Better than expected, clean and tidy! The hot spring in the room directly faces Mount Fuji, and you can enjoy the beautiful view of Mount Fuji while sitting on the terrace! The service is top-notch, and the food is fresh and delicious! Each building is independent and quiet, absolutely worth the money!

Yagyuso is traditionally elegant, understated luxury ryokan. The room is comfortable, the food is exquisite, the tableware is very beautiful, the proprietress is enthusiastic, and the service is just right. Their open-air hot spring is really first-class. Soaking in the hot spring and enjoying the beautiful scenery around you makes you feel happy physically and mentally! Will go again.

The staff was very professional and kind. We reserved the private onsen for an additional cost. We booked the biggest onsen. The washing area and the changing room was impeccably clean. The end of the tub however was a bit scary. The walls and ceiling was covered in spider webs and there were giant spiders hanging on there which was a bit unnerving. Otherwise the public washing areas and the room were very clean. The ryokan however is a bit outdated. There are some markings on the wall and curtains.

I stayed here as a solo traveler with no meals included. The bath was equipped with hot spring water, but the only ventilation was from outside, so insects kept coming in. However, bathing while basking in the sunlight streaming in from the mountain view was pleasant. The room was spacious and I think it would be just right for two people. The futon was double-layered and fluffy. The comforter was also fluffy, but it made me too hot, so I wish they had provided a thin blanket as well. The basic amenities were all there. I was impressed that they always provided lotion and milk. There was a yukata and haori for indoor wear, but I wish they had also provided a jinbei. The toilet was equipped with a washlet that automatically flushes after use. However, the toilet's hand basin was difficult to use because the water pressure was weak and I wish it had a little more force. The washroom/changing room had good hot and cold water pressure and was spacious, so it was nice. Meals at the inn are by reservation only. As there is no restaurant on-site at the inn, we walked a little ways to eat out, but most of the restaurants are open irregularly so it might have been better to make a reservation with meals included. Next time I stay, I would like to make a reservation with meals included.

All aspects of the environment are very satisfactory, the food is very good, but the Japanese-style hotel that does not accept children. It is my favorite Japanese-style hot spring hotel. Another point is that it is more convenient to drive by yourself. However, the hotel should arrange a station pick-up and drop-off. Dinner: Super delicious!

The decoration is in the Western style of the 1980s. For some years, the room we stayed in still has paint smell. I don’t know if it has been repaired recently. I am a little worried about whether the health will be affected. The location is really partial, there is nothing around, the hotel is also small, only eight rooms, no public entertainment facilities, no public hot springs. It rained heavily on the day we arrived and could only stay in the room with no view. Be careful not to drive by yourself. Traffic is too difficult. Compared with such an expensive house price, I really want to faint. Just came from Asahi of Shuzenji the day before, this price is more expensive than Asana, but the experience is like mud. The price/performance ratio is too low. I don't know what the bottom line is. The good place is good service, good ingredients for dinner and breakfast, the next day the weather cleared, saw Mount Fuji, at the same time the hotel helped to contact a reasonable price taxi to the next destination, which is a little soothing to check the mood of the day.

We stayed as a couple in their 50s and their son and his wife. Dinner was served in the dining area, and the hot dishes were kept warm. The portions were generous, the flavor was great, and the all-you-can-drink alcohol was a delight for heavy drinkers. The breakfast buffet was also satisfying, with the option to grill dried fish at the table. The location is right in front of the ocean, and the view from our room was great. There was also an open-air hot spring bath, so we were able to relax while looking out at the sea. Overall, we were satisfied for the price. If I had to mention one drawback, it would be that there was no air conditioning in the corridors we used to move around, which was quite hot in this heatwave. Even after washing off the sweat in the bath, we were drenched in sweat by the time we got back to our room. (The air conditioning in the rooms was comfortable.)

It seems to be a traditional Japanese room renovation, very flavorful The room is a duplex and has stairs. Elderly people should be careful about slipping. The bathroom has hot spring water, but the bathtub is too thin, which is a pity The water temperature of the outdoor hot spring is relatively low, which is suitable for those who are taking a hot spring bath for the first time. The food is rich, including abalone! There are crabs! There are cows! And very delicious

The environment is nice, clean, and hygienic. There's no turndown service. It's right by the sea, so you can go for a walk in the evening. There are quite a few people fishing on the pier. There were a few insects near the hot spring in the room, probably because there's a mountain behind the hotel, but I managed to catch a few bigger ones! 💪 The sunset was beautiful, and lying in bed at night, I could even see the moon from my childhood! The photos are straight from the camera, unedited. The parking lot isn't at the hotel, which is inconvenient, and there's a lot of traffic when crossing the road. 😂

I had a good time with my dog. It was quiet and the scenery was good, and there was an open-air bath in each room, so I was able to enter at any time. Most of the staff are foreigners, but they were good at Japanese and there was no problem.
