An Unforgettable Stay at The Sanchaya Bintan – A True Paradise! Our recent vacation at The Sanchaya, Bintan was nothing short of fantastic and excellent. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed and immediately felt the touch of luxury and care that defines this exquisite resort. A special mention must go to the superb team led by Greg Williams, whose attention to detail and commitment to excellence were evident throughout our stay. Under his leadership, everything ran seamlessly, and every guest was treated with exceptional hospitality. We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to Yani from Guest Relations, who ensured our every need was anticipated and met with grace and professionalism. Her warm demeanor and thoughtful gestures truly made us feel at home. A huge appreciation as well to Joanne from the F&B team, whose impeccable service and cheerful personality enhanced every dining experience. She made each meal a pleasure, going above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect. And of course, our sincere thanks to Chef Budi, whose culinary creations were absolutely divine. Each dish was a masterpiece – a perfect blend of flavors, presentation, and freshness. He made dining at The Sanchaya not just a meal, but a memorable experience. As a new mum that craved for a beach getaway since 2024, Bintan felt like the perfect idea for our little family to kick Start our travels with a ferry ride to Bintan. Sadi beach is a little bit further from the ferry terminal and main attractions (e.g. lagoi bay) but Sadi beach makes up for it with the comfortable and cosy rooms as well as the excellent service the team provides. The food is excellent, anything on the menu is a hit. We loved the fritters, nasi goreng cabe ijo and the mocktails were especially exquisite with zero alcohol!! The staff makes you feel like you're right at home and it's so convenient to converse with them via whatsapp for any queries, concerns or needs. It was an excellent stay because i felt so sad having to leave! Definitely worth a visit if you need to unwind and just relax, we chose the garden villa. There's spa/massage, a playroom for children, a pool and complimentary canoeing/bicycle rides. You can even opt for snorkeling at the nearby islands. Absolutely wonderful stay as there's something for everyone, whatever your age! Absolutely enjoyed our stay at Cassia. The single beds were super single, comfy and spacious. I loved the private beach shared with Homm and Banyan Tree. We went before the long weekend started. So there was no crowd and we got to enjoy the beach mostly to ourselves and with other family guests. The tide was mostly calm and sea shallow. It was therapeutic for my 5 year old just to be in the sea water bobbling with the calm waves. Breakfast was tasty especially the local dishes. Staff was always friendly and smiling. It is a 5 star stay with a superbly reasonable price. I’m so glad I chose Cassia. Thumbs up to the staff during our stay and the reception lady for remembering my daughter’s name. For those who are fearful of the island heat, take note that breakfast is served in a non-aircon restaurant. But that’s the whole idea of a beach holiday!

The free shuttle from the ferry to the resort was super smooth. We got a great fruit juice and a warm welcome from the front desk. Lots of free activities there too. I was really looking forward to the dance and aqua dance, but after waiting in the lobby, we found out there wouldn't be a class that day. It would've been nice if they'd put up a notice so we didn't wait for nothing. Then we did other stuff like rock painting, animal education, and tie-dye tote bags, which was awesome. I even chatted with Mizhelle as she passed our dried tie dye the next morning while she did my henna – such a happy person! The room was pretty clean and roomy. The AC worked great, and they even gave us a cute, big woven bag to use. I brought earplugs because reviews said you could hear people outside. But all we heard were buggies, crickets, and frogs, so it was all good. Our stay included daily breakfast, and the hospitality was amazing. They greeted us by name, which made us feel special. The staff even remembered our names when we just walked by them – effort 10/10! We did the BBQ, which was an 8/10. It was a cozy dinner setup. Unfortunately, there were tons of mosquitoes feasting on us while we BBQ'd and ate, even with repellent on. The staff forgot the oil spreader, so we couldn't cook for a bit. But the night was still a great experience for us both. Definitely a memorable vacation. I just wish the lagoon stayed open longer than 6 pm.

We have found this beautiful place on our 2 days dad/son bicycle tour through Western Bintan. We loved the ample, farm type camp that is in between the hills and savannahs with the reddish coloured earth and evergreen palm trees of Bintan. The reception area is already oozing openness and friendliness, and you check in a very pleasant and welcoming world. The owner has established this is as a sustainable youth training and learning center, at the same time offering splendid and well-integrated guest activities for families, kids, and groups. We stayed in one of the clamping houses adjacent to one of the small and relaxing lakes, and my 5y son loved every inch of it. The A/C motor works in the background, the bathroom is bigger than in any of the Lagoi resorts we have been so far. The food is very deliciously mildly spicy, the coffee machine is Italian, the breakfast offers a choice of two menues which makes it easy not to choose wrong. The best part is the always friendly and supporting staff. Yanu was very supportive when engineering a kite and helped us making it fly (even outside his shift). The creative center is definitely worth a visit. As natural bicyclists, we loved the empty and small paved roads around the Camp, so we even had a wonderful time biking down to the Blue Lagoon (1hour). From the Ferry Station TM it is a 2h bicycle trip with a few stops in the road (try to avoid the heat). The Bintan Ferry takes bikes for transport, so do 6-seater cabbies in Singapore. I can strongly recommend this place for any escape plans from the big city and for all nature fans.

Cleanliness of the rooms was okay. They had a bathtub but the water was either brown or green and it seems that the hot water supply is limited as it’s hard to fill a tub of hot water again once you’ve done it once. Also, you can only turn on the hot water from one source, then other water sources will be cold, which was quite inconvenient. There’s only one restaurant there so food options are limited. The nearest food area is a plaza that’s a 5-min Grab ride for about $5 or a 30-min walk that is bug infested. Plaza had many food options so that was good. The free breakfast was not very good. Bread and cakes are stale, and the food options are repeated and limited as well. We did try the private BBQ which seems to be pretty new for them, it was slightly expensive ($40) for the amount of food and variety provided but we tried it for the vibes. Staff there were very friendly and on task, and responded very quickly to requests which was good. Overall the room was big and spacious, while being quiet so we quite enjoyed that aspect. The stay was pleasant overall but there’s some room for improvement in terms of water source and food option.

Amazing place to stay if you need to just relax and recharge in the calm. Just idle time sitting in the patio of your sea view villa and enjoy looking at the sea or walking by the beach collecting sea shells and finding baby mud crabs inside of the sea shells. It was not our first time staying at Mayang Sari or one of the other Nirwana properties. Hence, the smiling staff with their impeccable service levels is never a surprise but always a pleasure. Mayang Sari has its own restaurant, the Deli Cafe, where you can get local and western delicacies and drinks. The property has an Indian restaurant, Spice, which is a 5 minute walk from Mayang Sari, and Nirwana also has its own restaurant. They have a pick and drop shuttle from the ferry terminal, which makes it very convenient. Just a call put that this is Lagoi, so please don't expect to have malls around, and the city centre falls in the Tanjung Pinang area.

Suitable for honeymooners here.quiet and nice scenery if we booked a room which is on top of the hill.there's buggy services to and fro from lobby to room and room to restaurant.all staffs there are friendly and polite. M.Arvin the receptionist is very helpful and can rely on whatever guests needed.he recommended us to a nice seafood restaurant which is not really far and he even drive us to the restaurant after his duty.price also reasonable as we could get fresh live seafood.really a nice person M.Arvin. De Bintan Villa located quite far from shops.so my advice is do shop whatever you think you need before arrive to de bintan villa.

Enjoyed my 3 day stay at this resort. Nice room with a balcony and sea view. Daily breakfast included , and has plenty of options, buffet style , from local food to eggs your way , fruit , bread and the best of all - prata. Restaurant on site offers delicious food. Vegetarian options available. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Beautiful sunrise you can watch from the beach. Hotel allows to rent a kayak. Overall , very calm place to relax for a quick holiday. Good value for money , recommend, and will be back again.

The main attraction is beach combing during low tide everyday, the water is shallow and very clear, full of seashells, crabs and little fishes. Really fun. There is also a jetty u can see many fishes in the sea, it's a short walk from the resort ( bet can see different species if u go at night with a powerful torch). There is also a local mini mart to buy things on the other side. Kampongs with 🐔 chicken farms around and many local fisherman fishing. A lot of stars at night if there is no moon or clouds. Overall a wonderful experience for nature lovers and kids to explore. However the tv resolution is bad, the food serving is little and the transport and other activities are quite expensive, no hair conditioner and have to ask for insect repellent. The staff are all very nice. Hopefully they address these and provide more activities, it's such a wonderful beach, more people should come.
