The owners of the hotel are very friendly, although sometimes they cannot communicate in English. Fortunately, there is a translation app to help. The meals they provided were also very rich and delicious, and they gave us the chopsticks we picked when we checked in as a gift before we left. The only disadvantage is that the location is relatively remote. If you travel by car, it will be no problem. Otherwise, you have to take a taxi to get in and out, but good things are always difficult to find, so it is still highly recommended.

The hotel includes breakfast and dinner. The service and ceremony are the best in the hotel I have stayed in for so many years. I have prepared a lot of activities, including the meal link. The ceremony is also full. The only pity is that there is no shuttle bus between multiple venues.

This was the best, albeit the most expensive, hotel we stayed at during this trip. The front desk had Chinese maps and instructions, which were very helpful and easy to understand. It's a perfect hotel for a relaxing vacation. **Location:** I'd say it's in rural Japan. There's a shuttle bus to Izu-Kogen Station, no reservations needed. However, the last shuttle from the bullet train station is at 5 PM, and the last one from the hotel is at 12 PM. **Dining:** We booked a package with breakfast and dinner. There's a lovely lady in the restaurant who speaks Chinese and explains how to enjoy Japanese cuisine. The hotel also offers complimentary snacks from 5 PM to 10 PM. If you don't book meals, you could bring some convenience store food and enjoy the free ramen – dining options around aren't very convenient. **Hot Springs:** They have both a public bath and private onsen, both free of charge. You don't need to reserve the private onsen; just grab the sign at the entrance to indicate it's occupied, and return it when you're done soaking. **Environment:** It's a serene and peaceful Japanese-style building nestled in the mountains.

The hotel is not located near any public transportation. It is less than 10 minutes by taxi from Izu Kogen Station. We arrived at Izu Kogen Station around 11 am and called the hotel. The hotel replied that they could not pick us up and would send a car after 3 pm. We could only take a taxi to the hotel and then store our luggage. We would check in after 3 pm. We planned to go to Omuro Mountain first. The hotel staff said that they could not send a car to Omuro Mountain and asked us to walk to the nearest bus stop, which was said to be about 800 meters and about 10 minutes. However, we walked all the way uphill and it took us almost half an hour. We almost got heatstroke. Then we took the bus and arrived at Omuro Mountain in one stop. We returned to the hotel and took a taxi. We went back to the hotel to discuss check-out the next day because we had to catch a train at around 7 o'clock the next day. We asked if the hotel could send a car to take us at 6:30, but the answer was no. We asked the hotel to help book a taxi. At first, they said that they might not have one because it was too early and that they couldn't contact us... Later, the taxi company replied that they could have a car, which made us feel relieved. In summary, the hotel's shuttle bus only operates around 3 p.m., so if you need to catch an early or late bus, it's best to book a bus in advance. Also, the hotel staff's English proficiency is relatively low.

Before we booked here I read some review from locals (Japanese) said that better to book somewhere else as this hotel is very pricey and offers low value. For example the dinner and breakfast are not impressive and not enough. Feels to me they use mostly cheaper ingredients for good presentation only. Worst point is they do not serve coffee/tea during breakfast and ask you to make yourself at the lobby with those premix which is a turn off. Especially after the high room price we paid. Like the other locals said : better to spend the money elsewhere

A good, but not new, hotel. It boasts a huge golf course, and indeed, the vast majority of guests are golfers who come for a weekend getaway to play without venturing down the mountain. If you have your own car, getting there is convenient. However, for exploring the region, the location isn't ideal; this hotel isn't really set up for that. You can, however, reach Ippeki Lake. I actually walked to the Komuroyama lift in 35 minutes through the camellia garden. From there, you can descend to Kawana Dolphin Beach, but the path isn't particularly convenient, and there are no direct buses. The closest bus stops to the hotel are in Yoshida, and from there, it's a 15-20 minute uphill walk along the road. You won't get lost, as there are plenty of signs. But it's not a straightforward or super easy route, especially if you have a lot of luggage. The rooms are quite standard. They have all the essentials: a kettle with green tea, a fridge, a TV, and various shampoos and gels in the bathroom (yes, there's a bathtub in the room). You can even see Mount Fuji from the window. The hotel itself has an interesting interior with cool details, such as an aesthetically pleasing lounge area before the dining room. The breakfast is good. Everything is tasty and varied; it’s definitely a step up from a basic economy hotel. There are fruits, vegetables, drinks, omelets, rice... and various meat and fish dishes, which I don't really pay attention to since I rarely eat them, but they were there. I didn't get to try the hot springs at the hotel, so I can't comment on them. Since I had already done a lot of hiking in the mountains over a few days, I requested a transfer for check-out. I was the only passenger! It took 7 minutes to Kawana Station, and a train to Ito/Atami was leaving 10 minutes later. Overall, it's an excellent hotel if you're not planning to spend a week traveling along the coast from here. For that purpose, it would be better to find something closer to the sea.

I stayed in a Japanese-Western style room with my parents, but I was relaxed as a wide 々. The large communal bath was large enough, but it was relatively crowded from the morning. The freshly baked dried fish was delicious for breakfast. The staff was also a good impression.

The food was very good. The only disappointing thing was that even though it was Golden Week, there were mosquitoes everywhere in the large building that had overwintered, and my child was bitten by many of them. It was a shame that he was covered in insect bites at the end of April. Mosquitoes also came into the room from the hallway when the door was opened and closed. I killed 10 of them. Also, it was a problem that the shower temperature in the large public bath on the first floor was 40 degrees and the lever could not be changed. Why don't they make it possible to change the temperature? My child said it was too hot, which was a problem.
