When staying at BASE LAYER HOTEL NAGOYA NISHIKI, you'll be perfectly positioned to explore Naka Ward.

"Area near to station and nearby got few nice restaurants for both breakfast and dinner. There parking lots nearby also but expensive if parked whole night till morning.. There is a simple Japanese sake cafe with simple Japanese home cooked to go along with sake/beer or wines (just diagonal across the hotel as per hotel) open by Japanese owner and a ********* staff working inside. Friendly and home feel with many other Japanese inside.."

Hotel near Nagoya City Centre,Nagoya
With a stay at 9h nine hours Nagoya station, you'll be centrally located in Nagoya, within a 5-minute drive of Nagoya Station Tourist Information Center and Osu Shopping District. This capsule hotel is 10.3 mi (16.5 km) from LEGOLAND Japan and 4.3 mi (7 km) from Vantelin Dome Nagoya. Featured amenities include a 24-hour front desk, luggage storage, and an elevator. Make yourself at home in one of the 156 air-conditioned guestrooms. Complimentary wireless internet access is available to keep you connected. Bathrooms feature showers, hair dryers, and slippers.

"Perfect for short stays. Located near Nagoya Station - making taking JR/Shinkansen and the subway very easy. There’s plentiful restaurants around and the capsules were rather comfortable. Things to note is that they are unable to store luggage and you need to be out of the capsule rooms between 11-3, you can stay in the L10 lounge if you need somewhere to rest. They have lockers for you to store your stuff and is locked via. a QR code. The locker area is a bit tight for space but will be fine if you don’t stay for long-term and need to sort your luggage constantly. The showers were decently sized and there were enough bathrooms for use provided that it’s not rush hour. Overall, the experience was good and I would definitely stay at another 9h hotel for its price, comfort and convenience c:"

"Our stay at KOKO HOTEL was an amazing experience from start to finish. The hotel had a very clean, modern, and cozy atmosphere that made our trip even more enjoyable. The staff were polite, welcoming, and always helpful whenever we had questions or needed assistance. One of the things we loved most was the location. The hotel was conveniently close to train stations, convenience stores, restaurants, and shopping areas, which made exploring Japan very easy and stress free. The room was compact yet very well organized, with comfortable beds and all the essentials needed for a relaxing stay. We also appreciated how quiet and peaceful the hotel was, especially after long days of sightseeing. "This is the nth time I've stayed at a hotel from this brand. The room size and design are pretty much the same everywhere – not huge, but perfectly adequate. The complimentary breakfast is standard; it feels like the food is identical in every location, with the exception of one local specialty. It's much cheaper than hotels near Nagoya Station. Walking to Fushimi Station is also convenient. I later discovered that taking exit E from the underground shopping area is the shortest route, but be warned, there are only stairs, no elevators or escalators."

AAnonymous UserPros: 1. Good location 2. Comfy bed for rooms with 2 beds (twin *2 set up) Cons: 1. Slow insufficient elevators to tansit from lobby at 24F to 7F or 1F (to get out of the building) 2. AC vent blows right in your face (pic 1) 3. Do not book their kind bed room as it is not an actual King bed. It is very misleading to sell king bed room when it's actually 2 beds pieced together with a thin mattress cover. (And the mattress cover is made to hide the twin bed from direct view) 4. Like others said, the sides are too small to quickly get out of the bed. Have to shuffle to the bottom of the bed to get out. Fell asleep in the middle of the bed, felt weird but was too tired and passed out. Woke up with sore back from the bed and sore drybthroat from the AC blasting in my face all night. Took a look and it seemed like a king bed (pic 2), but it felt weird so checked again and found that its not a real king bed, but 2 bed pieced together with mattress topper wrap to appear like a king bed. I felt cheated that I was sold a room with king bed but it was not a real king bed. I expected better attitude from a 4 star hotel especially it is a newer hotel and in Japan. This action is a violation of Meiyo (honor) and Shokunin (craftsman) ethics. Pic 4 & 5 & 6 helps explains it from a third party view (I wanted to make sure what I felt was not biased or due to personal preference, so I double checked with google AI for ”third person” perspective) In summary: Selling two bed pieced together as a King isn't just a ”hack”—it's a betrayal of the Wa (harmony) between the maker and the user.

VvvangieI had to choose this hotel near Nagoya Station during the F1 season because there were no other options, but it turned out to be surprisingly convenient and comfortable: a 1500 yen taxi ride to Nagoya Station; a 7-Eleven right downstairs; Patagonia just across the main road; a 6-minute walk to Nagoya Tower & Hisaya Odori Park; 8 minutes to Kato Coffee; and 15 minutes to Montbell/Mitsukoshi Department Store/LACHIC. The room was tiny with no closet, making it difficult to store luggage, but all other facilities were fine. The public bath on the 14th floor and the breakfast on the 2nd floor were delicious, especially the udon noodles, hitsumabushi (three ways to eat eel), red bean toast, and siumai.

AAnonymous UserThe room was super value for money. Decent room size given the amount that we paid per night.. and they even have a chair in the washroom so that u can sit down while doing your makeup etc?? Staff were all very friendly and kind, which made the stay very comfy and enjoyable. :) It’s a short walk from the JR station, and there’s a rather big convenience store nearby called Ministop. Very comfortable bed and pillows I love it so much. It felt ok for me and my friend (both female) to walk back to hotel from the station at night. A couple of drinking places nearby so it’s very lively at night. I might be hesitant to stay in the area if I was alone though. But with friends it’s fine! Also, don’t miss the entrances to the underground shopping area ESCA. Easy access to restaurants, ***** stores/pharmacies, and other stores for shopping.

GGuest UserA very satisfying stay. 1. The front desk staff were excellent, very quick and professional with the check-in process. 2. The breakfast selection was rich, though at certain times it could get a bit crowded and require a short wait, but this was a minor issue. 3. The room was spacious, clean, and offered great views of Nagoya city. This definitely deserves a big thumbs up. 4. There's a convenience store just a 2-minute walk away, and Don Quijote is only 5 minutes away, which is incredibly convenient. Every aspect of my stay was great, so of course, I signed up for a membership.

Iindonesian TouristThe spacious room and the layout of everything in the room created a comfortable atmosphere that made us feel comfortable staying in the room for a long time. The staff was very responsive and friendly when we first checked in. The hotel is located not far from Nagoya Station. If I come back to Nagoya City, I will stay again at Hotel Nikko Style.

WWufaxianshiThe hotel's location is fantastic, right by Kanayama Station, making transport super convenient. There's a huge Aeon supermarket downstairs, which is really handy, and plenty of restaurants nearby. The room was clean and had good soundproofing.

GGuest UserPerfect for overnight stay as it is just next to the JR station. Room is compact but clean and comfortable. No view from my room window (facing another building), so you may want to request a better room if you are going to stay longer. Staffs can communicate in English and are very friendly. The hotel provides a lot of personal care kits and a small gift to guests, which is nice.

GGbooThis is a Meitetsu Inn property, so the rooms are on the smaller side, with typical Japanese unit baths. At night, the street below transforms into a vibrant, neon-lit entertainment district. The location is excellent, very close to Nagoya Station and Nagoya Castle, and right by Hisaya-odori Subway Exit 4, just a five-minute walk away. The breakfast on the first floor, though simple, is quite good. The restaurant offers complimentary tea and coffee all day (until 9 PM) and has a microwave. Vending machines are located on the 4th and 11th floors. There's also a self-service laundry. Amenities are available for self-service right next to the elevators on the first floor, facing the front desk. The front desk service was the most 'Showa-era' (old-fashioned, warm, and attentive) hospitality I've ever encountered – incredibly friendly. Perhaps because it was a Saturday, the price I paid seemed to be about double the usual rate. However, overall, it offers great value for money. Highly recommended!

GGuest UserThe hotel was very conveniently located, close to the live house we were visiting that weekend. The facilities were very clean, including the bathroom, and the beds were comfortable. We slept well. The staff was efficient and helpful, and they kindly stored our luggage both before check-in and after check-out. The only downside is that the hotel is located in a very lively area of Nagoya, and it was quite noisy outside until late at night. We personally didn’t have any trouble sleeping, and there was no noise from neighboring rooms, but it’s something worth keeping in mind.
