions. And as a solo female traveler in a large setting, I didn’t feel unsafe at all. Professionalism reigned ie: Reception did not hand over my bungalow key and state its number out loud, no wait staff asked for my room number out loud and no annoying comments such as ‘Only one?’ when being shown to a table for dining (this a particular sticking point of mine in general and in other establishments when it’s prefaced with ‘only’, as if this is something to be ashamed of!) Now for the basics: - Queen or King sized bed with mattress toppers that provide the best quality sleep - Pillows to sink into - Romantic setting in bungalow with outdoor fireplace - Separate shower and roll top bath and secluded enough to ensure you can soak with magnificent views from the floor to ceiling windows - Walk in closet And of course, their Guerlain spa.

I recently stayed at this hotel for an extended period of time (16 days) for work. Overall, I'd stay at this hotel again if I wanted a secluded vacation where I just chill on the premises. I'll start with Pros: 1) The view - absolutely amazing!!!! Book a room with a sea view. 2) The workers were so nice! Themos, Alexandra, Sara, Vaggelis, Chistophos, and others whose name I can't remember (just the entire staff that worked September 10th - 26th) made me feel so at home! 3) Impressive Aegeo Spa at the Dolce Athens Attica Riviera. Yiannis and Frosina - the managers of the front desk - were very courteous, professional, and informative. They kindly explained every question I had about the different types of spa offerings. I received two amazing massages from Sofia (deep tissue) and Lena (eye massage). The prices are very reasonable for such an upscale venue. Be sure to schedule time to hang out in the heated saltwater pool afterwards; it's absolutely amazing! 4) The food - plenty of delicious choices. My favorite place was The Secret Restaurant by the pool. Great prices for a hearty food portion. 5) Direct access to the Aegean Sea - can't beat that. 6) Outdoor pool is beautiful. 7) There are chill areas in the main area of the hotel where you can read, play pool or other games, and eat free fruit. 8) They have free phone charging station behind the front desk (thank goodness because I left my charger on the plane)! 9) Outdoors you have the option of water sports. The cons: 1) The hotel and its decor are dated. Could use some renovation. 2) Can't reach the hotel without a car or taxi. And you need a car just to visit nearby tourist areas. It would be nice if the hotel had some type of shuttle arrangement for nearby tourist areas. 3) The gift shop is sp**** (but the worker was very nice!) 4) The music was very Westernized. I would have preferred to hear samplings of Greek music (afterall, I'm in Greece!)

Our family greatly enjoyed our stay here. The room was spacious and the bed was quite comfortable. The WiFi is very fast, the air conditioning was cold, the water pressure was great. Our room had a little balcony. Highest complements to housekeeping. My husband said this may be the cleanest bedroom in his life. Breakfast included fresh options, pastries, and hot food choices. It was a short walk to the acropolis also. Staff was friendly and helpful. Thanks for a great stay!
