We stayed in Room 1 - a super room with freestanding bath in the bedroom area that we booked very last minute. Despite our last minute booking and arriving after 6pm, staff were extremely hospitable. A beautiful hotel, with super breakfast and a great night's stay. The shower was fabulous - no rubbishy dribble of water! It was just perfect and very close for where we needed to be the following day.

Very centrally located, right in the centre with the Roman Baths Museum, the Bath Abbey and the New Royal (Thermae) Bath just a short walking distance away. The train station is also in walking distance. We had a spacious top floor room called The Old Plane Tree, which looks out over the square, through the branches of the huge old Plane tree. Room is 21m2 with an extra 1 m2 wardrobe space and very nicely decorated. Bathroom is 4 m2, queen-size bed of 190 cm x 160 cm wide. Coffee, tea, milk, water, Wifi, small TV and clock radio. Our room was very quiet as there is no traffic at night, but the management has thought of every detail and in the dresser drawer was earplugs for those who don’t want to be awaken by the birds singing in the tree. In the basement, next to the breakfast area is a refrigerator for the residents with complimentary fresh milk and bottled water, and a whole lot of tourist information folders. Excellent breakfast. We could leave our luggage and collect it later in the day. With the hotel key, comes a discount label for discounts to many attractions and shops in town, for example we got an extra hour at the thermal baths free (thus 3 hours for the price of the normal 2 hours). We would highly recommend this B&B for your stay in Bath Spa.

My husband and I had a wonderful stay at Eight. Location could not have been more perfect. Adjacent to the Roman baths and the historic abbey, but tucked away on a pedestrian courtyard so it felt like a peaceful retreat. With the windows open, we could hear street musicians playing. We stayed in room 15 with a large freestanding tub, which was quite luxurious. Our room was cleaned daily (no longer a given) and all the staff we encountered were very pleasant. I would definitely recommend Eight to a friend.

Stayed in room 1, which was lovely. Very clean, stylish and comfortable. Lovely big bath in the room and good shower room. Staff very friendly and helpful. Looked after our bags when we checked in early and left late. Can not fault it this lovely little hotel.

Service is amazing. The space is clean and organized. Breakfast is delicious. Can’t recommend more. Staff is brilliant at anticipating needs. Everyone was prompt and considerate. Very honest about financial matters (I got a refund!) can’t recommend enough

Fantastic place. Comfortable, good looking rooms, about as central as you can get, and the most welcoming, friendly staff. One of the owners showed us to our room and gave us some recommendations around town. Loved the little honesty bar downstairs too. I'll be staying here again next time I'm in Bath, no question.

We absolutely LOVED our stay at The Eight Hotel. The room accommodations were perfect. The room was large and lovely. The location of the hotel was perfect for our quick trip with the Abbey and the Roman Baths basically right outside our door.

Very pleasant boutique hotel. Clean, comfortable beds, amazing location right in the center of town near all the tourist attractions. Staff very nice and helpful. Some quirks - no elevator, steep small staircase - be prepared. Highly recommended for short visits to Bath.

Great location . Warm welcome . Good restaurant recommendations from the hotel ( we dined at Oak restaurant next door to the hotel & also Scallop Shell - both excellent) . The bed was very comfortable. The room and hotel were very clean . We would certainly stay here again
