"Really enjoyed my stay at Kameya Rakan! From the beginning, staff at check-in were very pleasant. The staff that attended to us also spoke really good English! There was also a microwave, some brochures/maps with discount codes for attractions (e.g. Mt Omuro chairlift).
Parking was plenty and free, located behind the accommodation. There is a sign that says Kameya Rakan Parking.
Room was tatami style, and we chose the seaview room which was really nice. They were also very kind to prepare iced water for us in the room which I have never encountered before.
Would definitely come back to stay again!"

"The living environment is good, clean and spacious, the child also took the starry sky at night 🌃 It happened that a Chinese boss was warm and thoughtful. He took the time to help send our family to the attractions and stations, which saved us a lot of time. The recommended Atami to see the early cherry blossoms 🌸 is beautiful! Dashishan, the zoo, the Chenghuang Coast, and the Cat Museum around the homestay have all gone. I will come back to Izu in the future and I will go back to the flower margin. ~"
Hello This facility has hot spring facilities because it is by appointment only. Therefore, you need to apply in advance when you use it (refer to the front desk when you check in) . The usage time for each room is 1 hour exclusively for each room. At the same time, please note that the hotel rooms with room numbers (107) (106) (105)(103) need to use the public bathing area because they do not have a separate shower room. In principle, only showers are provided. If you need to use the hot spring, please Confirm with the staff according to the instructions above.
"The hotel is located in a picturesque place. The staff is helpful and pleasant. There are no shops nearby, but we were warned about this. They met us at the station and took us to the station!
We recommend it to everyone who also cares about aesthetic pleasure!"

Amazing
GGuest UserA wonderful ryokan with its own private onsen, offering two types: open-air and indoor. Dinner and breakfast are included, and everything is incredibly delicious, featuring many new and unusual dishes. They use only high-quality ingredients for preparation. All dishes are served sequentially, with detailed explanations of what each dish is and the best order to eat them. There's a huge variety of dishes – you'll be full for a week! The presentation is like something out of a Michelin-starred restaurant.
The room comes with both a kimono and pajamas, along with men's and women's amenity sets.
The room itself is spacious. They prepare the tatami for you to sleep on and then put it away. The tatami was comfortable, though I found the pillows a bit hard. They were special therapeutic pillows filled with grains (perhaps buckwheat, I'm not sure what they use in Japan).
GGuest UserIt was love from the first sight. Lovely and silent place that what you need after all the hustle and bustle of big cities. Hot springs are relaxing and food is delicious. Wish had more days there.
Big thanks to all the staff who created such atmosphere
VVegan 美味しいI had a fantastic experience at Forest Glaming! The staff, including Mr. Terada & the cool dude with long hair, were not only incredibly friendly but also made an effort to communicate with me in English and encouraged my attempts at speaking Japanese. Despite missing the shuttle bus, Mr. Terada kindly came to pick me up. The resort is a serene haven, offering tranquility and the cleanest toilets I've ever encountered. ✨Being tented near the shower and toilet facilities was an added bonus. 😮💨The food was outstanding, especially the aged domestic beef 🍖 BBQ. The only disappointment was not having the chance to share the wonderful dinner with the staff. I totally recommend Forest Glaming to anyone seeking a rejuvenating escape with exceptional service and facilities. The staff's warmth and willingness to engage in different languages truly enhanced my stay. Fantabulous!!! 😍🥰
GGuest UserThere was a mistake when I made the reservation, but the front desk kindly handled it. Thanks to them, I was able to have a wonderful stay! I think both the staff and the environment are wonderful. The amenities and facilities are very clean and simple, so you can enjoy it even if you come empty-handed. I would like to use it again if I have the opportunity!
GGuest UserThis hotel is located by the sea in Ito, and every room offers a fantastic ocean view. It's incredibly clean, and the service is excellent. They even provide a shuttle service to and from Izu-Kogen Station, which is very convenient.
The hotel features a large public bath, and private onsen are available for an extra fee. They also offer ramen in the evenings, and there are complimentary drinks and popsicles at the front desk.
We stayed in a Japanese-style room, which, as a heads-up, doesn't have an en-suite bathroom. We booked the breakfast and dinner plan. Dinner was an exquisite Kaiseki meal, primarily featuring seasonal seafood. Breakfast was a buffet, and it was quite good, with the added bonus of being able to enjoy the sea view while eating.
There aren't many restaurants or supermarkets around the hotel; the nearest Lawson convenience store is about a 20-minute walk away. Getting to Mount Omuro by taxi costs around 1700 yen (about a 10-minute ride), and to Jogasaki Coast about 1500 yen, both very accessible. The hotel is quiet and has a limited number of rooms, making it feel very private. It's an excellent choice for a relaxing getaway, highly recommended!
SShadingyudemengxiangThe room was spacious, and opening the window every day made me feel refreshed. The host spoke fluent English and a little Chinese.
One thing to note is that the host doesn't like guests using disposable hotel amenities, so please avoid using them during your stay.
Having stayed in hotels several times before in Japan, I assumed the first time I stayed at a B&B that there wouldn't be housekeeping service. This time, I brought disposable items, but I didn't expect to be offended.
The hotel also provides morning and evening pick-up and drop-off services, which is not very convenient for traveling on your own.
XXiaomuMUSI”This trip to Izu Kogen was made particularly memorable because of this B&B. As soon as I arrived at the B&B, the owner's warm welcome made me feel like spring breeze. The owner was very considerate. Not only did he introduce us to the surrounding attractions in detail, but he also gave us a lot of practical travel suggestions.
The environment of the B&B is even better. The room is clean and tidy, and the layout is very warm and Japanese, making people feel as comfortable as at home. The public area is also very comfortable, and the hot spring ♨️ is also very suitable for families.
It must be mentioned that this B&B is very close to the Jogasaki Coast, and it is very convenient to travel. You can just walk there, and the scenery along the way is also very beautiful.
When we went back, it rained heavily and the tram stopped running. The owner took the initiative to contact us to help us find a way, and finally sent us to our destination. Thank you very much🥹
In short, this stay experience was great. I will definitely recommend this B&B to my friends around me, and next time I come to Izu Kogen, it will still be my first choice.”👍
SSarah GraceWe had a lovely stay at Himalaya Sea. We only stayed one night but wished we could have stayed longer. Incredibly clean, spacious and comfortable rooms, amazing sea views, a nice little pool for cooling off in, as well as private and shared Onsen. They were able to accommodate us and provided a vegetarian breakfast. The free drinks (sodas, juice, wine, whiskey, etc) were appreciated. Thank you Himalaya Sea, we hope we can come back again some day!
JJasssssIn fact, the hotel is very good, the environment is very good, the room is very beautiful, the toilet is super big, and it is very comfortable to live. But the disadvantage is that the traffic is too inconvenient, unless you drive by yourself... and dinner needs to be booked one day in advance, otherwise there is nothing to eat nearby.
