Yagyuso is traditionally elegant, understated luxury ryokan. I had a good time with my dog. It was quiet and the scenery was good, and there was an open-air bath in each room, so I was able to enter at any time. Most of the staff are foreigners, but they were good at Japanese and there was no problem.
