Exceptional! Totally agree with the other positive reviews. The only thing to add is that as of August 2024 they are still finishing the Meru, so not everything is completed, but everything that matters is open (gym, pool, restaurant opposite the beach) so there’s no problem. Also no noise or disruption experienced. The Bali Beach hotel (big white building) is next door and that is undergoing a major renovation but again it didn’t affect us as they have done everything possible to hide the renovation process. The Meru is an extension of that hotel, but it is brand new. I found that a little confusing when I was deciding where to book because people have posted pictures for both hotels that confuse them. The Meru is a big wood and stone complex and the beach pool is directly in front.

The location is relatively remote and the service needs to be improved.
Comfortable and spacious environment
There are many breakfast options but the taste may not suit everyone
The soundproofing of the room is not very good, I often hear the sound from the isolated room

Is a big & new resorts in Sanur area.
Room is big and new.
Everything is perfect.
Breakfast also many choices.
We really like it and definitely be back if we visit Bali again.

I hate writing poor reviews but this has to be put out there rooms are great restaurant is great but the pool at the meru is so bad it’s like a hot bath no one swims there and you go to the pool at the bali beach side pool is better but only have like 12 umbrellas and they are all taken by 8.30 in the morning so the rest of the sun lounges are in the sun so your going to get fried have stayed at a lot of 5 star hotels in Bali and this does not happen they always have shaded areas or a lot of umbrellas

🤩 wow wow and 🤩. What an experience! The accomodation, the service, the hospitality, second to none. This is the first time we experienced Bali and now we would like to go every year. We were looked after extremely well and are very grateful for our butler Riandi . A brand new gem is born on the beach of Sanur. We had a very warm welcome from the General Manager Mr Ed and the Director of rooms Ms Safitri. We immediately felt at home . The lobby is Grande and majestic with super great vibes. Rooms are brand new , huge in size with a beautiful bathtub . Free mini bar with decent snacks and drinks. Two huge pools , one exclusively for Meru guests and the other one for both properties. Turn down service is great . The hotel is only 10 minutes walk from the beach to the new Bali icon mall. Breakfast is amazing. We have enjoyed the wide variety of food and the amazing personalized service. For sure we will be back and recommend it to all our friends. Well done the Meru Sanur

For the first time I got hotel that fully support for breastfeeding mom. The Meru has some lactation room for doing breast pump/ breastfeeding which split from their toilet, so mom can be relax and stay hygine. Their team also ready and helpfull to assist to save our breasmilk in their freezer. Their food also very delicious that can be breastmilk booster. If you bring your child here, you do need to worry since their breakfast menu so kids friendly also delicious such (fish porridge, stock, and noodle).

Such a great place in a great location of Sanur Sushmita from guest relations went above and beyond to assist me with a foot injury I sustained while surfing to find a very hard to get moon boot in Bali. I can’t thank you enough for your effort and time. I will be back to stay here again.
