Stayed I night at Raja villa and Superior villa. Raja villa is very boutique with grand styling and great quirky bathroom. Good breakfast. Good pool shared between 5 or 6 rooms plus own plunge pool. In palace grounds so direct access to gardens when closed to public in evening and early morning.

Positive special experience - the rooms are in cottages: wonderful design, ours had an outdoor shower, a large kingsize bed, and narrow beautiful front door. Service at the hotel is superfriendly and helpful, though sometimes a bit complex (eg there are vouchers for the restaurant which is right next door.). Not luxurious but everything is provided for. The restaurant is very well positioned to oversee the waterpalace, the good is fine (not memorable). The guide provided for the tour was excellent, recommendes to take the tour. The waterpalace itself is extra interesting with a good guide, though at peak hours it gets flooded with tourists looking for an insta photo… Staying at the hotel in the palace really does offer the chance to get in early before the crowds.

Stupendo ristorante situato dentro il palazzo acquatico di Tirta Ganga. La sola vista dai balconcini dei tavoli vale il prezzo (irrisorio) del pranzo. Abbiamo mangiato un ottimo piatto degustazione di una decina di specialità locali. Un piatto più buono dell'altro. Direi superiore alla media locale come livello di cibo.

We stayed for one night in the hotel, which is located directly in the park. The park is very full during the day despite the low season, but it gets quieter after 5 p.m. The room was great, it was the Raja room with its own mini pool, unfortunately it was dirty. Bed, bathroom, air conditioning, everything was great, although one or two things should be done again. The food in the restaurant was ok, but nothing special and “expensive” for the standards. Fine for one night.
