Dhaka Hotels with Bars

Beautiful hotel, a haven of peacefulness which was very enjoyable to retreat to after exploring the chaotic streets of Dhaka. All staff members were very polite and friendly, the room was comfortable and the breakfast buffet was excellent. The rooftop pool and bar are also great.

Not too far from the airport, about a 30-minute drive. The hotel rooms are spacious, typical of a Holiday Inn. Facilities are comprehensive, and the mini-fridge being free is a nice touch. Laundry prices and times are reasonable. The breakfast selection is quite varied, primarily Western with a focus on curry, to be precise. There's also a small souvenir shop on the ground floor, and the free mango ice cream tastes really good. The service attitude was excellent. On the day I left, I asked how much a taxi to the airport would cost, and they recommended Uber because the hotel's taxi service was 5000, while Uber would be less than 1000.

The hotel rooms and restaurant are very tidy, and all the waiters have a friendly attitude! The service level is very high, and the kind and friendly treatment of Mr. MD Shakli the waiter, left a deep impression on me👍 I will stay at this hotel again next time😊

This hotel is quite good for Bangladesh standards. It has a rooftop pool and gym, and the breakfast is excellent. The facilities are a bit old, and the room was a little small.

A decent hotel in Gulshan, Dhaka, located in the city center with convenient access. The rooms are small, and the breakfast is rather basic for the price.

Extremely disappointed with the airport transfer service—completely unacceptable for a hotel of this caliber. Despite prior arrangements, I was left stranded at the airport for 30 minutes, as the hotel’s representative was waiting at the international terminal, even though I arrived via domestic. There was zero coordination and no communication from their side. I expected better from a so-called 5-star hotel. To make matters worse, they charged USD 90 for a simple 20-minute ride—an outrageous fee for a service that wasn’t even properly executed. No apology, no accountability, just an overpriced mess. That said, the rooms and amenities are commendable—clean, comfortable, and up to luxury standards. But service like this seriously undercuts the overall experience. Westin Dhaka, you can and should do much better.

The facilities are relatively new, with modern amenities such as high-speed internet, air conditioning, and a flat-screen TV. The surrounding environment is very safe and peaceful, with no disturbances or noise from the outside. Additionally, the location is perfect for travelers, as it takes only 10 minutes to reach the airport by taxi.

Unfortunately my room was very old and had an unpleasant smell (probably it used to be a smoking room). I didn’t like the poor conditions of my room. The hotel has got a very nice gym with sauna and a small pool. The gym is really convenient and well equipped. The restaurant is good enough and there is a nice coffee shop always open. The staff is very kind and professional.

The staff are courteous and helpful. The hotel is okay but bit old. It may benefit from refurbishment, especially the toilets and showers. The food has varieties in some extent but beef items which are inconvenient for me or many Hindu people, are too many.
