Facilities and Environment: The refrigerator was a plus, but the floor-to-ceiling window offered no ventilation at all, and the air conditioning was very weak, making the whole room stuffy. Outside the window, there was a river full of garbage. Service: The security guard in the hotel lobby proactively helped with luggage and always welcomed us with a smile when we returned to the hotel. Plus, the hotel offers a shuttle service to the city center on weekends. Location: It's about 1-5km from everything, but Bangkok traffic is really bad, so the location is just mediocre. Downstairs there's a rather small 7-Eleven. Near the hotel is P3's fresh market, which felt dirty and smelly. Hygiene: The tiled floor already gave a very unclean impression. I was too tired from an early morning flight, so I just went straight to sleep. When I woke up, I found a stain left by the previous guest on the bedding (sheets that couldn't be washed clean). After the hotel addressed it, they wrote an apology letter and gave three small snacks. Overall, I don't have a very good impression of this hotel.

The room was clean and very comfortable. It's super convenient for getting around, just a few minutes' walk to 7-Eleven and the subway, which takes you to the Erawan Shrine and various shopping malls. The staff were all warm and attentive. The SPA on the 7th floor was excellent with professional techniques. They even offered snacks and drinks before and after the massage. And that mango sticky rice was absolutely delicious! 😋

Last summer, I stayed at the same hotel and had a fantastic experience. This year, however, it was just average. First off, the hotel has been undergoing renovations every morning for a long time. Then, the ventilation system in the room wasn't good enough. I'm not sure where the renovation work was happening, but the entire room smelled of paint thinner, which made for a terrible experience. Also, a year later, the location for the morning buffet has changed. Unlike previous years, you can no longer enjoy breakfast with a view of the Chao Phraya River. Unless something changes, I won't be staying here next year.

The rooms are located in the Huai Khwang area, close to Huai Khwang MRT station. There are plenty of convenience stores and restaurants nearby. This hotel is very grand and luxurious, and the staff are warm and polite. It's my first choice every time I come to Bangkok for a business trip.

We stayed at this hotel and absolutely loved it! I do want to mention a couple of minor points upfront, just so future guests have realistic expectations, but ultimately, the atmosphere and aesthetics more than make up for them. 📍 Location and Transportation The hotel isn't within walking distance of the BTS (it's a bit too far to walk under the Bangkok sun). But this isn't a problem at all! We rented a scooter and could get to the Rama 9 area in just a few minutes. There are two huge shopping malls there (The Street and Fortune), so shopping, entertainment, and food choices are absolutely no issue. 🛏 Rooms and View The rooms are simply amazing! Very chic, stylish, and incredibly cozy. It's a pleasure to be in the room; every detail has been thought out. But the VIEW deserves special admiration. I was incredibly lucky with my floor and room placement: the window offers a panoramic view of the entire city! And the view of the cool rooftop makes you feel like you're in the heart of the metropolitan action, yet still in your own quiet haven. At sunset and when the city lights up – it's simply a magical spectacle. 🌆✨ 🍷 A Life Hack for the Perfect Evening Thanks to such a view and the cozy room ambiance, we didn't spend anything on restaurant dinners. The plan was perfect: we'd go to the mall on Rama 9, grab some delicious food (or cook ourselves), buy drinks, and just spend a lovely evening in the room, enjoying the Bangkok panorama. The budget savings were huge, and the emotions and romance were priceless! 🍕🥂 Conclusion: If you value comfort, aesthetics, amazing views, and love enjoying an evening in a cozy setting rather than rushing around the streets – this hotel is definitely for you. We will definitely be back!

The hotel is right next to Emsphere, very convenient and walking to MRT Phrom Phong is around 8-10mins, mostly covered or Asoke in the other direction non-covered. Hotel seems dated but relatively clean, staff is helpful and provide service with a smile. Not bad for the price and would stay again.

1. I stayed for one night because I was attending a concert at Idea Live, which is near the hotel. I was really grateful that the front desk allowed me to check in before 11 AM that day. 2. The hotel room was spacious and comfortable. The only downside was that the showerhead was quite old and didn't work very well; the water pressure was too strong, but the spray area was very small. 3. Getting to the hotel from BKK (Suvarnabhumi Airport) involved taking the Airport Rail Link for a few stops and then walking for about 15 minutes. However, that walk isn't the easiest, so it might be challenging if you have large luggage.

The night before check-in, I carefully read the negative reviews on Ctrip, which made me lose confidence in this hotel. I contacted Ctrip customer service in the middle of the night to try and cancel, but since it was past the cancellation time, we ended up staying there anyway… We had four adults and two children, so we booked a connecting quad room and a twin room. 1. **Hygiene:** The rooms were very clean. It felt comfortable to walk barefoot on the floor, and the bathroom was also very clean with a good wet/dry separation. 2. **Breakfast:** We had the power breakfast every day, and it was delicious and well-balanced. 3. **Service:** I didn't feel any discrimination; both the male and female customer service staff were very polite. 4. **Shuttle:** The hotel's regular schedule is a shuttle every half hour to the alley entrance, but during our two-day stay, we were able to leave whenever we wanted. 5. **Room Type:** For two adults and two children in Bangkok, there aren't many family room options. Many family rooms put all four people in one room, which can be disruptive when adults and children have different schedules. If you book two separate standard rooms, there's no way to look out for each other. So, connecting rooms are our favorite room type when choosing a hotel. 6. **Location:** This is indeed a drawback. Although the Sukhumvit area is great, the hotel is located deep inside an alley, which takes away the fun of being able to just step out and explore anytime… 7. **Pool and Gym:** The pool isn't big, but we were just transiting through Bangkok to Phuket, so we weren't planning on swimming at a city hotel anyway. The gym is also really small; it gets very crowded with just three or four people. However, they thoughtfully provide small towels for wiping sweat in the gym.

This is my go-to hotel in Bangkok, and the staff are always so friendly, so I never hesitate to book here. While the facilities are undeniably a bit dated, its central location offers excellent transport links, and traffic is relatively lighter compared to other areas, making it convenient for getting anywhere. On days when I have no plans, I love to relax by the rooftop pool and simply enjoy a comfortable hotel stay.
