This hotel is absolutely fantastic! The cleanliness, facilities, and service are all top-notch. The location is super convenient too, Nagoya has so many great shopping spots! There was a slight misunderstanding at first, but the Chinese-speaking staff at the front desk were incredibly patient and reassuring. A big thank you to them, they were so professional! Overall, a 100% perfect hotel!!

Guest UserThe hotel check-in is on the sixth floor. There was a bit of a mix-up with my reservation at first, which caused some delays, but once it was sorted out, everything else was very satisfactory. The Nagoya Kanko Hotel is an older 5-star hotel with large and spacious public areas. As is common with most Japanese hotels, Saturday rates are significantly higher than weekdays. They offer smoking rooms (many Japanese hotels are now completely smoke-free). The bathroom was still very well-maintained, and the toiletries were BVLGARI. The breakfast quality was also excellent. The hotel is conveniently located directly across from the airport shuttle bus stop, making travel to Chubu Airport very easy. I would definitely consider staying here again on my next visit to Nagoya.

lai gorzMy stay at ESPACIO Nagoya Castle left a lasting impression, primarily due to the incredibly attentive and professional staff! From the moment we checked in, the service was exceptionally warm and welcoming. As foreign guests, we truly felt at home, thanks to their fluent English and Chinese, along with their thoughtful guidance. The hotel's interior is elegantly decorated, exuding an artistic ambiance. Whether in the lobby, restaurant, hot spring, or when staff were explaining room facilities, everyone always had a smile and readily attended to guests' needs. The hotel is conveniently located right next to Nagoya Castle, offering a peaceful environment, though finding dining options on the street at night can be a bit challenging.
The breakfast selection wasn't extensive, but the food quality was remarkably high! I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel for its 100% service and museum-like artistic atmosphere. While it's on the pricier side, it absolutely delivers an unforgettable experience! A huge thank you to all the staff for making our stay so wonderful. We'll definitely be back on our next visit to Nagoya!

pinoy solo travelerThe best choice for a budget solo traveler. It offers free unlimited drinks all day, unlimited curry with rice for breakfast, unlimited fresh ramen noodles at night, and free alcoholic drinks in the evening.
There is a lounge on the 11th floor, a public bath with a hot pool and sauna, and free shampoo, body soap, conditioner, hair gel, hair spray, and face and body lotion. It also provides free toothbrushes and razors. The locker fits a 20kg size luggage if not, you can put it at the large luggage compartment and ask for chain with lock at the lobby. There are coin washing machines and dryers available as well.
Heads up to those with tattoos: this hotel only has a public bath, and tattoos are not allowed.

DaochuluanbendemiaoThe location right next to Kanayama Station is super convenient for getting around (I prefer it over Nagoya Station and Sakae). However, because of the single-pane windows, even on the 18th floor, you can still hear the train. Luckily, the noise level stays under 40 decibels, so it won't wake you up. There's also a shuttle bus nearby that goes to the Aeon Atsuta store. From the window, you can see an Aeon store, distant snow-capped mountains, and a little figure holding an umbrella on the roof of the building opposite. The twin beds can be pushed together, but there's a bunch of wires and equipment under the nightstand that prevents it from moving completely. This leaves a gap of about 20cm between the bed and the wall at the head, which is fine for a family of three to sleep comfortably. The mattress is a Simmons, and it's quite comfortable to sleep on, though the pillows are a bit too narrow. The bathroom looks a little older than it actually is, but it's perfectly functional.

Guest UserA very satisfying stay.
1. The front desk staff were excellent, very quick and professional with the check-in process.
2. The breakfast selection was rich, though at certain times it could get a bit crowded and require a short wait, but this was a minor issue.
3. The room was spacious, clean, and offered great views of Nagoya city. This definitely deserves a big thumbs up.
4. There's a convenience store just a 2-minute walk away, and Don Quijote is only 5 minutes away, which is incredibly convenient.
Every aspect of my stay was great, so of course, I signed up for a membership.

Anonymous UserHeads up! The Nagoya Prince Hotel discriminates heavily against Chinese tourists, terrible experience.
I was really looking forward to staying at this supposedly high-end hotel, but from start to finish, the front desk staff clearly treated Chinese guests differently. Their attitude towards us was cold and perfunctory, completely lacking in service professionalism. I absolutely do not recommend this hotel for domestic travelers.
When checking in, European and American guests in my group asked questions, and the staff were patient, thorough, and smiled throughout their interactions. But when it was our turn to ask about room types using simple Chinese and basic English, the staff remained expressionless, frequently interrupted our questions, and even refused to use a translation app I was using to communicate. Their answers were perfunctory and sloppy. They even claimed there were no Chinese-speaking staff, despite the hotel clearly offering Chinese service. The contrast was stark and made us feel very uncomfortable.
When we tried to give feedback about the difference in service, the front desk showed no apology whatsoever. Instead, they prevaricated and shirked responsibility, completely disregarding our reasonable concerns. As a star-rated hotel with high prices, they should treat guests from all countries equally, but instead, they showed prejudice and discriminated against Chinese guests. The service and hospitality were subpar in every aspect. Paying a high price only to receive a frustrating and upsetting accommodation experience, I strongly advise Chinese tourists planning to visit Nagoya to avoid this hotel. For the same price, there are many other options that respect Chinese guests and offer thoughtful service. Don't fall into this trap.

This was my first stay at the Hilton Nagoya. It's about a 1000 yen taxi ride from Nagoya Station, so the location is pretty good. If you're using public transport, there are bus options, but the subway station is a bit of a walk. The room was spacious and well-maintained. I accidentally left something behind, and after emailing them, the hotel successfully sent it to my next hotel, which I really appreciate. A big thank you to Imai from housekeeping! The 'magic hotline' answered immediately, and the overall service was great – definitely good value for money. The only downside is that the soundproofing isn't very good, so if the neighbors are noisy, it can be hard to sleep.

The room is spacious and well equipped. It's a bit far from Nagoya station and not many buses around the hotel. It's a bit inconvenient. There's shuttle bus available in the morning on weekdays. Longer service time on weekends. Maybe the hotel is busy, the lounge staff wasn't too friendly. I have short hair but I found a long hair on my bed under the blanket. The bedsheet has some black colour fabric fibers but I wore light colour pajamas.

Guest UserThis was my first time staying here. The room was larger than your average business hotel, perhaps due to its age. There's a bus stop right outside, so there should be a direct bus from the airport. It's also close to the station, and the location is fantastic. 👍 As soon as you step out of the hotel, you can find a variety of restaurants nearby or just a short walk to the underground shopping mall. I'll definitely stay here again next time if I can find a good deal. The only problem was that the room was a bit dark. 😅
