It takes about five minutes to walk to the city center. The hotel staff are very friendly. The room was large and very comfortable. There are relatively many choices for breakfast. Overall very satisfied.

This is a great hotel. The staff members are very helpful and pleasant. The breakfast was plentiful and varied, and the room was clean and well appointed. The decor was nice even though not recently renovated. The location is good, but perhaps not perfect if you plan on swimming in the river, since it is a fifteen minute walk. On the other hand you can borrow or buy a waterproof bag for your clothes at the hotel.

This was just a great find. We arrived early but the room was ready and made available to us. The hotel itself is located close to the station, the town and a nice restaurant *****. Rooms are a good size, comfortable and equipped with all amenities. A very nice breakfast was included and there is a lovely garden where we could relax and enjoy the complimentary drink provided. The staff were fantastic - extremely welcoming and helpful. Could not recommend this place more highly.

Staff very kind and helpful. They could speak several languages fluently including English. Little garden in the back a lovely haven. Close to train station and old town / a great location.

Lovely hotel close to shops and transportation. Beautiful garden oasis off of breakfast room. Bathroom nice with great shower. Room super dark due to power shutters and black out drapes. Great for sleeping Front desk had adapter for our Europe adapter. Staff was lovely Would stay here again

Si la façade ne paie pas de mine, le dos donne sur une charmante terrasse/jardin. La chambre était petite, mais moderne, confortable, pleine d'attentions et de détails pratiques pour passer un excellent séjour. L'accueil et le personnel sont très sympathiques et l'apéritif de bienvenue est un vrai plus. Bien situé pour qui privilégie la marche et les transports publics pour visiter la ville.

Modern, clean, friendly and central hotel in Basel. The staff were extremely helpful, suggesting activities and chatting to us in English. The room was spotless, had comfy beds, was air conditioned and had everything we needed. Tea, coffee and hot chocolate was available all the time in the breakfast room, which led to pretty garden seating. Breakfast was very good, huge choice of bread, cheese, meats, porridge, fruit, cereals, pastries and eggs.
